Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 408: Chapter 239: Sinister (Nuonuo and Yanyan’s Birthday Bonus)

Luo Ye shook his head in disagreement: ”No, she still has some concerns. Think about the situation when she and Hang Menglin were practicing on the field.”

”Instructor, I don’t want you to let me win, I want to win with my own strength. Let’s do it again!” Yu Na’s shout stunned everyone.

Instructor Song, who had fallen to the ground, got up with an embarrassed look and sought help from Mo Datong.

Mo Datong gave him an unsatisfied glare, ”Continue!”

Instructor Song helplessly sparred with Yu Na again but didn’t let himself go like before, and in a few moves, he was flipped over by Yu Na.

”Yu Na, 10 minutes 57 seconds, 0 points!”

”Reporting!”

”Speak!”

Yu Na stood up straight: ”I know my score is low, but I earned it without any guilt. I am proud of my persistence. I hope the instructor will be strict with everyone in the upcoming training!”

Mo Datong nodded: ”Return to the ranks!”

”Reporting!”

”Speak!”

”Instructor, you didn’t answer my question just now. I think that since the rules are set, they should be executed properly. What does it mean when instructors go easy on us? Is that fair to all the students?”

Mo Datong frowned slightly: ”What, do you want to spar once more?”

”No, I just hope this won’t happen again. It negates my personal ability, and I don’t like that feeling.”

”Fine, return to the ranks!”

Xing Nong curled her lips: ”She’s clearly hinting that the instructors went easy on us.”

”Exactly, it’s her own fault for being last. Who can she blame?” Liang Xiaorao echoed.

Luo Ye quietly stopped the two: ”Enough, you both took advantage and should stop playing innocent. Regardless, her persistence today is genuinely undeniable.”

”She’s truly a disciple of the female Yama!” Xing Nong shrank her neck: ”The bloodstain on her buttocks is so clear, I wonder how she feels when she sees it.”

Luo Ye sighed softly: ”Let’s drop it. If not for her physical condition affecting her, she could have scored at least four points.”

For a moment, Luo Ye’s feelings were complicated. The ruthlessness shown by Yu Na at times was something she lacked. In this situation, she would certainly worry about face and wouldn’t be able to go all out, but who could clearly say who’s right and who’s wrong?

The male students’ sparring with the instructors was much more intense than the female students’. Each one of them was a skilled practitioner, including Wu Zetian, the noble family’s son, who also scored 2 points.

Zhan Hao, Liu Xing, Jing Feng, Yan Han, and Li Midong all scored 5 points. But Yan Han deserves special mention; his ruthlessness made the instructors tremble, a truly desperate fighting style. If the instructors weren’t experienced veterans, they might have been injured by him.

After all the sparring ended, Mo Datong stood in front of the team and announced the latest ranking changes for the top five: ”Zhan Hao 23 points, Yan Han 20 points, Luo Ye 17 points, Liu Xing 15 points, Ji Sisi 14 points.

...

After lunch, Yu Na calmly removed her dirty pants and went to the washroom, leaving the other female students to exchange looks. They were inwardly ashamed of their lack of her fortitude.

”Luoluo, Luoluo...” Xing Nong rushed in shouting: ”Come outside quickly, Zhan Hao and Yan Han are about to fight.”

”They started fighting?” Luo Ye quickly got up and headed outside: ”What’s the reason?”

Xing Nong shook her head: ”I don’t know, I just saw a bunch of boys shouting and unable to stop them, so I rushed to tell you.”

Sang Cao, Liang Xiaorao, Ji Sisi, and others also quickly followed. Everyone had witnessed Zhan Hao’s performance, so why would he fight with Yan Han?

By the time Luo Ye and others reached the open space, Zhan Hao and Yan Han were already exchanging blows. Zhan Hao was naturally superior to Yan Han, but Yan Han’s reckless fighting style made it hard for him to win immediately.

”What’s going on?” Luo Ye asked as he moved next to Liu Xing.

”After lunch, Yan Han was showing off his medal again. Zhan Hao told him to put it away, but he didn’t listen. After some verbal confrontation, he said if Yan Han dared to spar with him alone and win, he would put it away; otherwise, he should stop meddling. Zhan Hao was provoked, so he accepted the challenge,” Liu Xing sighed: ”Yan Han is not bad, he seems to have a deep-seated prejudice against the sons of noble families. He purposely resists Zhan Hao, I can feel it.”

”He’s not just rebelling against the noble family’s sons, but against all those with higher status who scored better than him. In his view, these people rely on their family’s protection. Only he climbed up through his own true abilities,” Luo Ye frowned: ”His attacks are too vicious. Zhan Hao is clearly letting him win.”

As they spoke, Yan Han was knocked to the ground by Zhan Hao. Zhan Hao reached out towards Yan Han: ”I wanted to spar with you so you understand my strength, and know that those five points weren’t just handed to me.”

”Of course, I know...” Yan Han reached towards Zhan Hao, a flash of ferocity in his eyes, and while still lying on the ground, his body spun and he kicked towards Zhan Hao’s lower body. Zhan Hao quickly dodged the attack but was caught squarely on the back of his leg, falling hard to the ground.

Luo Ye quickly rushed to Zhan Hao’s side to help him up: ”How are you?”

Zhan Hao moved his leg and sighed in relief: ”I’m fine, I was fast enough, it’s just a flesh wound.”

”Cowardly!”

”Sneaky!”

”...”

Listening to the mixed opinions of the crowd, Yan Han’s face turned red: ”In fighting, using strategy is not reviled!”

Nu’an needs to apologize to Nuonuo, a month ago, you told Nu’an the day of the birthday. It’s not that Nu’an didn’t value it or save drafts, various issues kept me busy, and I could only write Nuam’s extra story when I found the time. I wanted to post it last night, but thought better of it and decided to wait until today. Unfortunately, there were network issues this morning, so Nuam couldn’t post it and only did so in the afternoon. Thus, the draft for Military Makeup had to be written now.

Yanyan, I didn’t get to celebrate your birthday, I just hope you’re safe! (To be continued. For more of the story, please visit www.. More Chapters, support the author, support genuine reading!)
