CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1807: Chapter 1815: Back Then

They were all newborns, and coincidentally all three were girls. Among the three girls, two were relatively small, and one was a normal baby, with one of the small ones also being premature.

The Sampton Family was well-off, and after Mother Sampton gave birth, she was in good health. Because of the fire in the delivery room incident, the Sampton Family was very uneasy about that tiny hospital, so they immediately transferred Mother Sampson and the child to Capital Province Major Hospital.

Mother and daughter stayed at the hospital for just a few days before going to the Postnatal Care Center.

As for the other two.

One was Julie Sampton’s foster mother, a rural person, who unexpectedly went into labor on road and was sent to the hospital by a kind passerby. The Chip Family had no money, and Mother Chip couldn’t afford to stay at the hospital, and didn’t even pay the hospital delivery fees. After taking her child from the nurse’s hand, she seized the moment when the hospital nurse was busy and held her own daughter and hurriedly was discharged, evading the Medical Expenses.

As for Jane Sampson’s birth mother, as described by that veteran doctor, she was the most special existence.

The veteran doctor said if she recalled correctly, that parturient had some reason that led to premature birth. When sent to the hospital, she was nearly faint, holding on with one last breath until she gave birth.

This parturient’s identity was very special; when she was admitted, there were people beside her who looked like bodyguards or assistants.

During the hospitalization, the parturient didn’t register any identity information, which was originally not allowed, but later the dean received one call and asked the head of obstetrics to personally deliver the child for this parturient, without any information registration.

After giving birth, she was also secretly transferred out of the hospital, even taking the child away with her.

Three parturients, Jane Sampson’s birth mother was the first to leave the hospital, at the time when the doctors were amidst chaos with the delivery room fire, the child was sent by the nurse to the parturient over there.

By the time that veteran doctor finished handling the delivery room fire, eased a breath and prepared to patrol wards, Mother Sampton and Jane Sampson’s birth mother had already left with the children.

The veteran doctor delivered for Julie Sampson, so when she saw Mother Chip holding Julie Sampson, she instantly recognized the child in Mother Chip’s arms wasn’t the one she delivered for Mother Chip.

The veteran doctor remembered very clearly that the child Mother Chip delivered was somewhat malnourished, although it was full-term, it was still thin and small, the crying was weak, completely not the healthy baby girl swaddled in her arms in the ward.

The veteran doctor asked the responsible nurse and upon hearing that the daughter Mother Sampton took away was the lightest child in body weight, the veteran doctor also understood, these three children were mixed up, none was with their biological mothers.

The veteran doctor considered reporting it but, before she could, Mother Chip absconded with the child.

Upon investigation, it was found that the information Mother Chip used for registration was all fake, she never intended to pay the hospital fees from the start.

Among the three parturients, the veteran doctor only found the Sampton Family’s information; as for the other two clans, she had no idea who they were, even if she wanted to correct this mistake, there was no way to quietly inform these three.

Moreover, with a promotion imminent at that time, the veteran doctor and nurse conferred and finally decided not to report it, covering it up.

Due to guilt, the two pooled money to pay the Medical Expenses owed by Mother Chip.

The matter later ended unresolved.

In less than two years, that tiny hospital was abolished under policy, and the veteran doctor was transferred to another larger hospital.
