CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1551: Chapter 1559: I Really Do Know

Jane Sampson flipped through the first few pages of the topic and saw someone had taken photos of Julie going to the hospital for a prenatal checkup.

Seeing this, Jane thought for a moment and found Kane Forest’s phone number, dialing it directly.

Jane remembered that the Forest Family and Chip Family had business dealings, and Kane Forest and David Chip should have some contact. Kane Forest should know a bit about the Chip Family’s affairs.

When the call was answered, Jane first greeted Kane Forest, ”Mr. Forest, it’s me, Jane Sampson.”

”I know, I saved your number.” Kane Forest’s voice was calm, but he was still somewhat surprised that Jane would call him.

”Are you looking for me because of something?” Kane Forest asked.

”Hehe, when you ask like that, I feel a bit embarrassed, as if I’m the kind of person who only thinks of you when I have something.” Jane laughed playfully.

In Jane’s words, Kane Forest laughed along softly, and replied with a question, ”Aren’t you?”

The two had known each other for many years as friends on the internet, so their conversation was freely playful like that of old friends.

Jane admitted frankly without any psychological pressure, ”Alright, then I’m that kind of person! I called you because I wanted to inquire about David Chip’s affairs. The matter between Julie and David Chip has blown up so much, you must have heard of it, right? Do you know the Chip Family’s view on this matter concerning Julie?”

”View?” Kane Forest thought for a moment, choosing to put it in the simplest way.

”I really do know.” Kane Forest said. ”The fact that David Chip is a flirt is known throughout the Chip Family. Though the matter concerning Julie has blown up on the internet, in the Chip Family’s eyes, Julie is no different from those women David played with before. The only difference is Julie’s matter has blown up; the others didn’t. The Chip Family has never planned to pay attention to matters online, nor with Julie, but has forbidden David Chip from continuing his relationship with Julie.”

”The attitude of the Chip Family was as I expected.” Jane responded with a sound. From the beginning, Jane guessed the Chip Family would choose to let things go, not explain, not clarify, at most spend some money to suppress the heat and remove Julie and David Chip’s names from the hot search list.

”We all just learned about Julie’s pregnancy from the internet this morning. Both David Chip and the Chip Family thought that Julie herself had found someone to leak the news to press the Chip Family, hoping to leverage this child to marry into the Chip Family. Just now, David Chip called Julie and told her...”

Kane Forest cleared his throat and continued, ”Don’t fantasize about marrying him with just a child. He won’t marry Julie. There are plenty of women who can give birth in the world. He told Julie to be sensible and abort the child, withdraw the media reporters she bought off and then clarify on Twitter that the pregnancy is fake.”

”Were the Chip Family’s attitude the same after knowing about Julie’s pregnancy?” Jane was now somewhat surprised.

Jane had thought that in most wealthy family households, the seniors value bloodline inheritance greatly; the child in their eyes would be a precious treasure.

If it’s a son, even more so a golden nugget.

And David Chip wasn’t exactly young, at this time Julie being pregnant with David’s child, even if Julie couldn’t marry into the Chip Family, they should give Julie a large sum of money to have the child.
