CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1818: Chapter 1826: Strength in Numbers

”Actually, it wasn’t me who chose to join FOU, it was FOU that gave me the opportunity and chose me. I am very grateful to our team leader for trusting me, and grateful to my teammates for their help.”

Bright Sampton let out a breath, ”I’ve been waiting for this question the whole night.”

Bright Sampton’s hand tightened slightly on the microphone, ”Many people are curious about what made me choose to become a full-time eSports player despite my family’s objections and my studies. If I wanted to sound nice, I could give all sorts of flowery reasons, but I don’t want to lie.”

Bright Sampton stood up and bowed towards the lens. He slowly began to speak again after standing up straight.

He said, ”The reason I chose to become a full-time eSports player is simply because besides studying, the only thing I excel at is playing games. I want to be someone who captures the attention of the masses, I want people to notice me, I want to be seen.”

”It’s not because I want to be famous.” Bright Sampton said softly amidst the surprised glances of his teammates, ”Because there is something I’ve always wanted to do in my heart. Besides winning the championship and getting the chance to be noticed in front of the lens, I couldn’t think of any other way at the time.”

”What is it?” The host had a vague feeling that Bright Sampton might be about to reveal something significant.

The host guessed, could it be that he’s confessing to his girlfriend? Or proposing?

Because such high-profile acts had been done by team members before.

But everyone guessed wrong.

Bright Sampton took a deep breath, ”I want to find my sister’s biological parents for her, in this live broadcast channel, in front of over a million viewers, I want to find my sister’s daddy and mommy for her.”

”My sister is so wonderful, I feel that more people should love her. She never says it, but I know she really wants to find her biological parents. Every time, when leaving home, seeing her look at other families happily walking together, she is envious, but she has never said it out loud, yet I can see it and it breaks my heart.”

Bright Sampton said, ”I ask netizens to help me search for my sister’s biological parents. Over twenty years ago in the winter month, in the Capital Province suburb, at a place called Hule Hospital, a child was born. There were three parturients in the delivery room, all gave birth to daughters, and at the time of the delivery, a small unexpected fire broke out.”

”It was also because of this unexpected fire that my sister was separated from her biological mother due to a nurse’s carelessness and came to be with me.”

”Now, Hule Hospital no longer exists, and my sister’s biological mother did not leave any useful information at the hospital back then, and all the informants have passed away. So after Julie Sampton returned to the Sampton Family, my parents considered looking for my sister’s parents but unfortunately found nothing.”

”The more the better. Now, I am here, imploring everyone to help us, to help my sister. Please ask if anyone around you has relatives who gave birth to a daughter at Hule Hospital and encountered a fire in the delivery room. I beg you to help me find her daddy and mommy.”

At this point, Bright Sampton choked up slightly, ”If her daddy and mommy, if you are currently watching this live stream, please, get in touch with us.”

At this point, Bright Sampton’s tone suddenly changed, ”Even if you are farmers, as long as you truly love this daughter, my sister will certainly be very happy, but if you are only after my sister’s money, then I’m sorry, as long as I Bright Sampton am alive, no one will bully my sister, let alone take advantage of her!”
