Chapter 2496: Chapter 2496: House Tour

Yu Qi got the news from Ming Yue about Tang Jin Wei’s engagement. She was happy for him. When she saw him at the hospital, she teased him about the engagement.

”Brother Jin Wei, congratulations.” Yu Qi grinned.

”Mom must have told you about it.” Tang Jin Wei smiled.

”Yeah. Auntie Ming Yue is really happy about that. So, when is the meeting?” Yu Qi asked.

”I need to talk to Ke Ke first.” Tang Jin Wei stated.

”Oh... If you already have the date, don’t forget to tell me.” Yu Qi said.

”Of course.” Tang Jin Wei nodded.

Yu Qi finished working. She rushed to the cafeteria to see Long Hui, who had been waiting for her. They had a plan to see the house. After Yu Qi told him about the attempted robbery at the building where their current house was, Long Hui did not waste time.

He had been looking online at the house. He asked Yu Qi about what house that Yu Qi preferred. She immediately told him what she wanted for their house.

Many rooms, possibly like 6 to 7 rooms, a large kitchen, a big yard at the front and back and a secure neighbourhood where people needed to be checked at the security gate when they did not have a pass to come in.

Long Hui found one, something like Yu Qi described. Long Hui told Yu Qi this afternoon about the house. Yu Qi told him to arrange the house tour with the agent this evening if possible.

Long Hui called the agent asking for the house tour. The agent was thrilled to show Long Hui the house this evening.

Yu Qi waved at Long Hui when she saw him. Long Hui stood up and walked to Yu Qi.

”I want to eat something first.” Yu Qi said. ”Ah, don’t worry, it will be quick.”

Yu Qi went to the counter and grabbed some sandwiches, and paid for them.

”Are you sure that is enough?” Long Hui asked.

”Hmm... We are going to have dinner out after the house tour. So, this will be enough for now.” Yu Qi said.

”If you say so. Then, let’s go.” Long Hui nodded.

They left the hospital. Yu Qi ate the sandwich in the car. The agent was waiting for them at the security gate. They would park their car in the parking lot there and enter the area with the agent’s car.

The agent was a middle-aged man. He shook his hand with Long Hui and Yu Qi. After explaining the situation to the security guards, they were given permission to enter the area.

The agent drove the car to the house. He explained the area to Long Hui and Yu Qi. He talked about the safety and the neighbourhood. It was a quiet neighbourhood.

They arrived at the house. The house was located at the corner. Beside it, there was a hill. When Yu Qi got out, she noticed something on the hill. She was sure that Long Hui also noticed it. They ignored it for now.

The agent invited them to enter the house. He explained that the current owner wanted to sell the house to migrate overseas with his family. So, he wanted to sell everything in the house as well. They could do whatever they wanted to the furniture.

Yu Qi looked around. The interior design in the living room was not bad. It matched the furniture perfectly. After that, they went to look at each other. The rooms needed a major renovation, except for the office room. When she saw the study room, she really liked the design. Maybe she would add something later.

Then, they moved to the kitchen. They would also renovate the kitchen. Then, they looked at the backyard. It was huge. Yu Qi liked it.

Yu Qi looked at Long Hui. Long Hui smiled as he knew the look. It meant Yu Qi liked the house.

”Can the price be lowered?” Long Hui asked.

The listing price was 5 million. Long Hui wanted to get the house at the lowest price possible.

”We can offer 4.8 million for you.” The agent said.

”4 million.” Long Hui said.

”That is too much. We can not lower that much.” The agent said.

”Are you sure about that?” Long Hui asked.

The agent thought for a moment. ”4.7 million.”

”Well, I don’t think we should buy this house.” Long Hui said.

”Wait! 4.5 million. It is the last deal.” The agent stopped Long Hui and Yu Qi.

”How is it, Qi Qi?” Long Hui asked.

”Hmm... Buy it.” Yu Qi nodded.

Long Hui turned to the agent and said. ”We will buy it at 4.5 million.”

The agent felt like he had been tricked. Well, at least he managed to sell this house.

”Well, I will need you to submit the paper for the loan approval.” The agent said.

”No need. We will buy it in cash.” Yu Qi said.

”What?” The agent was stunned. ”By cash?”

”Yes. It will be bothersome waiting for the loan. So, we buy cash. We just need to arrange the day to sign the transfer document. And we will pay you directly on that day.” Long Hui said.

The agent was stunned. This was the easiest sale that he encountered.

”Mr Jin... Mr Jin...” Yu Qi tried to call the agent, but the agent seemed to be stunned.
