CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1825: Chapter 1833: Watching a Video

”Alright.” Jane Sampson nodded, ”Mr. Carter, would you like me to take your luggage to the hotel first? Your home is not far from the film crew, so you probably don’t need to take your luggage home, right?”

Jane Sampson remembered that James Carter’s home was only about 120 kilometers away from the film crew, a drive of just over two hours.

Since James Carter’s assistant wasn’t around to help with the luggage, Jane Sampson made the suggestion.

”Alright.” James Carter thanked her.

The three parted ways at the airport.

Jane Sampson and Coco Edwards returned to the film crew.

James Carter took a taxi directly to the high-speed train station, bought the earliest ticket, and boarded the express train headed to his city.

James Carter chose the express train over driving home to save time.

Sitting in the first-class seat of the express train, it was the first time he felt that its speed was surprisingly slow.

After the train departed, he pulled out his mobile phone and called Father Carter.

”Dad, I’m on the express train now, and it’ll arrive in about forty minutes. Please arrange for someone to pick me up at the station, and also pick up grandpa and grandma from the countryside to our house. You and mom should wait at home. I have something very, very important to tell you all.” James Carter’s tone was serious.

”What’s so important that you have to bring your grandparents too?” Father Carter asked, ”Can’t it be talked about on the phone?”

”No, it can’t.” James Carter’s voice trembled slightly, ”Dad, you all, each one of you must be there. This matter is really very, very important.”

James Carter never planned to tell his family about this matter over the phone.

Because he feared it wouldn’t be clear enough.

He was afraid of wasting time.

From the Twitter Night event, watching Jane Sampson break down and cry on stage, James Carter realized just how much Jane longed for her daddy and mommy.

Therefore, James Carter restrained himself from directly telling Jane Sampson that he was her brother, her real brother.

James Carter thought that this was what the Carter Family owed Jane Sampson, so they shouldn’t approach her so casually.

It should be done more formally and ceremoniously.

When the express train arrived, the driver arranged by Father Carter was waiting at the doorway for James Carter. Once picked up, the driver started the car without any delay and returned to the Carter Family.

By the time James Carter got home, Father and Mother Carter, Old Sir Carter, and Old Madam Carter were already waiting there.

When James Carter entered the door, Father Carter was still murmuring about not understanding what was so important that required the entire family to be called back.

”Dad, mom, grandpa, grandma.” James Carter walked in, placed his cane aside, sat next to Mother Carter, and took out his mobile phone from his pocket. ”Before I speak, let me show you a video.”

The video was downloaded from Twitter by James Carter, produced by Jane Sampson’s fans, capturing the part where Bright Sampton talked about finding Jane Sampson’s biological parents during last night’s interview.

James Carter knew that his family’s seniors, like grandpa and grandma, almost never surfed the net, and Father Carter had been too busy to pay attention to online news recently.

Mother Carter had also been busy with a new song for the past two days and hadn’t been online.

So, while the entire internet was helping Jane Sampson search for her biological parents, the family most likely had no idea, which was why they were all so calm.

”What video?” Mother Carter asked with a bit of confusion, leaned in for a closer look, and recognized the people inside, ”Isn’t this little Jane’s younger brother? Seems like his name is Bright Sampton, plays games, and now netizens are saying it’s the e-sports circle, right? Is that the word?”
