Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

10: Chapter 10 Protection List, Contacting PiratesIn the hall, everyone cast their gazes over.

Minister Wang Feng sighed helplessly, ”Dean Xia, I told you to keep your voice down.”

Xia Zhongxun lowered his voice, but his old face was still full of disbelief, ”Isn’t this Jiang Chen? How could it be him?”

”Actually!”

”When Jiang Chen first caught the intelligent dolphin, the Naval Department Base and the Longan Department had already placed him on the Grade A Protection List.”

”Not to mention, after he caught the Brain-like Mecha this time, the United States satellite tracked the pearl river 888, and the Philippines warship chased him on the high seas...”

Minister Wang Feng’s expression was grave.

The bionic dolphin from the United States, the chase by the Philippines warship, the tracking by the United States satellite, the Brain-like Mecha...

Placing him on the Grade S Protection List was naturally a matter of course.

Upon hearing this, Xia Zhongxun was completely dumbfounded!

After all, he did not know about the Philippines warship and the satellite tracking.

”I thought Jiang Chen was just an ordinary fisherman...”

He never expected that there were such thrilling twists and turns behind it.

”An ordinary fisherman? Heh, how could an ordinary fisherman write an academic manuscript of this level?”

”Dean Xia, remember this: he is now on the Grade S Protection List. Apart from you, you cannot reveal this to anyone else!”

When Minister Wang Feng said this, his eyes were full of envy.

Those on the Grade S Protection List not only have the care of the Longan Department, the Information Department, and other departments on land, but also have at least a destroyer escorting them when they go out to sea.

A destroyer! Just hearing that sounds so cool!

”I understand.”

Xia Zhongxun nodded.

...

While Jiang Chen was being placed on the Grade S Protection List.

The news of Young Master Liu being imprisoned also reached Wall Street on the other side of the ocean.

Inside a luxurious Gothic building.

A middle-aged man with a beard was chatting and laughing with a dignified and elegant woman.

The middle-aged man was named Liu Junan.

He was a top-tier capitalist in the Dragon Kingdom, controlling assets in the hundreds of billions!

And the woman was his wife, Ms. Thatcherong.

Don’t underestimate Ms. Thatcherong just because she is a woman; her influence on Wall Street is immense!

When she speaks, the financial markets of some small countries tremble.

Therefore.

Even Liu Junan had to be polite in front of his wife.

”Junan, I have already received definitive news from the Black Palace.”

”In order for Tesla to dominate the global high-end smart car market, the Black Palace has decided to have Qualcomm cut off the supply of 1nm Chips to Future Auto in the Dragon Kingdom.”

Ms. Thatcherong swirled her wine glass and spoke in a dignified and elegant manner.

Upon hearing this, Liu Junan looked happy and said, ”That’s wonderful! Shorting Future Auto of the Dragon Kingdom in the financial market this time will definitely make us hundreds of billions easily!”

The global assets they both controlled added up to as much as a trillion RMB.

With the news in advance, wouldn’t shorting Future Auto, which was about to have its chips cut off, be an easy way to make a hundred billion?

”Come, Cheers! Here’s to our early success.”

”Cheers!”

The two toasted.

Just then, a butler dressed in a Tang suit rushed over.

”Mr. Liu!”

”Ms. Thatcherong!”

”Something has happened.”

Ms. Thatcherong waved her hand, ”It’s fine, speak slowly.”

The butler hurriedly said, ”Young Master has been arrested.”

”Huh? What trouble has Young Master Liu gotten into this time?”

Liu Junan raised an eyebrow, but didn’t pay much attention!

Last time, Young Master Liu assaulted a female university student, and afterwards, he only had to pay some money.

Ms. Thatcherong also said nonchalantly, ”This kid, he really doesn’t put one’s mind at ease. Tell us, what trouble did he get into this time?”

”The people who arrested him are from the Ministry of Oceans.”

The butler said somewhat nervously.

According to the news from the country, Young Master Liu seems to have hit a hard target this time.

The Ministry of Oceans?

As soon as these two words were spoken, both Liu Junan and Ms. Thatcherong frowned.

They both put down their wine glasses.

”Tell us in detail, how did that kid offend the Ministry of Oceans?”

If it were just an ordinary person, it would be fine; at worst, we could just pay money.

Even if money couldn’t solve it, we could manipulate things from behind the scenes.

But if he provoked a tough nut like the Ministry of Oceans, it would be difficult to handle.

”It’s like this: the Young Master was on a cruise ship in the southern high seas the day before yesterday.”

”During that time, he encountered a fishing boat. The Young Master, on a whim, used a water gun to blast someone into the sea.”

”Although the person didn’t die, something on the boat, we don’t know what, fell into the sea...”

”The Dragon Cry sent people directly to catch up and took the Young Master away.”

”He is currently being held in a maximum-security prison.”

”According to news from some friends in the country, the Young Master seems to have violated a Grade S state secret and may now face more than ten years of imprisonment!”

After the butler finished speaking, he already noticed that Liu Junan and Ms. Thatcherong’s faces were somewhat ugly.

A Grade S state secret?

Ten years of imprisonment?

How is it so serious?!

”A fishing boat?”

”What fell into the sea?”

Both of them asked back simultaneously.

The butler shook his head, ”We haven’t found out yet, but it’s said to be very important.”

”Keep asking! I want to see what kind of damned thing can make my son face ten years in prison!”

Ms. Thatcherong looked dissatisfied. Although her husband Liu Junan was a Dragon Kingdom national, she and her son were foreign nationals, and she was unhappy about Long Xiaotian arresting her son.

Liu Junan added, ”Check the information on that fishing boat and its owner as well!”

”Yes, check the fishing boat too,” Ms. Thatcherong also said.

”Understood!”

Just one hour later.

A pile of detailed documents and information was delivered to their hands.

”Fishing boat: pearl river 888.”

”Owner: Jiang Chen. Graduated from Zhujiang Ocean University, currently 24 years old, parents are deceased, currently makes a living by fishing, has a girlfriend studying at Zhujiang Medical University...”

Ms. Thatcherong looked it over, and Jiang Chen’s background was very simple.

There was nothing special about it.

She frowned, ”How can such an ordinary person be linked to a Grade S state secret?!”

”It seems we still have to start inquiring from the Ministry of Oceans.”

Liu Junan shook his head; this fisherman was just an ordinary person. If they really wanted to know what fell off the boat, they would have to find out from the aircraft carrier side.

Ms. Thatcherong nodded and put down the documents.

But after thinking about it, she unwillingly picked the documents back up. Looking at Jiang Chen’s photo on the documents, she snorted, ”If it weren’t for this kid, my son wouldn’t have been arrested.”

”Junan, go and make the arrangements.”

”We can’t let him live so comfortably.”

Ms. Thatcherong was full of desire for revenge.

Although she was confident that she could eventually get her son out, the thought that such an ordinary fisherman had caused her son to face imprisonment made a flash of resentment cross her eyes.

”Rest assured, I will make the arrangements.”

Liu Junan looked at Jiang Chen’s profile for a while.

He graduated from Ocean University and made a living by fishing, going out to sea every once in a while.

His girlfriend was at the Medical University, and he would visit her whenever he had free time.

So.

Let’s start from these two points.

Thinking this, Liu Junan first made a phone call.

”Mr. Liu, is there anything you need me to do?”

On the other end of the phone was a pirate from the southern seas of the Kidney-Stealing Country. After receiving Liu Junan’s call, he asked with an excited face.

This Liu Junan was a big capitalist in the Dragon Kingdom, very generous, and surely had something good to offer.
