CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1658: Chapter 1666: The Will

The young nurse nodded shyly before leaving the ward.

In the Sampton Family, after leaving the cemetery, the relatives of the Sampton Family didn’t leave directly but followed Bright Sampton and others back to the rural courtyard to help tidy up.

As soon as everyone got out of the car, they saw a middle-aged man in a black suit standing at the doorway of the courtyard.

”Mr. Bright Sampton.” Lawyer Forest called out to Bright Sampton, ”I am Lawyer Forest.”

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately thought of Lawyer Forest from Twitter, and they couldn’t help but curiously stare at him.

”Sorry, I originally planned to personally see off the old lady, but unfortunately the flight was delayed, and I couldn’t catch up. I just arrived now.” Lawyer Forest expressed some regret, ”I have Old Madam Sampton’s will to announce here, and since all relatives and friends are present, let’s consider them witnesses.”

”Lawyer Forest, let’s speak inside.” Bright Sampton seemed to have matured overnight, his tone carried none of the childishness he used to have.

After inviting Lawyer Forest in, Bright Sampton personally poured a cup of boiling water for him.

Lawyer Forest thanked him and then took out a folder from his briefcase, saying, ”This is the will left by Old Madam Sampton while she was alive. According to the will, all of Old Madam Sampton’s inheritance is equally divided between Miss Jane Sampson and Mr. Bright Sampton.”

No one present was surprised by this will, especially Father Sampton, who didn’t even raise his eyelids.

After Old Sir Sampton passed away, Mother Sampton was only disappointed in him, so naturally, she wouldn’t leave anything to him.

”Mr. Bright Sampton, there is also a handwritten letter from your grandma for you. When Old Madam Sampton wrote the will, she also wrote two letters, one for you and one for Miss Jane Sampson. Later, I will go to the hospital to visit Miss Jane Sampson and deliver her letter.” Lawyer Forest took out the letter for Bright Sampton from the folder and handed it to him.

”Thank you, Lawyer Forest.” Bright Sampton put the letter away without hastily reading it, ”I’ll go to the hospital with you.”

After speaking, Bright Sampton turned to the nanny and said, ”Aunt, please tidy up in the house while I go to the hospital. I’ll come back later.”

The nanny nodded in agreement; having lived here for over ten years, likely there would be no chance to live here in the future.

She had emotions about the people who once lived here and the house itself.

Bright Sampton spoke briefly with the relatives before driving off with Lawyer Forest to the hospital where Jane Sampson was now.

At the hospital, although Jane Sampson had a high fever again, her spirits were noticeably better than yesterday. She was leaning on the sickbed and chatting with the nurse who came in.

Because of James Black’s initial instructions, none of the nurses mentioned anything about internet matters to Jane Sampson.

When Lawyer Forest and Bright Sampton arrived and saw Jane Sampson in good spirits, they were relieved.

Bright Sampton brought Lawyer Forest in and introduced Lawyer Forest’s identity, but didn’t mention anything about the video Lawyer Forest released last night. He had pre-arranged things on the road, so Lawyer Forest didn’t let it slip either.

Upon hearing the distribution of Granny Sampton’s will, Jane Sampson’s eyes welled up slightly.

When Granny Sampson was alive, she said she would leave the inheritance to her and Bright Sampton, but Jane Sampson never really took it seriously. Because Granny Sampton was ultimately Julie Sampton’s grandma, and Father Sampton’s biological mother.
