CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1680: Chapter 1688: Don’t Worry

James Black came out of the kitchen after washing the dishes and saw Mair Williams. He greeted her, ”I’m heading out, could you please look after her for me? Around 10:30 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon, help me check if her body temperature is normal.”

”I’m fine!” Jane Sampson stood there, fuming as she stomped her foot, ”I’m not some sick beautiful lady!”

Mair Williams agreed without question, ”Rest assured, leave your wife to me! I promise to complete the mission!”

James Black had to go out on guard duty today and wouldn’t be back by noon, so with Mair Williams there, he felt at ease.

Out on guard duty, Liam Woody sat in the co-pilot seat, Zane was driving, and James Black sat in the rear seat, twirling his mobile phone in his hand, hesitating over something.

It wasn’t until after a long time that he finally straightened the mobile phone he had been twirling for half an hour and sent a message to the psychologist.

Hello, I am Jane Sampson’s husband. I want to ask if it’s abnormal that she’s been overly clingy recently. — James.

The text message had been sent for less than a minute when the phone rang; it was Doctor Martin.

”Hello Mr. Black, I’m Doctor Martin. Previously, Mr. Peter Gingery brought Miss. Sampton to me for psychological help. You just asked me if Miss. Sampton’s recent clinginess is abnormal. Mr. Black, has Miss. Sampton been particularly clingy to you lately?”

James Black gave a slight noise of agreement, ”Yes.”

Normally, if there was a situation like last night where he had to be busy in the study, Jane Sampson would definitely play her mobile phone games alone in the bedroom, and sleep by herself when tired without needing his words, nor would she wait specifically for him to sleep.

Jane Sampson’s character is actually quite independent.

”If no other situation is occurring simultaneously, this can’t be considered abnormal. In this situation, Old Master Sampton and the old lady passed away not long after each other. These two were crucial relatives to Jane Sampson. To you, the elderly may have passed, but possibly in her heart, there might be a feeling of being abandoned. At this time, she would cling particularly to the person she trusts most, which is very natural.”

”Mr. Black, for now, don’t worry. Give Miss. Sampton a transitional period and time to accept. This kind of emotion should slowly heal with time. As her husband, also as the person she trusts most, at this time, just try to spend more time with her.”

”Miss. Sampton is actually very strong, maybe just give her a few more days.” Doctor Martin said, ”If you notice any other unusual emotions in Miss. Sampton, contact me. If necessary, then, I will personally visit Miss. Sampton to give her psychological guidance.”

”Alright.” James Black thanked him before hanging up the call.

Recalling what Doctor Martin said about spending more time with Jane Sampson, but he would be in the city district the whole day and not able to see her.

James Black thought that perhaps sending her a message would also work.

A few minutes later, Jane Sampson, who was chatting with Mair Williams in the dormitory, unexpectedly received a new WhatsAPP message from James Black.

I’m not home, you must eat well, absolutely not allowed to eat food you can’t eat, don’t play mobile phone games for too long, and let your eyes relax properly. — Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black.

Mair Williams noticed Jane Sampson rolling her eyes at her mobile phone, curiously leaning closer to ask, ”Let me see why you have that expression.”
