CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1669: Chapter 1677: Last Wish

In her lifetime, having been lonely and unsupported in the early years due to unfortunate encounters, she met a good benefactor in the later years, enough to overturn all the past hardships.

”Young Master, Miss, I can tend to the vegetable field alone, it’s no trouble. I can grow vegetables and send them to you in the city when there’s time. The vegetables grown in the village are healthier than those bought outside. Just tell me what you and the Miss want to eat, and I’ll grow them.” Aunt had this thought in her mind - to repay the Miss and Young Master well.

”Alright.” Bright Sampton nodded, and after Aunt wiped her tears and went into the kitchen, he then took out his mobile phone and called Jane Sampson.

Listening to the energetic ”Hello” from Jane Sampson on the phone, Bright Sampton couldn’t help but smile.

”Sister, listening to your voice, you sound full of spirit. You’re not sick anymore, right?” Bright Sampson asked.

”I’m good. I woke up this morning feeling vigorous.” Jane Sampson recounted her breakfast achievements to Bright Sampson, ”I can eat, I can sleep, and soon, I’ll gain the weight back.”

”Okay, then I’m waiting for you to gain weight. Last night, I saw your tweet; did brother-in-law really say he’d reward you for gaining a catty?”

”He did!” Jane Sampson boasted about this matter, ”I wonder what he’ll give me~ I’m so looking forward to it.”

The young siblings talked on the phone for about ten minutes. Hearing that Bright Sampton hadn’t rested last night, Jane Sampson kept urging her to sleep before hanging up the phone.

As Bright Sampton listened to the buzzing sound from the phone, he recalled Jane Sampson’s fiery nature returning, and couldn’t help but shake his head.

Returning to the room, Bright Sampton lay in the bed, reaching under the pillow to take out the handwritten letter Granny Sampton had written for him.

These few days, whenever he had time, he would take out this letter and read it.

Reminding himself that Grandma’s words were to be remembered at all times.

Grandma’s last wish was for his sister to find her biological parents, and she also hoped he could help his sister.

In this handwritten letter, Granny Sampton worried that one day when Jane Sampson found her biological parents, Bright Sampton would feel sad, hence she wrote a lot to reassure him.

She also stated that when Jane Sampson was to return to her parents, no one in the Sampton Family should stop her; this was her wish as a grandmother.

And she told Bright Sampton to take good care of his sister, Jane Sampson.

The human heart is changeable, and no one can promise a lifetime.

Including James Black, even Granny Sampton couldn’t dare to think for a lifetime.

Therefore, Granny Sampton wanted Bright Sampton to be the family Jane Sampson could rely on for a lifetime, someone who would never change.

Granny Sampton’s last wish was what Bright Sampton had always been trying to accomplish.

When Bright Sampton finished reading the letter, he felt very relieved because he saw Granny Sampton’s pure love for Jane Sampson, and he believed Jane Sampson would surely see it too.

At the guard team, Jane Sampson couldn’t sit still in the dormitory after browsing her mobile phone for a while. After changing clothes, she only brought her phone and went out.

Guard team members all knew Jane Sampson returned with James Black last night, so when Jane Sampson left the dormitory and met many team members, none of them were surprised; instead, they were particularly happy and greeted her warmly.

Perhaps because James Black had given instructions beforehand, no one stopped Jane Sampson when she headed towards the practice field.

However, she didn’t actually go in; instead, she stood outside the isolation belt, holding the guardrail, trying to spot James Black among a group of green figures.
