CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1692: Chapter 1700 He Did It

”Alright, I just suddenly remembered to give you a call to let you know in advance, so you won’t go and like every single twitter post people make.” Brooke Black chuckled, ”But you better not play this game right now; otherwise, if you accidentally like something you shouldn’t, it might be hard to handle later on.”

”Got it.” Jane Sampson agreed with a hum, thinking to herself if she could secretly register a small account to go and like all those posts.

”By the way, auntie, did you arrange for those things on the internet realm?” Jane Sampson originally didn’t connect these things with Brooke Black.

She assumed that these were matters discovered by savvy people on the internet realm, so they leaked the information to gain popularity.

After all, some information, like who the male and female leads are, the film crew couldn’t possibly keep under wraps until the end. There are so many film crew personnel and extras going in and out every day; as long as there’s money, there’s no information that can’t be bought.

”Indeed, it was arranged by me and someone from Swan Goose over there, but it wasn’t our idea.” Brooke Black said with a laugh in her voice, ”Who do you think gave the idea to expose both the news of Jillian Carter being the new female lead and her scandals together, Miya Rice?”

”Sister Tin?” Jane Sampson guessed there were only a few possibilities.

”It actually wasn’t.” Brooke Black initially wanted to say it was James Black, but considering the internet realm nickname Jane’s fans have for James, she updated her words and said, ”It was your Sugar Daddy’s idea. He said you seemed a bit upset, so he came up with this idea to cheer you up.”

”James Black?” Jane Sampson was a little surprised.

”Surprised, aren’t you? He was worried you were unhappy, so he thought of ways to make you happy. So, little Jane, you should try to be a bit happier.” Brooke Black sighed, ”James Black is just a gloomy calabash; what he’s thinking in his heart, he might not say out loud, but he’ll definitely take action.”

Jane Sampson felt not only surprised but also touched.

When James Black asked her on WhatsAPP if she was a bit unhappy, she thought he was just asking as usual, so she answered honestly.

With James Black, Jane Sampson didn’t feel like hiding her true emotions, so however James Black asked, she answered accordingly.

But when she replied to James Black, she just wanted to playfully complain a little, not expecting James to do anything about it.

Yet, James Black did it quietly, and, he did it without meaning to take credit or mention it to her.

If she hadn’t asked Brooke Black a bit more today, this matter might have been resolved without her ever knowing what James Black had done for her.

”Auntie, thank you for telling me these things.” Jane Sampson’s voice was low, ”Otherwise, I would surely never know.”

”There are so many things you don’t know.” Brooke Black sighed, ”The shooting of the movie version of The President’s Wife is Not Human was also initiated by James Black. He initially thought Fiery Fanny could retrieve the TV series copyright, Swan Goose Entertainment could acquire the new copyright, and you could continue to play the female lead. James Black said you really like this drama.”

”It was because of James Black’s intention. At first, his intention wasn’t about making money, so the decision was made swiftly. Later on, after Swan Goose Entertainment’s professionals reviewed the script, they saw its potential, so they changed tactics.” Brooke Black continued, ”Jane, James Black really has your back at heart.”
