Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 250: Yes, you can leave that as an option

”Thatʼs enough,” Geminia said, convinced that Idan and Arabel were telling the truth and could indeed use the Energy of Madness to enhance their abilities.

Then her gaze settled on Arabel. Being experienced in dealing with the Energy of Madness, Geminia noticed changes in its flow through Arabelʼs body.

Immediately after Geminiaʼs words, Idan dissipated his ability and was surprised to find damage on his sword. This sword was obtained by him from the beginner adventurerʼs set as a reward for completing a task from the System.

All this time, the sword had served him faithfully, and Idan had not yet looked for a replacement. He believed that until he found a decent sword, this one would serve him for a while longer. However, after one attempt to use the Energy of Madness along with mana on the sword, it was severely damaged, becoming covered with something resembling rust.

”Thatʼs enough, Arabel,” Geminia repeated, seeing that Arabel wasnʼt going to stop and wasnʼt going to turn off her ability.

”Huh?” It was only after Geminiaʼs repeated appeal that Arabel finally heard her and stopped using her power.

Like Idanʼs sword, her blade also suffered from the fusion of mana with the Energy of Madness.

”My sword!” — Arabel exclaimed, looking at her sword with the same surprise as Idan.

”Donʼt worry about the sword, Arabel, better focus on yourself,” she heard Geminia say when she discovered the damage to her weapon and began to lose heart.

”What?” — Arabel couldnʼt understand what Geminia was talking about. Turning to Idan, she saw his serious gaze and realized that something had happened.

Indeed, as soon as Arabel stopped using her ability, everyone noticed that one of her eyes, specifically the right one, instead of azure, turned the same shade as the Energy of Madness. In addition, part of her hair turned the color of Madness Energy.

”Arabelʼs condition seems to be much worse than I expected,” Geminia said, sighing heavily. Then, looking at the surprised Idan and Arabel, she added:

”You said that this is just a side effect that should go away on its own. However, based on what I just witnessed, I can confidently say that instead of disappearing, the situation is only getting worse.”

”What? How is this possible?” Idan and Arabel couldnʼt believe Geminiaʼs words. After all, the System assured them that everything would go by itself.

”System?” — Arabel mentally turned to the System immediately after Geminiaʼs words, unable to believe what she had heard.

[Host, according to the initial assessment of this System, everything should have gone by itself, but due to unforeseen circumstances and changes, the situation has changed. Currently, this System is not sure that the side effect can disappear without outside intervention.]

”Damn it, System!” Although Arabel was very surprised and angry, she still held back her emotions and screamed only in her mind.

”Itʼs not funny anymore,” Idan said seriously. ”Either something is wrong with us, or the system is not as reliable as we initially thought.”

”Iʼm leaning towards the first option, Dan, that thereʼs something wrong with us, not with the System. Itʼs very likely that we donʼt meet the requirements of System,” Arabel said bitterly.

Idan didnʼt want to admit it, but Arabel was probably right.

”But so what? It doesnʼt change anything,” Idan thought.

”Donʼt lose heart, Belle,” he said, coming up to her and staring at her intently.

Arabel, noticing Idan, looked up and met his gaze.

”I managed to deal with a similar problem somehow, and Iʼm sure you can too. Instead of giving up and failing, I believe that you can turn this problem into your strength and become even stronger,” Idan said with confidence.

”So what if something is wrong with us? So what if we donʼt meet the possible existing requirements of the System? We all have our flaws, just like you and me. We just need to acknowledge it and find a way to overcome them and become better versions of ourselves. So cheer up, Belle!”

[Hosts, teleportation is available]

Suddenly, System announced that they could return to their world.

”Huh? What?” — Arabel exclaimed in surprise.

”Has it been a day in our world?” — Idan, initially puzzled by this news, immediately understood what was being said and decided to test his guess.

[Yes, Host, it has been exactly one day since your last use of teleportation.]

”So thatʼs it,” Idan said with a smile. Then, turning to Arabel, he explained how Systemʼs teleportation ability worked.

”The rollback time for this ability is one earth day. No matter where we are, after exactly one day in our world, the ability will be recharged, Belle. We need to wait for exactly one day of our world, not a day in Limbo or somewhere else.”

”So we can go back now?” asked Arbel, realizing the complex processes of recharging the Systemʼs teleportation ability.

”Yes, we can,” Idan nodded.

While the couple was talking through a mental link, everyone waited calmly. Everyone knew that the couple had this ability and that the couple loved to abuse it and communicate quietly and covertly in front of them.

”Geminia, do you have any thoughts about Arabelʼs condition?” Idan asked hopefully, turning to Geminia after talking to Arabel. None of the people present had as much experience in dealing with the Energy of Madness as she did.

”Well, I have a couple of ideas,” Geminia replied with a smile.

Arabel and Idan felt some encouragement from her words.

”What needs to be done for Arabel?” asked Idan.

”Let her follow me. I will help her alleviate her symptoms and teach her how to use the Energy of Madness properly. If you want, you can join too,” Geminia suggested.

It was a great chance, and Arabel and Idan were willing to accept. However, Idan suddenly remembered where they were going before they came here.

”By the way, Geminia...” Idan decided to share with Geminia and the others his thoughts based on his experience of taking control of his bloodline. He suggested that after meeting his younger brother, Arabel, like him, might have a chance to take control of her bloodline and at the same time get rid of the side effect of the Energy of Madness.

”Your idea has a right to exist, but there are no guarantees that everything will work out,” Milica said after everyone had listened to Idan.

”But even if thatʼs the case, we can try, right?” Arabel asked.

”Yes, you can leave that as an option,” Geminia agreed.

”Then Belle, stay in Limbo, and Iʼll come back and continue on my way,” Idan suggested.

”What? No!” Arabel immediately objected.

”Calm down, Belle. Weʼve already covered most of the way, and itʼs not far to the border of the North, where your brother should be at this time,” Idan said.

”Donʼt forget the time difference,” Idan said. ”Even if it takes me a while to get to your brother, it wonʼt take more than a few days, and it will only take one day here.”

Arabel was so shocked by Idanʼs suggestion of a temporary separation that she completely forgot about the time difference between Limbo and their world.

”Iʼll come back as soon as I find your brother. Donʼt worry, I wonʼt meet him without you,” Idan assured.

”Okay,” Arabel finally agreed, deciding to stay and follow Geminia.

”Iʼll take Rizzy and Ned with me, — Idan said.

”Take Coco with you,” Arabel suddenly suggested. Looking around, she saw Coco and, without hesitation, headed towards her, leaving the others behind.

”Donʼt worry, Idan, weʼll look after her,” Milica assured.

”I know and believe you all. Itʼs just that Arabel hasnʼt been herself lately because of the side effect, so forgive her.”

Everyone smiled, seeing how much Idan cared about her.

”Coco!” Arabel called, approaching the fox cub.

Coco and Kitty, who had been busy with their own business all this time and not paying attention to the others, suddenly froze. Hearing the call and seeing the appearance of the Mistress, Coco was scared and, seeing the color of the Energy of Madness in the right eye of the Mistress, she peed out of fear.
