CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1872: Chapter 1880: Don’t Worry

”Baby... baby...” Liam Woody stammered for half a day without saying anything else.

Holding the mobile phone in James Black’s office, his whole face flushed with excitement, even his dark skin couldn’t hide his excitement.

”The doctor said, our baby and I are doing fine, just need to rest well. You don’t have to worry, I’ll be busy here for a few more days and then I’ll go back. Jane is still here, so I’ll hang up now.” After Mair Williams finished speaking, she decisively hung up the phone.

Then she returned the mobile phone to Jane Sampson, sighed, and asked, ”Do you think I’m being a bit useless?”

”Why do you say that?” Jane Sampson put the mobile phone back in her pocket and, still feeling unsatisfied, touched Mair Williams’ belly, musing, ”Life is truly amazing. I wonder if this baby will look like you or Liam Woody. If it’s a baby girl, she should definitely look like you. If it’s a baby boy...”

”If it’s a baby boy, he should look like me too. If he looks like his dad, there won’t be a second person in this world as blind as I am. Wouldn’t my baby boy be a lifelong bachelor then?” Mair Williams shook her head, ”No matter if it’s a boy or girl, being like me is best.”

”May your dreams come true,” Jane Sampson offered a sincere blessing.

”Don’t laugh at me. When you have a child in the future, you better hope it doesn’t resemble your Chief Black, or else you’ll have a headache.” Mair Williams poked Jane Sampson’s belly, ”What about you? When do you plan to give your Chief Black a baby?”

”Baby? Baby? Can we cultured people speak a bit more refined?” Jane Sampson turned her flushed face away, lightly humming, ”He’s so annoying, I’m not going to have a baby for him.”

”Even though he’s annoying, you still like him a lot, don’t you? Every pot has its matching lid, rightfully so.” Mair Williams grinned widely, very pleased. ”Moreover, your Chief Black really spoils you and treats you like a treasure. Don’t deny you haven’t felt it.”

Jane Sampson stayed silent, denying it would indeed be a bit heartless.

Mair Williams retracted her mischievous hand from Jane Sampson’s belly, saying, ”This child came too suddenly. Liam Woody and I were caught off guard. I didn’t dare ask Liam Woody if he’s happy about it; in fact, I’m pretty scared he’d say it’s not the right time and ask me to abort the child.”

That’s why Mair Williams used Jane Sampson being there as an excuse to hurriedly hang up the phone earlier.

”Liam Woody is not that kind of person. Although the child came suddenly, it’s still your child after all. Liam Woody was with you with marriage in mind, so the child just accelerates the timing of your marriage.” Jane Sampson believed in her heart that Liam Woody, like James Black, was a very responsible person.

Moreover, setting aside the aspect of responsibility, Liam Woody truly likes Mair Williams. Now that his beloved woman is pregnant with his child, Liam Woody should be thrilled.

”I think your worries are just pregnancy syndrome, overthinking things,” Jane Sampson comforted the slightly uneasy Mair Williams, saying, ”Put your mind at ease, this child, even if an unexpected arrival, is still a pleasant surprise from God for you and Liam Woody, a gift. Liam Woody will definitely anticipate the child’s birth even more than you.”

”That’s right,” Mair Williams regained her confidence at once, ”It’s not like I can’t afford to raise a child. If Liam Woody shows even the slightest sign of disliking this child, I’ll just kick away the baby’s dad and raise the child on my own.”
