Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

21: Chapter 21 The Powerful Brain-like DolphinsInside Longke Academy.

Jiang Chen had been interning here for almost a week.

During this week.

Except for the first day, when he and Xia Zhongxun spent almost the entire day touring Longke Academy.

Afterwards, he had been following Xia Zhongxun around, visiting and learning.

Originally!

Everyone thought that Xia Zhongxun was just providing an internship opportunity for this kid.

But slowly.

Everyone began to feel that something was off.

Because from the way this kid Jiang Chen spoke, it was clear he not only understood some experiments regarding Brain-like Chips.

He also understood the system architecture of intelligent mecha combat.

Even!

He even understood the niche field of CFD character modeling!

”Are you sure this kid is an undergraduate from Ocean University?!”

”Even the old timers who have been researching at Longke Academy for years might not be as outstanding as him!”

Everyone began to realize that Xia Zhongxun’s arrangements might have a deeper meaning!

However.

Everyone here was involved in scientific research, and Jiang Chen’s identity didn’t matter.

What mattered was that he could contribute.

That was the most important thing.

Slowly.

Everyone stopped treating Jiang Chen as an intern and instead saw him as a researcher capable of working with them as an equal!

On this day!

Jiang Chen was in a large testing facility.

Inside this testing facility, there was a large aquarium.

The exterior of the aquarium was made of alloy glass. Despite its transparency, it was actually impossible for a 10cm caliber cannon to blast it open.

Inside the aquarium, a smart dolphin with glowing red eyes was swimming freely.

This dolphin was the very one Jiang Chen had captured in the southern waters earlier.

Since it was handed over to Longke Academy.

Aside from being studied, this dolphin was kept in the aquarium, with cameras observing its behavior, data, and performance 24 hours a day.

And everything was recorded one by one.

But today.

Xia Zhongxun and a group of other senior officials from Longke Academy had gathered in this testing facility.

Because they intended to release a new smart dolphin into it.

This smart dolphin was created by integrating dozens of high-end technologies, including Brain-like Chips, intelligent mecha high-efficiency combat systems, CFD character model tracking and capture systems, and more.

Although it was only the first generation version.

It was, after all, the hard work of everyone at Longke Academy!

Today.

They intended to have this smart dolphin compete against the United States’ smart dolphin to see which one performed better!

”Little Jiang, do you think the United States’ red-eyed dolphin is more powerful?”

”Or is the Brain-like Dolphin produced by our Longke Academy more powerful?”

In the crowd.

Xia Zhongxun looked expectantly at the preparations being made by the researchers around the aquarium, then turned to Jiang Chen with great interest.

Speaking of which.

Although most of the experimental work and construction of this Brain-like Dolphin was driven by Longke Academy.

90% of the principles and ideas behind it were provided by Jiang Chen!

He.

He should be very confident in what he provided.

Jiang Chen smiled: ”This Brain-like Dolphin is currently just an early version. Even if it can’t win, it can be upgraded.”

”However, this red-eyed dolphin has been captured for so long that its performance seems to have declined. Defeating it should be more than enough!”

Jiang Chen made his judgment!

Xia Zhongxun nodded repeatedly, having his own thoughts.

”Dean Xia, everything is ready!”

Above the aquarium, several researchers were holding a Brain-like Dolphin, preparing to release it into the water.

”Good! Release it!”

Following Dean Xia’s order.

With a splash.

The Brain-like Dolphin was released into the water.

In an instant, it was activated.

Its eyes glowed with blue light.

It swam in the water.

And in the water, there were 360-degree high-definition cameras with no blind spots!

They transmitted the footage onto the large electronic screen in the testing facility.

As soon as the Brain-like Dolphin entered the water.

The red-eyed dolphin immediately caught sight of its opponent.

And the Brain-like Dolphin also locked onto the red-eyed dolphin.

Both sides began to circle each other in the water.

From the outside, they looked just like two living dolphins.

But the researchers on site remained silent, knowing that these were two combat-type dolphins.

They were about to erupt into a battle!

Sure enough.

After circling each other for just over a dozen seconds!

They suddenly launched an attack.

The red-eyed dolphin flicked its tail violently, lunging at the Brain-like Dolphin in an extremely strange gliding posture.

The Brain-like Dolphin reacted very quickly. Upon detecting the attack, it dived rapidly, skillfully avoiding the opponent’s attack while fiercely thrusting upwards!

”Ooh!”

The red-eyed dolphin actually emitted electromagnetic sound waves, trying to interfere with the Brain-like Dolphin’s signal transmission.

Fortunately, the Brain-like Dolphin also had a similar anti-interference device inside its body.

Both sides continued to tangle with each other!

After a full ten minutes.

Some parts began to float inside the aquarium.

Some of these parts had fallen off the red-eyed dolphin.

Some had fallen off the Brain-like Dolphin.

But at this moment, they were still locked in a fight to the death, struggling with each other!

”Bang!”

Suddenly.

The red-eyed dolphin couldn’t dodge in time and was fiercely slammed into the aquarium glass by the Brain-like Dolphin with lightning speed.

The red-eyed dolphin let out a weak cry, slowly sliding to the bottom of the water, with no ability left to fight.

The Brain-like Dolphin swam in the aquarium like a hero.

As if this was its territory.

”Wow!”

”Clap, clap, clap, clap!”

Thunderous applause suddenly erupted at the scene.

”The Brain-like Dolphin is indeed superior!”

Everyone couldn’t help but shout excitedly.

Nearly half a month of concerted effort and staying up late to work overtime had finally defeated the United States’ red-eyed dolphin!

This marked a perfect success story for our country in fields like Brain-like Chips, intelligent mecha combat systems, and more!

”Little Jiang, a part of this honor belongs to you.”

”From today on, Little Jiang is a senior researcher at our Longke Academy.”

Although Xia Zhongxun had long anticipated this moment, he still couldn’t help but excitedly announce it to everyone.

Originally.

Based on his judgment, there would have been no problem with Jiang Chen becoming an expert directly.

But to avoid shocking everyone, he chose a position one level lower.

However.

Even at a position one level lower, everyone was still stunned.

”A part of this honor belongs to Jiang Chen?” Some top-tier experts looked at Jiang Chen, then at Xia Zhongxun, as if they had realized something.

Xia Zhongxun had delayed announcing the identity of the previous anonymous contributor due to confidentiality reasons.

Could it be...

Some top-tier experts looked at each other, seeing shock on each other’s faces!

But after the shock came more relief and excitement.

If the youth are strong, the country is strong!

Having such an excellent young person join Longke Academy is absolutely a blessing for the country!

”Dean Xia, isn’t this too fast?”

Qin Guohua, who was standing to the side, was dumbfounded.

He had been working for so many years to become a senior researcher, and his son-in-law had only been here for a short while before being promoted to the same level as him.

Xia Zhongxun smiled, patted Qin Guohua on the shoulder, and said: ”Old Qin, this isn’t fast at all. If you don’t believe me, you can discuss CFD character modeling with Little Jiang more. He really knows no less than you!”

”That is indeed true…” Qin Guohua rubbed his chin and muttered to himself, ”So, I’ve found a treasure?”

”It’s more than a treasure, Old Qin. If you don’t want this son-in-law, give him to me. My daughter is only thirty-three this year, just right to hold three gold bricks!”

Xia Zhongxun started poaching him.

Upon hearing this, Qin Guohua quickly grabbed Jiang Chen and said anxiously: ”Old Xia, you’re not being kind. My daughter is only twenty-three, much younger than yours. Besides, Little Jiang and my daughter have a foundation of feelings!”

”Hahahaha!”

Everyone laughed.

Just as the testing facility was filled with laughter.

A researcher suddenly rushed over.

”Dean Xia, Chairman Wu from Future Auto says he has something urgent to talk to you about!”
