CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1588: Chapter 1596: It’s Not a Problem

Jane Sampson hugged Rock Bell back, ”Sister Tin, don’t worry, my heart is tough as steel, I’m strong enough not to be brought down by Lucy Brisk’s stuff.”

”That’s good, if you’re unhappy, you can go back to the guard team and ask your husband for comfort. Let him cheer you up, and you’ll be happy again.” Rock Bell gently patted Jane Sampson’s head, ”By the way, the film crew of ’The President’s Wife is Not Human’ insists on using a new script. The studio’s negotiations with the film crew have been futile, I’ve already contacted a lawyer, preparing to terminate the contract with them. Yes, I heard the original author is also haggling with the film crew. Fiery Fanny seems to say that if the film crew insists on breaching the contract and not following her script, she will also terminate her contract with them and retrieve her TV series adaptation rights.”

”Alright, during this time, Sister Tin, please help me select a script, whether it’s a TV movie or not. In any case, there’s still almost half a year until Mr. Carter’s movie starts filming.” Jane Sampson nodded.

As for that ’The President’s Wife is Not Human’ film crew, Jane Sampson really didn’t want to go there anymore, a film crew messed up by investors, who knows what troublesome things might happen in the future.

”Alright, I just received a few more scripts, I’ll help you sift through them first and then let you choose.” Rock Bell nodded, ”You just rest for another two days.”

If it were other artists, they’d fill this time with business notices or variety shows.

But Rock Bell knows the path that Jane Sampson wants to take is different.

”If there’s nothing else, I’ll head off. While I have time, I’ll visit grandma in the countryside.” Jane Sampson stood up, shaking the car keys in her hand, ”See you, Sister Tin.”

After leaving the studio, Jane Sampson first went to see Bright Sampton.

The guy didn’t go home, Father Sampton already cut off his financial support, as his sister, Jane Sampson would often go check on him at his base whenever she had time.

She’d buy him some snacks and give him a bit of pocket money.

Hearing that Jane Sampson was planning to visit grandma in the countryside, Bright Sampton couldn’t sit still, immediately asking his big boss for leave, and then dragged Jane Sampson along.

”I want to see grandma too. By the way, are you staying in the countryside tonight?” Bright Sampton got straight into the passenger seat, buckling his seatbelt while asking.

”I’ve got nothing on for the next two days, so I plan to stay in the countryside for one night and spend some time with grandma.” Jane Sampson said, ”If you’re in a hurry to get back tonight, I can drop you at a place where you can catch a car in the city district.”

”No need.” Bright Sampton shook his head, ”Then I’ll also stay in the countryside for one night, and come back together with you then.”

Bright Sampton patted his computer bag, ”I’ve got all my gear with me, and grandma also has broadband connected there. Training for a day or two in the countryside won’t be an issue.”

Speaking of which, Bright Sampton suddenly laughed, ”Sis, that gun, it was a gift from brother-in-law, right? A Valentine’s Day gift, huh~”

”Yeah.” Jane Sampson nodded, glancing at Bright Sampton, ”Why that expression? Please tone it down.”

”What did you give brother-in-law as a gift?” Bright Sampton asked nosily.

”Not telling you.” Jane Sampson thought of those two cards James Black had hidden who knows where.

While James Black wasn’t around, she had searched her dormitory but couldn’t find them.

Probably he took them with him or left them in his office?
