CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1899: Chapter 1907: Taken Care Of

Due to time constraints, even though Brooke Black had a lot to say to Jane Sampson, she hurriedly ended the call.

With the Black Family’s connections and relationships, even if the incident didn’t occur in Capital Province, finding out which reporter went to the hotel to interview Jillian Carter in the morning was still a minor task for Brooke Black.

Brooke Black only needed to instruct with one sentence.

Identify all the reporters who participated in the interview, and ensure the interview doesn’t appear in any form. Her subordinates did this task neatly and securely for Brooke Black.

Brooke Black didn’t keep Jane Sampson waiting too long either. Jane’s makeup was not yet done when Brooke returned the call.

In the makeup room, it happened that only Sister Candice was present, so Jane Sampson could answer the call directly without needing to hide.

”The issue’s been handled, and all the videos from this morning’s interview are in my possession now, with no backups, so you don’t need to worry about them being circulated,” Brooke Black said. ”Jane, I only saw the twitter hot topic this morning and learned about last night’s events. In the future, be more cautious with Jillian Carter.”

”I understand, Auntie,” Jane Sampson replied.

”By the way, in a few days, Oliver Black will go over there to take care of some business. Is there anything special you’d like him to bring for you?” Brooke Black asked.

”No, if I’m lacking something here, I can buy it myself. He’s coming over on a business trip, surely busy enough without me adding to his burdens,” Jane Sampson chuckled. ”Instead, I’ve bought a lot of gifts for the little fellow from Oliver’s family. When he’s about to leave, let him tell me the address, and I’ll have my assistant send them over to him.”

”The little fellow will surely be thrilled, as he already adores you as his auntie so much. You always remember to buy him gifts wherever you go. Since he’s on vacation, he’s been talking about wanting to visit you,” Brooke Black laughed lightly, passed on a few more matters, and then hung up the phone.

”All sorted?” Coco Edwards couldn’t wait to ask once Jane Sampson ended the call.

”Sorted,” Jane Sampson nodded.

”That’s good,” Sister Candice was well aware that with the Black Family’s capabilities, such minor matters could be handled with ease when informing Jane Sampson.

Although Jillian Carter is backed by the Carter Family, the Black Family belongs to the Capital Province circle, suppressing some media messages wouldn’t be difficult.

”It’s sorted, so it’s okay. Though strictly speaking, it didn’t damage little Jane’s reputation or interests, the way Jillian Carter uses people is just disgusting,” Coco Edwards said. ”Handling it this way also serves as a warning to Jillian Carter that you’re not someone she can readily manipulate or scheme against.”

Jane Sampson looked at herself in the mirror, and lifted her gaze to the two standing behind her with a smile, but said nothing.

Meanwhile, over at the Black Family.

Brooke Black did far more than she mentioned to Jane Sampson.

Brooke Black’s protection stemmed from the true legacy of Elder Black.

After obtaining the video, Brooke Black packaged it and sent it to Old Sir Carter’s email, without leaving an extra word.

Combining the issue on twitter, Brooke Black thought, as long as Old Sir Carter isn’t senile, he’d understand the reason she sent this email.

At this time, Jillian Carter was still at the hotel and hadn’t gone back yet.

After receiving a phone call, she threw a fit inside the room, smashing the kettle and glass onto the ground level.

Glass shards were scattered everywhere.
