CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1677: Chapter 1685: Thank You Auntie

”The meaning from Swan Goose Entertainment over there is to decide as soon as possible, then implement the copyrights and start working as soon as possible. The entire filming team for the film, Swan Goose Entertainment is responsible for finalizing. Once the script is finalized, shooting will start immediately. If possible, try to air before the TV series.”

Brooke Black said, ”The idea from Swan Goose Entertainment is that to delay the progress of the TV series’ film crew, they are willing to spend a large amount of money to poach the male lead from over there.”

Now, that male lead was personally decided by Scriptwriter Fiery Fanny and the film crew back then. So, with Fiery Fanny’s vision, this male lead should not be a poor choice.

”Alright, then I’ll give you Fiery Fanny’s contact information and then call Sister Tin to let her talk with Swan Goose Entertainment.” Jane Sampson nodded repeatedly. She really likes this show, and back then, she even wrote a song specifically for this show.

Jane Sampson said, ”Fortunately, I haven’t had a chance to hand over the song to the film crew yet. If the movie succeeds, maybe the song I wrote can be used in the movie.”

”Okay, and there’s one more thing, if this cooperation is settled, your studio will have to come up with a considerable amount of funds, so you need to remember to contact your manager to first settle the matter of withdrawing significant funds,” Brooke Black reminded.

Jane Sampson’s studio has been established for half a year, and the studio’s account books may not have enough funds right now, so certainly, Jane Sampson and Rock Bell as two shareholders would need to invest more.

”Manager?” Jane Sampson slowly looked up at James Black and repeated, ”Manager?”

”Why are you looking at him? James Black doesn’t handle your money.” Brooke Black laughed in frustration, ”I’ve never seen anyone more clueless than you, not caring about money.”

Brooke Black took out a business card from her purse and handed it to Jane Sampson, ”I just knew you wouldn’t remember. This is your manager’s business card, take it, and remember to call him ahead of time. Otherwise, for such a large sum of money, it’s not something you can get right away just because you asked for it.”

”Thank you, auntie!” Jane Sampson took the business card and nodded repeatedly.

Brooke Black didn’t stay long with the guard team. After leaving James Black’s place, she went to see Peter Gingery and then left.

After eating, Jane Sampson told Rock Bell about what Brooke Black had just discussed with her.

”Alright, then I’ll get in touch with the President of Swan Goose Films right away.” Rock Bell’s approach to work has always been decisive. When it comes to decision-making matters, she runs it through her mind briefly, and she quickly has a pretty good answer in her heart about whether this matter can be done or not.

At four in the afternoon, James Black returned to the dormitory as usual to check Jane Sampson’s body temperature. Seeing no signs of fever and that Jane Sampson had woken up, he directly dragged her out of the dormitory.

Jane Sampson avoided Peter Gingery’s torture in the morning but couldn’t escape James Black’s in the afternoon.

After leaving the dormitory, James Black took her straight to the shooting range.

When many young team members saw Jane Sampson, they didn’t shout sister-in-law or Monkey King anymore. They just opened their mouths and said, ”Off-target Queen!”

Jane Sampson almost got so embarrassed and angry that she wanted to fight them.

After being tortured for one and a half hours, Jane Sampson, with her aching hands, arms, and shoulders, followed James Black to the dining hall. After eating, she returned to the dormitory, where she received a call from Fiery Fanny.

”Little Jane, thanks to you, I sold both my movie and anime copyrights all at once!”
