Chapter 2499: Chapter 2499: Found Someone That I Like

Ming Yue expressed her concern to her husband. To be honest, she did not have a good impression of Su Ke Ke’s family. How could someone whom they met for the first time demand something like that?

Just because they were going to be relatives that they demanded that their son be hired. Not to mention a manager position. If he were qualified, it would be fine, but he did not even have the qualifications. His attitude was also not good.

Ming Yue hoped that her son’s wedding would be fine. Her son liked Su Ke Ke. She knew that Su Ke Ke was a good girl.

...

Su Ke Ke looked at her mother.

”Mom, what are you doing just now?” Su Ke Ke asked.

”Doing what?” Fang Lifen asked.

”How could you embarrass me in front of Jin Wei’s family?” Su Ke Ke questioned Fang Lifen.

”When did I embarrass you? I did not do that.” Fang Lifen said.

She never thought that she was doing anything wrong at dinner.

”How can you ask Doctor Yu Qi to hire Jinhai?” Su Ke Ke asked.

”What? I just asked her to help your brother. She has the power to do it, but humph! She did not even bother to help us.” Fang Lifen said.

”She already told you to apply for the job through the website.” Su Ke Ke argued.

”If your brother applies for the job through the website, I am sure he will not be able to get the manager position.” Fang Lifen said.

”Why do you think he deserves that position? He does not have any qualifications. People study hard to get enter college to get a degree, to get a better job. Look at him. He just wasted his school time playing video games.” Su Ke Ke pointed the fact.

”Mom, how could she say something like that about me?” Su Jinhai complained to his mother.

”Su Ke Ke, apologise to your brother.” Fang Lifen ordered.

If this were in the past, Su Ke Ke would immediately apologise because she disliked confrontation. But now, not anymore.

”What? Did I say anything wrong? Everything is the truth, and you know it. People work hard to achieve the result. But you... You think that people should be grateful for you to offer yourself. Who do you think you are? Mom is probably like to back you up. But you can not expect people to do the same. For them, you are nothing.” Su Ke Ke said.

Su Jinhai was shocked to hear the statement from his older sister.

”You... You... How dare you say something like that to your brother? Apologise now!” Fang Lifen shouted.

”No... I don’t want. I am going to leave right now. Check out time is before 12 p.m. You should remember it. Otherwise, you will be charged for the extra time. I will not be paying for that.” Su Ke Ke left the room.

”Mom...” Su Jinhai called out.

”That girl, she already knows how to fight.” Fang Lifen hissed.

Su Ke Ke never acted like that in front of her in thr past. If she told Su Ke Ke to apologise, she would immediately apologise to her.

”Mom, she probably thinks she can fight because she has someone to back her up.” Su Jinhai said.

”I think so too.” Fang Lifen nodded.

”Mom, I think we should teach her a lesson.” Su Jinhai said.

”What kind of lesson should we teach her?” Fang Lifen was interested in the topic.

Su Jinhai whispered something to his mother. Fang Lifen’s eyes lit up.

”Hmm... Let’s talk about it to her tomorrow.” Fang Lifen said.

”Mom, Jinhai, why are you still talking? What are you talking about?” Su Jinxiu asked.

”Nothing. Why are you coming out?” Fang Lifen asked Su Jinxiu back.

”Well, I can not sleep.” Su Jinxiu sighed.

”Come here.” Fang Lifen urged Su Jinxiu to sit down.

Su Jinxiu sat down beside her mother. She hugged her mother’s arm.

”Tell me what is on your mind?” Fang Lifen said.

”Mom... I think I am in love.” Su Jinxiu said.

”What? It is good news. Who is the lucky man?” Fang Lifen asked.

”Long Hui.” Su Jinxiu stated.

”What? That man?” Fang Lifen was shocked.

”Yes.” Su Jinxiu blushed when she admitted her feelings.

”Jinxiu, he is just a bodyguard.” Fang Lifen said.

Her first concern was about Long Hui’s job. It was not about his identity as Yu Qi’s fiancé.

”Mom, even if he is just a bodyguard, his salary is probably higher than Dad’s.” Su Jinxiu stated. Then, she continued. ”Mom, you always told me that I need to get the man that I like. I will do that.”

”Have you forgotten something?” Su Jinhai interrupted the mother and daughter.

”What?” Su Jinxiu asked.

”Do you forget that he is someone else’s fiancé?” Su Jinhai asked.

”Humph! She is just a fiancée. Not even married yet. So, if I can snatch him, no one can say anything else.” Su Jinxiu said. ”And you, don’t tell me that you don’t like that Tang Yu Qi? I saw you stare at her from time to time during dinner.”

Su Jinxiu exposed Su Jinhai.

”You like her, Jinhai?” Fang Lifen asked.

”Well, she is beautiful and don’t forget, Mom, she is the chairwoman of that company. If I can get to marry her, our life is set.” Su Jinhai said.
