Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

2: Chapter 2 Emergency Call to Dragon RoarThe Philippines.

On the boundless, azure high seas, a massive warship was sailing majestically across the water.

This was the Philippines’ strongest ace warship: the Aegis Destroyer!

It was 150 meters long, 16 meters high, had a displacement of 50,000 tons, and its hull was equipped with 17,000 tons of protective armor, capable of withstanding multiple attacks from torpedoes and aerial bombs; the entire warship carried over a thousand people!

”Aside from the Dragon Kingdom, my Philippines is probably the strongest maritime hegemon in this southern sea area!”

”Hehe! Tell me, who else is there! Who else!”

In the warship’s command room, Commander Fikeli was sitting with his legs crossed, sipping foreign liquor while gazing out at the sea, his face full of pride.

But just then, a satellite phone call startled him.

”Captain! Captain! An emergency call from the United States.”

A subordinate rushed over.

Commander Fikeli shuddered in surprise, quickly stood up, straightened his posture, and respectfully took the device.

”Fishing boat, pearl river 888.”

”Location: 115 degrees east longitude, latitude...”

”Personnel on board: one person.”

”Please ensure you intercept the target and capture him onto your ship!”

”Afterwards, the United States will definitely reward you handsomely!”

”Anders Dande?”

A series of orders came from the other end.

Following that, a series of location coordinates and image data were transmitted over.

”Yes, yes, yes, we will do our utmost to catch this brat!”

Commander Fikeli hurriedly assured the caller on the satellite phone.

After the call ended.

Commander Fikeli regained his arrogant expression: ”A mere Dragon Kingdom fisherman, daring to offend the great United States!”

Commander Fikeli snorted coldly and ordered everyone, ”Turn southwest! Intercept this fishing boat named pearl river 888!”

As soon as the order was given!

The massive warship quickly turned around and then sailed rapidly in a high-spirited manner toward the southwest!

Behind it, five frigates followed closely, creating a massive momentum.

So much so that the Philippine fishermen nearby, upon seeing this formation, were all excited.

”The Philippines is awesome!”

”The Philippines is number one!”

Meanwhile.

Just as the Philippine warships were mobilizing on a large scale.

At the Dragon Kingdom’s Maritime Patrol Department, on the large monitoring screen.

Many red light dots suddenly appeared!

These red dots were heading southwest at an extremely fast speed.

”Huh, has the Philippines had any drills recently?”

Chen Dahai, the person in charge of the Maritime Patrol Department, looked at these red dots that had suddenly mobilized en masse, furrowed his brows, and asked with a puzzled expression.

”No!”

”Could it be an emergency drill?”

The hundreds of operators in the hall all shook their heads.

Whether it was public news or private information, no one seemed to have heard of such a thing.

However, just then, a female operator in the corner stood up and reported hurriedly: ”Report to Director Chen, this southwest direction seems to be the location of pearl river 888!”

”pearl river 888? Is that the fishing boat that caught a dolphin last time?”

Upon hearing this, Chen Dahai immediately remembered.

The dolphin that Jiang Chen handed over last time had earned him a reward of 300,000 from the country.

Of course, that was not the main point.

The point was that the Ministry of Oceans Base, which oversees the oceans, had sent a secret telegram requiring the Maritime Patrol Department to open an independent communication channel for Jiang Chen, ensuring that he could contact the Maritime Patrol Department in any sea area and at any time.

This made Chen Dahai realize that the dolphin Jiang Chen caught last time was definitely not a simple dolphin.

Because.

Those who could have an independent communication channel were all on the Ministry of Oceans Base’s A-level protection list.

Similar to the ocean-going cargo ships in the country that carry billions in goods, they are on the A-level protection list and have independent communication channels.

If it were a cargo ship loaded with special strategic resources like rare earths, it would at least be on the S-level protection list and would generally be escorted by destroyers!

Want an aircraft carrier escort?

Only those on the SSSSS-level protection list can have that!

”Yes, he called again half an hour ago, saying he wanted to hand over something new!”

”I have already contacted the nearest patrol boat, but it is a bit far away and will need some time.”

The operator reported truthfully.

Chen Dahai stared at the destination of these red dots and, connecting it with the report from pearl river 888, he seemed to realize something, and his expression suddenly changed!

”Oh no! Could these warships be heading toward pearl river 888?!”

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone in the monitoring room tensed up.

The Philippines acting so abnormally must have a reason.

But were they really heading for a fishing boat?

Chen Dahai asked the female operator urgently: ”How much longer until the nearest patrol boat reaches him?”

”It will still take over an hour!”

”No, it’s too late, it’s too late. By the time the patrol boat gets there, pearl river 888 will have already been boarded!”

Chen Dahai was anxious.

The operator suddenly said: ”Besides the patrol boat, the closest thing to him, I’m afraid, is only...”

”What else? At all costs, we must get there first!”

”Our aircraft carrier, Dragon Cry. It is on the west side, not far from pearl river 888.”

The operator finished speaking but still looked troubled.

Aircraft carriers generally have their own missions, not to mention Dragon Cry.

And pearl river 888 was just an ordinary fishing boat.

How could an aircraft carrier suddenly turn around to protect a fishing boat?

”Give me the phone!”

Chen Dahai immediately dialed the Ministry of Oceans Base and explained the situation to them.

”Rest assured, Director Chen!”

”Not to mention that pearl river 888 has brought billions in technical value to our country, even if it hadn’t, it is the duty of the aircraft carrier strike group to protect our country’s fishing boats!”

Ministry of Oceans Base.

Commander-in-Chief Tang Ze, after receiving the news from Chen Dahai, was preparing to have Dragon Cry dispatch a destroyer to provide support.

Just then!

He suddenly received two secret telegrams from the Global Beidou Information Monitoring Department.

The first one: The United States mobilized three global satellites five minutes ago to repeatedly monitor pearl river 888.

The second one: The Philippine Aegis Destroyer is leading six frigates to assemble in the direction of 115 degrees east longitude, latitude...”

Commander Tang Ze frowned; the United States satellite monitoring and the Philippine warships’ destination were all pointing directly at pearl river 888.

It seems something big is happening here!

”Someone! Send out my secret telegram!! SSSSS-level!”

Originally.

With pearl river 888 being on the A-level protection list, it would have been enough to just have Dragon Cry dispatch a destroyer.

But now!

Philippine warships and United States satellites were all investigating over there.

Then!

Dragon Cry must go for a walk over there!

A few seconds later.

Encrypted SSSSS-level secret telegrams were sent out from the Ministry of Oceans Base.

In just one second, the message reached the satellite equipment of the supreme commander of Dragon Cry.

”Dragon Cry!”

”Calling Dragon Cry!”

”Emergency call to Dragon Cry!”

”This is the Ministry of Oceans command room!”

”Please acknowledge receipt!”

”Our department immediately orders you to assemble at 115 degrees east longitude, latitude...”

”Target fishing boat: pearl river 888.”

”Personnel on board: one person.”

”Mission: At all costs, bring pearl river 888, the boat owner, and the items the boat owner is to hand over back safely!”

”Codename: Auspicious Cloud!”

”Repeat...”
