Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

24: Chapter 24 Billions in Short Selling? Descendants of the DragonFollowing the announcement from Future Auto, this news spread overseas.

Upon learning that Future Auto was about to equip its vehicles with a high-end chip called a ’Brain-like Chip’, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the United States couldn’t help but ridicule them.

Currently, there is only one type of the most advanced high-end chip in the world.

That is the 1nm Chip from Qualcomm!

This chip is exactly what is currently installed in most high-end smart devices globally.

They had never heard of any country developing a more advanced chip.

The Dragon Kingdom!

It was no exception!

Lawton, the Minister of Science and Technology of the United States and a top-tier scientist, retweeted the message about Future Auto announcing the release of high-end intelligent driving vehicles and replied:

”I heard your company has created a Brain-like Chip out of thin air that far surpasses the 1nm Chip?”

”Coincidentally, our Ministry of Science and Technology will be showcasing an intelligent mecha named ’Soul of God’ at the World Intelligent Technology Expo in a week, and this intelligent mecha is equipped with the 1nm Chip developed by our country’s Qualcomm.”

”I wonder if your company can launch an intelligent mecha equipped with a Brain-like Chip?”

As soon as this reply was posted, countless netizens flooded Future Auto’s Weibo.

”The Ministry of Science and Technology of the United States is here to slap your face. Wu, do you still dare to stick your face out?”

”The Minister of Science and Technology from the world’s number one power has come to slap your face. This is truly embarrassing!”

”It’s truly embarrassing! I suggest Future Auto stop talking nonsense in the future. I can’t even hold my head up while abroad now.”

Wu Xiaopeng of Future Auto naturally saw the words from the Minister of Science and Technology of the United States.

He frowned. He only intended to equip cars with the Brain-like Chip.

How could he launch an intelligent mecha equipped with a Brain-like Chip?

Just as he was frowning, Longke Academy suddenly posted on Weibo.

”I heard that Mr. Lawton from the United States hopes to compete with our country’s intelligent mecha equipped with a Brain-like Chip?”

”Coincidentally! Our academy has just developed a brand-new intelligent mecha. Let us wait and see!”

With Longke Academy entering the fray, the netizens instantly became even more heated.

If it had just been Future Auto announcing that they had a high-end chip far superior to the 1nm Chip, everyone would still have felt a lack of confidence.

But now that Longke Academy had entered the field and was directly confronting the Minister of Science and Technology of the United States, they didn’t seem timid at all!

Everyone instantly felt more confident.

”Longke Academy has spoken. Haters, just wait to get your faces slapped!”

However, those cynical people were still not optimistic: ”Is Longke Academy not worried about getting their faces slapped by rushing into this? If they embarrass themselves at the World Intelligent Technology Expo, it will be irreparable!”

For a time, the two sides were at loggerheads.

Just as discussions were happening on domestic Weibo and international Facebook about whether the Brain-like Chip that the Dragon Kingdom was about to launch existed, and whether it could compete with the United States’ 1nm Chip,

Ms. Thatcherong of Wall Street was reading the latest Newton Times.

Seeing the report, a trace of mockery appeared on her face.

As the Queen of Finance on Wall Street, her intelligence network was very well-informed.

She knew about everything, even who was having an affair!

But this time, she hadn’t received any news at all about whether Longke Academy had created a Brain-like Chip that surpassed the 1nm Chip.

This meant that this matter was basically just hearsay!

”I originally intended to short the Dragon Kingdom’s leading new energy enterprise by having Qualcomm cut off the chip supply to Future Auto.”

”Now it’s even better!”

”I just need to wait for the Soul of God to take action and suppress the Dragon Kingdom’s Brain-like Chip!”

”Future Auto, which claims to be equipped with some Brain-like Chip, will naturally see its stock price plummet!”

Thinking of this, a ruthless smirk appeared on Ms. Thatcherong’s lips.

She instructed the butler: ”Continue to short Future Auto! Five billion US dollars!”

”Ms. Thatcherong, you already shorted one billion US dollars of Future Auto last time,” the butler couldn’t help but remind her.

Last time, after Ms. Thatcherong colluded with Qualcomm and announced the cut-off of chips to Future Auto, she had already shorted five hundred million US dollars.

Currently, she had a floating profit of several hundred million.

However, Ms. Thatcherong was not satisfied at all.

She said arrogantly: ”What is a few hundred million US dollars? Continue to short! I want to completely kill this Future Auto!”

Since the Dragon Kingdom wouldn’t give her face and insisted on arresting her son, she would short Future Auto to death!

”Yes, ma’am.”

The butler had no choice but to continue instructing the traders to increase the stakes and short Future Auto.

...

Inside Longke Academy, eighteen academicians, over forty top-tier experts, and over sixty senior researchers were currently in a large testing ground, continuously testing an intelligent mecha.

This intelligent mecha was in human form.

It looked only two meters tall!

But its interior was extremely precise.

Not only was it equipped with the latest version of the Brain-like Chip 2.0, but it also carried dozens of high-end technologies such as the most advanced high-efficiency intelligent combat system, character model locking, robotic arm motion construction, N-type alloy materials, and more.

”Jiang Chen, you’ve worked hard during this time.”

”If you’re tired, you can go back and rest for a while.”

In the crowd, Xia Zhongxun, with panda eyes, walked up to Jiang Chen, who was monitoring the experimental data in front of the computer, and patted him on the shoulder.

Xia Zhongxun had only stayed up for half the night and was already feeling unable to take it.

But Jiang Chen had stayed here for a day and a night without even going home.

Yet, he still looked very energetic.

Jiang Chen turned around and smiled: ”Don’t worry, Academician Xia. I’m young and in good spirits. Besides, the combat data for this intelligent mecha is about to come out. I’ll wait a little longer!”

As he spoke, the computer printed out dozens of pages of experimental data.

He quickly picked up the data to look at it.

After just one glance, he let out a long breath: ”It’s more than enough to crush the United States’ Soul of God.”

The combat power of this optimized intelligent mecha was more than three times stronger than the previous Brain-like Dolphin.

Therefore!

Unless the United States’ Soul of God could establish a combat system more powerful than the Brain-like Dolphin, it would be impossible for it to be a match for the intelligent mecha in front of them!

”Good! Good! Everyone, what name should we give this intelligent mecha?” Xia Zhongxun nodded excitedly after reading the experimental data.

In fact, he couldn’t help but ask everyone for name suggestions.

The previous Brain-like Dolphin was too rough and was just an initial version, so it didn’t have a name.

But this intelligent mecha incorporated many near-perfect high-end technologies and was the result of everyone’s hard work.

It was time to give it a name.

”Dragon Boat?”

”Little Dragon Person?”

”Longke No. 1?”

”Descendant of the Dragon.”

Suddenly, the last name rushed into everyone’s minds.

Descendant of the Dragon.

Endless and unceasing!

Never easily defeated!

This meaning perfectly corresponded to the suppression from Qualcomm of the United States.

Xia Zhongxun’s eyes lit up, and he clapped his hands loudly on the spot!

”What a great name, Descendant of the Dragon! Let’s name it that!”

”By the way, who just said this name?”
