Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 22: Chapter 17: Deserved to Be Beaten

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Limbs and flesh collided.

Pain and cruelty intertwined into distant and near wails.

No one expected today to be Su Yue’s day of catastrophe.

Xu Baiyan couldn’t be bothered to say much more.

With her hands in her pockets, she kicked out with both legs from various angles.

Amidst cries of agony, Su Yue had already been sent airborne over a dozen times. His face was bruised and swollen, making him look chubbier as his entire body was battered and puffed up.

From a distance, other students watched the scene, their hearts pounding, and their legs trembling.

Is this the might of a Third-Grade Martial Artist?

Casually, with every turn, every kick, like a dragonfly skimming the water, effortless, and even with a sense of elegant beauty.

Her round big thighs, perfectly proportioned.

If not for Su Yue’s wailing destroying the atmosphere, people would feel like they were watching a ballet performance.

”Xu Baiyan, whatever you have to say, say it calmly, stop hitting, alright?”

Ding Beitu paced anxiously back and forth.

Quite a few other teachers from different classes arrived, even the homeroom teacher from junior year, class one, turned up.

But there was no solution.

The principal wasn’t around; the strongest present was just a Second-Grade Martial Artist.

Who dared to stop Xu Baiyan?

Most of these teachers were graduates of B-class Wuda, and back in their school days, students from the four major Martial Arts Academies were such prestigious figures. Anyone from junior or senior year could be their mentor.

Moreover, they truly couldn’t compete.

The assessment was going fine; how did it turn into a beating?

This had long exceeded the scope of the assessment.

...

”Gong Ling, did you see it?

”This is the consequence of being a scumbag, fickle in love, irresponsible.”

Wang Lu Feng shook his head, feeling pain on behalf of Su Yue.

He didn’t forget to explain the reason Su Yue was beaten to Gong Ling.

”Wang Lu Feng, don’t talk nonsense, this is an assessment.”

Gong Ling frowned.

”What kind of assessment have you seen that involved hitting right from the start?

”Under what circumstances would a girl hit someone? Isn’t it because she encountered a scumbag? Analyze, analyze carefully!”

Wang Lu Feng, as if possessed by Detective Di Renjie, spoke with a face full of seriousness.

”Scumbag?

Even Gong Ling, who usually ignored Wang Lu Feng, was drawn in by his bizarre logic.

Meanwhile, more students focused their attention, carefully listening to Wang Lu Feng’s insider analysis.

”Look at the expression in the eyes of the Beiwu University student, anger mixed with reluctance, reluctance mingled with entanglement, and even the areas she’s hitting are the toughest spots, more like a punishment.

”Who else but a heartbreaker would someone hit on the buttocks repeatedly.”

Wang Lu Feng identified numerous details.

Su Yue, oh Su Yue.

Can’t tell that you even dared to flirt with a Beiwu University student. I’m genuinely envious of you.

”Can’t be true that a girl from Beiwu would fancy Su Yue?”

A classmate questioned sourly.

”What if it’s her cousin?

”Su Yue must be a scumbag; he let down a devoted girl, then her sister came to seek revenge.”

Wang Lu Feng dissected the details.

He actually didn’t want to believe Su Yue could flirt with a Beiwu University student.

Upon hearing this, the classmates nodded thoughtfully.

The logic was airtight, without flaw.

Truly worthy of the son of the Director of the Investigation and Arrest Bureau, his genius was evident.

Wang Lu Feng garnered much admiration.

”Hmph, that scumbag.”

Gong Ling gritted her teeth in anger, feeling it unjust for that innocent girl.

”Pah, scumbag!”

”Deserves the beating.”

Other students secretly scorned.

...

Thud!

The sound of something heavy hitting the ground occurred, and Su Yue finally fell to the ground.

Pain.

Like a tidal wave, the intense pain scrambled Su Yue’s mind.

Aside from the initial kick that caused a minor fracture, Xu Baiyan’s subsequent strikes hit the fleshier parts. Despite the severe pain, he probably hadn’t suffered damage to his muscles or bones.

But it really hurt.

This further confirmed that Su Yue knew her, as this assailant probably had no malice; otherwise, he’d be a case file in the Investigation and Arrest Bureau by now.

In the system, the Diligence Points had reached an unprecedented 98 points.

How brutal must that be?

Now even removing the silver needle couldn’t make him escape; it was truly too painful.

”Do we need to call an ambulance?”

The entire scene fell silent, Ding Beitu hurriedly ran over, checking Su Yue’s injuries.

”No, no, please don’t!”

With Su Yue’s economic level, he could hardly afford such a luxury as an ambulance.

Besides, although his whole body was swollen, his injuries weren’t that severe, mostly superficial bruises.

The entire scene was silent.

All the students hardly dared to breathe, truly feeling terror in the presence of a Third-Grade Martial Artist.

Especially the pit created by that kick in the not-too-distant ground, it was frightening to behold.

It was a miracle that Su Yue was still alive.

Of course, those near Gong Ling also looked sympathetically at Xu Baiyan.

Su Yue, this scumbag, utterly deserved it.

Whom exactly did he hurt?

”Dear teachers, I sincerely apologize for damaging your tiles; I’ll explain to the principal later, and I’m truly sorry.

”Su Yue, room 702 at Eight Days Express Hotel, come find me tonight!

”If you’re a man, don’t run away. If you want to plot against me, I welcome it. The assessment isn’t over yet, and I’ll tell you the results tonight.”

Leaving those words, Xu Baiyan picked up her backpack and turned to leave.

Did I just overdo it?

The pain is on you, though... forget it, it’s painful for you too.

A sister is like half a mother.

A loving mother spoils her child.

I’m sorry, I don’t have any experience being a sister either.

I will wait for you for two days. If you can’t swallow this resentment, then just be an ordinary person.

As long as I, Xu Baiyan, am alive, your future living expenses, I’ve got it covered. I’ll make you a rich second generation.

...

Xu Baiyan left just like that.

But she left behind endless imagination.

Budget hotel?

Room 702?

What kind of tragic and thrilling story is hidden here?

An assessment?

Just a pretext.

But what is the truth behind the scumbag version spread by Wang Lu Feng?

Su Yue lay on the ground, weakly clenching his fists.

One day, I will definitely take revenge.

In front of everyone, under the teaching building, taking advantage of some assessment to humiliate me like this, don’t I have any dignity!

It’s too much bullying.

Being a Third-Grade Martial Artist is so great, huh?

Also, where have I seen you before?

Su Yue really felt like crying, but had no tears. The more he thought about it, the angrier he got.

Ambush.

Poisoning? Hiring thugs?

Damn it, she’s a Third-Grade Martial Artist, how to ambush.

”Classmates, hurry up and go eat!”

Ding Beitu waved his hand.

The excitement was over, and the students flocked to eat.

This time, Wang Lu Feng became the absolute protagonist.

He vividly described the details of the scumbag.

”Hmph, scumbag.”

When Gong Ling and her group of girls passed by Su Yue, they all left in disdain.

Scumbag?

Su Yue barely regained a little strength. He just lifted his head and, before he could receive any concern from classmates, was met with a scumbag remark straight to his face.

Who’s the scumbag?

I still have my first love!

”Hmph, scumbag!”

Wang Lu Feng also passed by with disdain.

Su Yue was upset to the point of internal injury.

Even this bootlicker dared to look down on him.

...

”Beiwu!”

Everyone dispersed, and Zhou Yuncan stood frozen on the spot.

He thought being the first in No. 2 Middle School meant his strength was already good.

But when facing students from the four core Martial Arts Academies, he realized how far he was lagging.

”Zhou Yuncan, don’t be discouraged. There’s still one year, and there are some chances!”

The homeroom teacher of Class 1 walked over and patted his shoulder.

Zhou Yuncan, this kind of student, is diligent and hardworking, but being too competitive is also a shortcoming.

”Teacher, there’s one week before finals. Can I take a leave?”

Zhou Yuncan suddenly said.

”You want to undergo special training?”

The homeroom teacher was taken aback.

”I want to try and see if I can break through to 15 cards.

”No. 2 Middle School loses to No. 1 Middle School every year. I need to reach 15 cards for No. 1 Middle School to stand a chance.

”You’ve taught me for two years. If I can become the top sophomore in Cengyan City, you could become the vice principal.”

Zhou Yuncan nodded.

cards just aren’t enough.

”15 cards, how difficult. Don’t be too hard on yourself either.”

The homeroom teacher sighed.

Surpassing Beiwu University’s B-Class admission line by 1 card, it’s simply unbelievable.

They are just sophomores, after all.

However, if he could nurture a top sophomore, he, as the homeroom teacher, might really become the vice principal.

Zhou Yuncan had this thought, and it moved him inside.

”I’ll give it my all.”

Zhou Yuncan looked at the direction Xu Baiyan left, murmuring to himself.

”Beiwu is on break, Xu Baiyan returns, probably to help Su Yue train.”

The homeroom teacher said.

”Help Su Yue?”

Zhou Yuncan was startled, wasn’t it just a fierce fight?

Was the assessment real?

”Su Yue’s father is the Old Admiral, once dubbed as the military’s Prince Qing. He’s not a simple man, this girl must have come because of the admiral to find Su Yue.

”The final exam is a week away, and I heard his Qi Blood is only at 6 cards. But if the people from Beiwu came, maybe he could really be forcibly elevated to the 9 card admission line.

”No wonder they’re from Beiwu, they know warfare better than anyone. You youngsters, quick-tempered and impulsive, must experience setbacks early.”

The homeroom teacher said.

”Inexplicably beating people, Beiwu people are so great, if I were Su Yue, I’d fight with her right there.”

Zhou Yuncan gritted his teeth.

”Indeed, you’re still too young.

”Zhou Yuncan, your temperament... isn’t really good.

”The path of martial arts isn’t just about getting stronger. One must also learn patience and how to digest setbacks. No one can sail smoothly all their life. At the slightest humiliation, you resort to fighting, how many lives do you have to play with?”

The homeroom teacher shook his head.

This is the drawback of small cities, teachers only care about Qi Blood, and often neglect students’ setback education.

”Teacher, with just a few days left, can Su Yue really reach 9 cards?”

Zhou Yuncan frowned and asked.

He always felt Xu Baiyan was too much of a bully, holding a grudge in his heart.

”Never underestimate the students of the four martial academies. In the four martial academies, there are many mysterious things.

”What a pity, Beiwu University’s second-year is too busy. If this girl could have come back half a year earlier, Su Yue could definitely have had 11 Qi Blood points, which would have eased a lot of pressure on No. 2 Middle School.”

The homeroom teacher shook his head, patted Zhou Yuncan’s shoulder again, and left directly.

Beiwu students are busy, getting a Third-Grade Martial Artist to come back, it’s definitely not an ordinary relationship.
