CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1806: Chapter 1814: Searching Together

After James Black started the car, he realized there were reporters following behind, but he easily shook them off.

He drove to a place without many people and then parked the car by the roadside.

Jane Sampson sat in the co-pilot seat, still sobbing, with tears ceaselessly streaming down.

There was already a pool of tear stains on the skirt hem of her formal dress.

James Black unbuckled both of their seatbelts, got out of the car, opened the co-pilot door, reached out, pulled Jane Sampson into his arms.

”Don’t cry.” he said softly.

Originally, her sobbing had subsided a bit, but with his comfort, Jane’s sobbing became slightly more intense instead.

James Black was quite troubled but also more heartbroken.

”No crying.” He wiped the tears from her face with his hand, ”I’m here.”

Jane Sampson slowly looked up at James Black, then threw herself back into his arms, her voice trembling, ”I thought, as long as I worked hard, as long as I stood tall enough, they would see me, I am their daughter, they would always recognize me. Isn’t that how it is in dramas? They say there’s a magical connection between children and parents. I’ve been waiting, waiting for them to come find me.”

The more tears James wiped, the more they flowed, ”Everyone has daddy and mommy, everyone has home, James, why don’t I? I want to, too. Is it because I’m not good enough that they can’t see me? If I try harder, stand higher, will they definitely see me?”

Everyone has a place they belong, but only she doesn’t have one.

Even Julie could find her daddy and mommy, why can’t she ever find hers?

”You have me.” James Black gently patted Jane Sampson’s head.

He couldn’t promise Jane Sampson much, but the only thing he could promise was that he’d always stay by her side.

”Since you want to find them, let’s find them together.” James Black said, ”If they are still in this world, I’ll accompany you to search, search until we find them. If they are no longer in this world, I will love you more on their behalf, alright?”

Actually, James Black had known for a long time why Jane Sampson entered the acting circle.

But, since she didn’t say it, James Black pretended not to know.

It’s not that he hadn’t thought of privately helping Jane Sampson find her biological parents, but there was simply nowhere to start.

In the past, Julie Sampson relied on the obstetrician who delivered her to find her way back to the Sampton Family, which was really Julie’s luck. Julie Sampson dropped out of school and did child labor in Capital Province, and just happened to enter this doctor’s home to take care of this veteran doctor. And Julie looked like Father Sampton, and the doctor, feeling guilty for what happened in the past, recognized Julie at first sight.

The veteran doctor didn’t have much time left, so he personally brought Julie Sampson back to the Sampton Family and revealed the truth about the children being switched back then.

This is how Julie Sampson returned to the Sampton Family.

After Julie returned to the Sampton Family, the Sampton Family did try to help Jane Sampson find her biological parents.

But, they couldn’t find them at all.

In the past, there were three parturients in the delivery room, one was Mother Sampton, one was Julie Sampson’s adoptive mother, and the other was Jane Sampson’s biological mother.

The three children were born around the same time, but because a young nurse in the delivery room operated improperly, a fire broke out, and the children and parturients were urgently moved out.

In such chaos, the children were mixed up by several nurses.
