Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

4: Chapter 4 Welcomes the Aircraft Carrier to Uphold Justice”Hahaha, I’m saved, I’m saved!”

Seeing the aircraft carrier fleet speeding from the west, Jiang Chen laughed loudly.

He didn’t know that the Dragon Cry aircraft carrier fleet was there to protect him.

But at this moment...

A immense sense of security welled up in his heart!

Even if this was still the high seas!

Even if the Philippines’ warship formation was still chasing him not far to the east!

But the huge stone in his heart was finally lifted.

With an aircraft carrier here, what the hell was there to fear!

”Keep chasing, keep chasing!”

”If you’re not afraid of being smashed to pieces, then keep chasing me!”

Jiang Chen shouted smugly at the Aegis Destroyer several times.

Then...

At full power, he sped past the front of the aircraft carrier fleet.

Heading north all the way!

Meanwhile, the Dragon Cry aircraft carrier fleet continued from west to east, heading straight for the Philippines’ warships!

At this moment, the Aegis Destroyer was already very close to the pearl river 888.

As long as they chased for a little bit further, it would be enough to catch him.

But just then...

The deputy beside him suddenly said to Commander Fikeli, ”Sir, we can’t chase any further. If we go any further, we’ll be in China’s territorial waters!”

”What’s there to fear! Catch the person first, and we’ll just say it was a misunderstanding afterward!”

Commander Fikeli said with an arrogant and indifferent face.

But just then, a sailor ran over in a panic, ”This is bad, this is bad, Commander! We’ve observed a Chinese destroyer rushing towards us!”

”A single destroyer? Heh, delusional China, actually thinking they can fight six against one?”

Commander Fikeli sneered, about to proceed at full speed.

Another sailor came in a hurry, ”This is bad, this is bad, Commander! We’ve observed two Chinese destroyers charging towards us!”

”Two?”

Commander Fikeli was startled.

But seeing everyone looking at him, he calmed down again. ”Just two, what’s there to fear? Behind us is the great United States!”

”Could it be that evil China wants to make enemies of the two great maritime overlords?”

Just as he finished speaking...

A third sailor rushed in, crawling and rolling, ”This is bad, this is bad, we’ve observed...”

”Get out! How many have you actually observed!”

Commander Fikeli was exasperated. He snatched the binoculars and looked toward the west himself.

With this look, the binoculars in his hand almost fell to the ground.

Holy shit!

What ’one or two’!

Are you all blind?!

That was clearly an entire aircraft carrier fleet! There were five destroyers alone, and their size was on the same scale as his own flagship!

Just at that moment...

They also received a radio transmission from the Dragon Cry.

[Aegis Destroyer, Aegis Destroyer, this is Dragon Cry, this is Dragon Cry. Our side is conducting a navigation mission in these waters. Please clear the area, please clear the area. Acknowledge when received!!!]

”What do we do, Commander? Do we still chase?”

Everyone around looked at Commander Fikeli with nervous expressions.

They definitely couldn’t win a fight. There was no United States aircraft carrier behind them. They could only barely show off their might by bullying a small Chinese fishing boat...

Commander Fikeli kicked them away. ”Chase what? Our Aegis Destroyer loves peace and the ocean. Why would we chase an ordinary small fishing boat!”

After scolding them, he respectfully picked up the radio and said in clear Chinese...

”Aegis Destroyer copies. Aegis Destroyer copies. We welcome the great Chinese aircraft carrier to patrol these high seas and maintain justice!”

”On behalf of the Philippines, I would like to pay the highest respect to the Dragon Cry!”

After saying that!

He hurriedly hung up the radio and shouted at his stunned subordinates.

”Pass down the order!”

”Return to base!”

”Return to base!”

A few seconds later...

The several warships of the Aegis Destroyer fleet braked collectively.

Then...

With a bizarre Thomas-spin-like maneuver, they turned around and fled.

Meanwhile...

On the Dragon Cry aircraft carrier.

In the command room, Commander Long Xiaotian had just put down the radio.

He was preparing for a confrontation with the other side.

He didn’t expect that the other side would just turn tail and run.

”As expected!”

”Justice only exists within the range of an aircraft carrier’s firepower!”

Long Xiaotian smiled slightly. With a straight posture and piercing eyes, he wore nine stars on his shoulders—a true, Supreme Sea God.

”Reporting to the Commander, the pearl river 888 is heading north. Should we track it?”

A subordinate reported.

Long Xiaotian picked up his binoculars and took a look. This pearl river 888 had actually slipped away three nautical miles in just that short moment.

He smiled. According to the SSSSS classified telegram sent by the Naval Department Base, they were to escort this fishing boat and the items on board back to shore together.

However...

An aircraft carrier couldn’t turn that quickly.

So he ordered, ”Let the Dragon Protector, Wei Long, and Zhan Long take the Armed Helicopters and catch up first. We will follow shortly!”

”Yes, sir!”

As the words fell...

The aircraft carrier turned slowly.

While the three destroyers and three Early Warning Aircraft flicked their tails like divine dragons, turning back to chase after the pearl river 888.

...

”This feels great!”

”It’s a pity I slipped away too fast just now and didn’t even get a photo together!”

Jiang Chen sat on the fishing boat, exclaiming with satisfaction, though he felt a bit of regret in his heart.

At this moment!

He had already left that area of the sea.

He didn’t know if the aircraft carrier fleet was in a standoff with the Philippines’ warships.

”The patrol boat probably won’t be able to find me.”

Jiang Chen looked around. He had already deviated from the position he reported earlier.

Thinking of this!

He dialed the number for the Maritime Patrol Department again.

”Hello? Maritime Patrol Department? Where has the patrol boat you sent out reached?”

Jiang Chen was worried the patrol boat wouldn’t find him, so he simply called back.

”pearl river 888, please observe your surroundings promptly. Our side has dispatched an aircraft carrier to meet you!”

The other side replied.

Clatter.

The device in Jiang Chen’s hand almost fell.

”Holy shit!”

”So that aircraft carrier was here to meet me?!”

”The badass was me all along!”

Jiang Chen quickly stopped the fishing boat and then picked up his binoculars to look behind him.

Sure enough...

On the horizon...

Three destroyers were rushing toward him.

There were also several Early Warning Aircraft in the sky.

”This level of prestige, tsk tsk!”

While Jiang Chen was happily waiting for the destroyers to arrive...

To the east...

A few hundred meters away...

A Luxury Cruise Ship as tall as a ten-story building was sailing toward him.

On the cruise ship, several rich heirs were living it up with a group of bikini-clad influencers.
