Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 32: Chapter 26: A-Class Qingwu

Wang Lu Feng left, and there was still a self-study class in the morning.

The students were all focused on reviewing. Although the Qi Blood level was the most important for the potential class, passing grades in humanities were also required; otherwise, 1 card of Qi Blood would be deducted.

For high school students, 1 card of Qi Blood is ten times harder than cultural subjects.

But there are exceptions. It’s said that some people have no clue about humanities and would rather sacrifice 1 card of Qi Blood than read books.

With Su Yue’s academic performance, passing is no problem.

Wang Lu Feng’s seat was empty, and his name had been crossed off the roll call list.

From now on, class 3 has one less potential candidate for the potential class.

The atmosphere in the class was somewhat oppressive, with only the rustling sound of pages being turned by classmates.

...

In the meeting room of the political and educational affairs office.

The principal returned and was holding a regular meeting with several vice principals and directors of the political and educational affairs office.

The focus of this meeting was the brand-new assessment system for sophomore class teachers.

On the slides on the wall, a picture of a teacher appeared.

Ding Beitu.

The homeroom teacher of class 3, sophomore year.

He was the focus of the school leadership’s discussion this time.

No choice, out of the nine sophomore classes, class 3 is currently in a dire situation.

In Cengyan City, there are a total of five high schools.

Each high school has about eight or nine sophomore class teachers.

The First High School has always been the strongest, with the most classes, a total of 15 classes.

This assessment by the education bureau involves more than 100 class teachers.

The top ten, needless to say, are mostly from the First and Third High School.

The Second High School is not without hope either; class 1’s homeroom teacher Jiao Xiaoke might break into the top ten. After all, there’s a Zhou Yuncan in the class who might reach 15 cards of Qi Blood.

The most worrying is Ding Beitu.

Originally, Ding Beitu’s situation wasn’t so dire; he might not have even fallen into the bottom ten.

But fate is unpredictable. At this critical moment, Wang Lu Feng transferred schools.

This was nothing short of a fatal blow for Ding Beitu.

Wang Lu Feng had at least 11 cards of Qi Blood, making him a key player in boosting scores for class 3.

Now things are bad.

Class 3 has only one, Gong Ling, with 11 cards, and three others barely scraped to 9 cards.

Calculating the scores, Ding Beitu is currently last among all high schools in Cengyan City.

”Is Ding Beitu going to be thrown into the Wet Ghost Tower?”

A teacher in the political and educational affairs office frowned.

Old Ding is not in good health; at his age, going to the wetland is purely seeking death.

”If there’s no miracle, he should go to the Wet Ghost Tower.

”Old Ding’s luck is bad this year. Most of the students in the class have no interest in martial arts. Even if Wang Lu Feng hadn’t transferred, he was just barely out of the bottom ten.

”Now that Wang Lu Feng is gone, unless another student with 11 cards appears, there’s no turning back.”

A vice principal gave a wry smile.

”Does Su Yue have a chance?”

At this moment, the principal suddenly asked.

He heard that a student from North Wu had come, seemingly to help Su Yue.

”No hope, Su Yue’s foundation is too poor. Last month’s test showed only 5 cards of Qi Blood, now maybe 6 cards. And he seems disinterested in martial arts, delivering takeouts every day to earn tuition. Reaching 9 cards is impossible.”

The director of the political and educational affairs office shook his head.

”I think Old Ding deserves it. He’s been neglectful in discipline, always promoting student free thinking. Now, he faces the consequences.”

Another person from the political and educational office sneered.

”Sigh, if that’s the case, Old Ding really has no hope. Give up, it’s his fate.

”As far as I know, the First High School already has a student with a Qi Blood level of 15 cards, pushing for 16 cards. Notify Jiao Xiaoke to assist Zhou Yuncan more, to break through to 15 cards. It’s crucial for the Second High School’s reputation.”

The principal shook his head.

Falling behind class teachers need students with 9 or 10 cards to boost scores.

And teachers qualified to contend in the top ten need excellent candidates to push for higher scores.

In the top ten, the competition is all above 14 cards.

In the entire Second High School, only Zhou Yuncan is qualified to participate.

Knock, knock!

Suddenly, there was a knocking sound outside the conference room.

Everyone was still in shock, wondering who would dare interrupt the principal’s meeting.

”Come in!”

The principal stood up.

The door opened, and a young man in his twenties walked in.

”Xiaoliu, introduce yourself to everyone.”

The principal smiled.

”Hello to all seniors, my name is Liu Dachen, a Third-Grade Martial Artist. I graduated from Qingwu, and was the vice president of the Qingwu student council. During my time there, I ventured into the wetland three times.

”I just received my Qingwu diploma yesterday and came to work at the Second High School today.”

Having just graduated, Liu Dachen’s pupils glimmered with the sharpness of youth. Facing a group of school leaders, not only did he not show a hint of fear, but he was also incredibly confident, with a hint of... disdain deep in his eyes.

Of course, Liu Dachen hid it very deeply.

”Welcome, welcome!”

Everyone stood up and applauded.

A Third-Grade Martial Artist is quite formidable.

In fact, with Liu Dachen’s martial artist grade, he’s already on par with the principal.

But he was too young and needed to be tested at the grassroots level.

Everyone knows that Liu Dachen will inevitably go to work in the education bureau in the future and will soon rise to great heights.

Of course, some astute people furrowed their brows.

The appearance of this person is a threat to the principal.

Qingwu.

It’s the only A-class martial art university in Renqing Province. Being vice president of the Qingwu student council is truly impressive.

And he’s been to the wetland three times, making him even more remarkable.

”There are four days until the potential class test. Ding Beitu will inevitably fail to hold on. In the future, Teacher Liu Dachen will serve as the homeroom teacher for class 3.

”The governor is reforming the educational structure of Renqing Province. Our Second High School also needs to change and keep up with the times.

”In the future, I will spend heavily to recruit more young martial artists. Everyone should not slack off. Ding Beitu is the first teacher to be expelled from the Second High School, and I hope he is the only one. I don’t want anyone else to be eliminated.”

The principal glanced coldly around, and all the school leaders nodded, some with worried looks on their faces.

The days ahead will be tough.

With Liu Dachen leading the class, he will likely be promoted within two years. By then, this person will certainly replace someone present.

If the work is poor, the end will inevitably be a demotion.

”Poor Ding Beitu.”

Several school leaders looked again at the figure in the slide.

In truth, Ding Beitu is truly wronged.

At the end of freshman year, when students advanced grades, they chose their own classes.

Class 1 gathered all the experts.

Class 2 also took away many good students.

When it was Ding Beitu’s class 3’s turn, his gentle character lacked the will to fight, so the initial students were poor, and the humanities were all concentrated in class 3.

Additionally, due to the teacher’s star effect, the strong gathered more, while the weak stayed away from everyone.

Under such gains and losses, Ding Beitu’s failure was also predetermined.

The teacher assessment happens not to consider humanities at all.

”Xiaoli, the homeroom teacher of class 3 is on the elimination list this time. There are still four days left. Do you want to rest, or go to the class to get familiar with the environment first?

”Ding Beitu can temporarily go to the library to clear his mind for a few days.”

The principal asked.

Faced with this question, Liu Dachen’s mind stiffened a bit.

Just arrived today and the principal is already making things difficult?

Clearly, he’s afraid I’ll take his position, setting me up to make enemies everywhere!

A classroom teacher about to be sent to the wetland, and now you want me to kick him while he’s down?

Such actions would attract hatred!

But not going... wouldn’t work either.

My goal is to become the director of the education bureau and then rise step by step, ultimately aiming to be a governor before the age of 50.

The principal can write a staff report to the education bureau, and a note of dereliction of duty would ruin my life.

A devious person.

Just like the principal, I’m also a third-grade martial artist.

A small deviation in evaluation would leave an arrogant, insubordinate impression on the education bureau, which would be a stumbling block in the future.

The intentions of the leaders are subtle.

”Principal, the exam hasn’t started yet. Is it appropriate for comrade Xiaoli to take over class 3?”

A teacher from the political and educational office frowned.

It hasn’t been decided yet, so how come Ding Beitu is already dismissed?

”Principal, I’ve decided... to familiarize myself with the classroom environment in advance.”

After thinking it over, Liu Dachen decided to bully Ding Beitu and stabilize the principal first.

The fate of the former is unrelated to me.

But the principal’s current job evaluation will affect my career path.

”Okay, then head to class 3 directly, and inform Old Ding to go to the library... Meeting adjourned!”

The principal stood up and left alone.
