Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 234: By the river (part 1)

Having quickly finished everything, Idan sat down to enjoy the view of the flowing river and think a little.

Recently, he had been worried about the number of System Points they had left — just under one and a half thousand.

After opening his status, Idan checked the cost of opening a new slot for a new bloodline. It turned out that opening the second slot costs 500 System Points, and the cost of the bloodline potion increased from 150 to 300 System Points after leveling up.

Thus, Idan will need 800 System Points to unlock a new bloodline, and if Arabel is included, then another 800 additional points. In total, this is already 1,600 System Points, which they no longer have.

There were several corpses of Platinum-ranked beasts and a dozen Gold-ranked corpses in their storage.

For corpses of Platinum—ranked beasts, the system offered from 50 to 100 system points, and for corpses of Gold - from 10 to 50.

They were missing several hundred system points, and they could be replenished by selling these corpses. However, their number was limited, and as soon as they implement them, it will run out. Unless they return to Junonia or Limbo to hunt new beasts, preferably Platinum or Diamond grade.

With their current ”Gold” rank, using a unique ability, the two of them could handle some ”Platinum” rank beasts, but it would be risky and dangerous.

It would be better for them to return to Limbo and, having enlisted the support, hunt a little.

However, there was one problem — the time difference.

”If only we could identify and seize the right moment...” thought Idan aloud.

[Host, thanks to the Anchor, System can tell the time difference between your world and Limbo.]

[System has already found out that time flows unevenly in Limbo. It accelerates and slows down periodically, and the intervals between such changes are exactly 7 days in Limbo. Simply put, the speed of time changes every time a so-called ”Reset” occurs. Host, you can take advantage of the accelerated time period and try to complete your plan.]

”What? Is that true?” Idan couldnʼt believe what he was hearing. If thatʼs really the case, then that would be just wonderful.

[Yes, Host, thatʼs true.]

After receiving the confirmation, Idan felt a surge of inspiration for a moment. But then he thought about it. If thatʼs really the case, then in the two and a half months that they spent in Limbo, Idan and Arabel must have gone through several periods of change over time.

”Was our luck so bad that during our time in Limbo, we were in a time-lapse period the whole time?”

[Yes, youʼre right, Host. By the will of fate or by chance, almost all of the 11 weeks you spent in Limbo, you fell into a period when time flowed slowly there. Because of this, two and a half months turned into one year and nine months.]

Idan just smiled sadly when he heard the confirmation from the system.

Although the idea of hunting in Limbo was tempting, the problem was still the time difference. They had to wait for the accelerated time period to begin in Limbo after the Reset. But when that would happen was unknown, and just sitting and waiting was not an option.

”By the way, System, since you mentioned Limbo, can you tell me how the process of moving to another world works?” Idan completely forgot to ask about it after they returned to their world.

[Host, you have successfully completed your first transition and returned safely after completing the task. Due to the privilege of this System, due to its Epic rarity, you can make the transition to another world once a day. However, the next transition is possible only after one earth day in your world.]

”So we can return to Limbo or Junonia at any time?” asked Idan. They had two anchors, one they left in Limbo, and the other was Nemo.

[The answer is yes.]

The hunting plan could also be implemented in Junonia, because there were animals that exceeded the ”platinum” rank. However, it was too risky, especially considering that the couple didnʼt know enough information about Junonia yet.

”What are you thinking about?” — Arabel asked as she joined Idan with Coco, sitting down next to him.

”A lot of things. About the System points that we are running out of, about the transition to another world, about Limbo and much more...”

”Speaking of System Points, it reminded me of the Lucinda blood essence that Sierra obtained for me. I checked the price, and it turned out that each of the two vials costs 500 System Points per sale.” Arabel remembered that she hadnʼt shared this information with Idan yet.

”Thatʼs how it is. Well, keep them with you for now, youʼll need them when itʼs time to upgrade your bloodline rank.” There were only two vials, and the probability of successful preparation of the potion in the ”Alchemy” function was only 50 percent. No one could guarantee that everything would work out the first time, so Idan decided not to sell.

”How do you think Nemo is?” asked Arabel.

”Itʼs only been two days since he went to Junonia, and I think heʼs just getting used to it now. I hope nothing terrible happened to him after arriving at the place,” Idan was also curious to know what their champion Nemo was doing.

”System, can you watch him? Heʼs our champion, and he doesnʼt have a connection with you?” Arabel asked, remembering how Nemo became their champion and gained his status. She wondered if the System could monitor him.

[Hosts, the System does not have the ability to monitor the champion continuously, 24 hours a day. However, the Champion has an independent simplified version of this System that sends reports on his achievements from time to time. According to the latest reports, everything is fine with your champion. Other than the appearance of a strange creature sucking his blood, no new events happened to him.]

”Huh? A strange blood-sucking creature? Is it a vampire?” Arabel and Idan were amazed by this news about Nemo.

[Sort of], the system replied.

Idan and Arabel exchanged glances, trying to figure out exactly what the system wanted to say with those words.

***

In Junonia, on the continent of Labyrinths, in one of the many cities, in a inn, in one of the rooms, a young man with black hair was sitting on a bed, with a strange mask on his face, and his right arm was missing.

This young man was Nemo, who had already arrived in Junonia two days ago and started collecting information. However, he was currently sitting in a daze, staring at the two pulsating little cocoons in front of him.

Nemo was in shock and couldnʼt figure out how it all happened. He could only scold the so-called System that he got after becoming the Champion of Idan and Arabel. After all, it was this System that was to blame for the fact that these two cocoons appeared in front of him.

One of the cocoons was creepy and blood-red, while the other was more calm, with red veins and purple hues.

In the room, besides Nemo, there was Kitty in the form of a little kitten. She sniffed at the two cocoons with interest, and the blood-red made her uneasy. However, she felt close to the second cocoon, so she stayed close to it.

Nemo sighed. All his plans will have to be reviewed. According to this system, it will take about a week for all of this to be over.
