Chapter 2477: Chapter 2477: Call For Shareholder Meeting

”It went to a shell company’s account overseas. CEO Zhao’s secretary submitted the invoices throughout the years. The amount is 500 million in total. The most recent transaction was 50 million.” The private investigator stated.

”What’s about Tang Yu Qi? Do you find out anything about that?” Shen Qingling asked.

”We are still investigating that.” The private investigator stated.

”Well, send me the details about the transaction first. I will go through about that first.” Shen Qingling said.

”Yes, Madam.” Shen Qingling stated.

While she was waiting for the document, she received an email. The email address was the same email when she received the video about her husband’s infidelity. She immediately clicked and opened the email. It was a voice recording.

Shen Qingling did not hesitate to download and listen to the voice recording. In that voice recording, her husband and his mistress were discussing how to trick Tang Yu Qi using the information about Tang Yu Qi’s biological family.

In that voice recording, they planned to lure Tang Yu Qi. After Tang Yu Qi got into the room, the mistress, Wang Fu Ya, would drug Tang Yu Qi. Then, both of them were planning to do something to Tang Yu Qi. They would keep that to threaten Tang Yu Qi to do whatever they wanted.

In the email also attached the Orphan Program. Shen Qingling also did a quick search about the program on the internet. The top search of the search was that Tang Yu Qi refused to join the program because she did not want to leave her rich family.

Shen Qingling was not stupid. She immediately connected the two information together. So, her husband had something to do with the program. She called the private investigators to investigate the program. The private investigator immediately dived into it.

Two hours ago, the private investigator called Shen Qingling. He told Shen Qingling that her husband indeed had a hand in the program. Even though it was a good program on the surface, helping the orphans find their biological family but everything was fake. They had been paid.

So, everything was for Tang Yu Qi to reach out? She did not know what to say whether her husband was brilliant or stupid. He clearly did not know who Tang Yu Qi’s biological family was. Did he want to find a fake family for Tang Yu Qi?

From the information that the private investigator found, her husband even paid for the media companies to harass Tang Yu Qi at the hospital, making the Tang Private Hospital sue the media companies. Her husband even helped them to pay the settlement.

She got the information that was enough to push her husband out of his position and even the company. Therefore, she called the board of shareholders for a shareholder meeting. Everyone was surprised to get a call about the meeting. They wondered why.

Zhao Cheng, on the other hand, was panicked when he got the notification about the shareholder meeting. He was having fun with Wang Fu Ya. When the notification popped out and alerted him, he did not think of anything. However, when he read the message, he immediately let Wang Fu Ya go. Wang Fu Ya did not expect Zhao Cheng to let her go, and fell on her butt.

”What happened?” Wang Fu Ya wanted to get angry at Zhao Cheng for letting her go like that without any warning, but she saw Zhao Cheng’s expression, and she put on a concerned expression.

”My wife called the board of shareholders for a meeting.” Zhao Cheng stated.

”What? For what?” Wang Fu Ya asked.

”I don’t know. Something serious is going on.” Zhao Cheng said.

”I don’t think you should worry too much. You said your wife is stupid. I am sure that she will not be able to find anything.” Wang Fu Ya wanted to make Zhao Cheng feel assured.

Zhao Cheng did not give any response to that comment. Of course, that was not the truth. He just told Wang Fu Ya to make him look cool. His wife had a master’s degree in finance. His wife probably found something. He stood up, wanting to leave.

”Dear, are you leaving?” Wang Fu Ya asked Zhao Cheng with a sad expression.

”I need to see my wife right now.” Zhao Cheng said.

”Will you be coming back?” Wang Fu Ya asked.

”We will see about that.” Zhao Cheng said. He kissed Wang Fu Ya.

Then, Zhao Cheng rushed out without waiting for Wang Fu Ya’s response. In his mind at the moment was meeting his wife and asking about the agenda of the shareholder meeting. So, he did not notice how Wang Fu Ya’s expression was at the moment.

Once Zhao Cheng disappeared from her sight, Wang Fu Ya immediately stood up. She pulled out large suitcases. She knew that it was over. Zhao Cheng’s wife had probably found something and would confront Zhao Cheng in the meeting. She would have to leave before something happened to her. There was no way that she would stay and wait for Zhao Cheng. She was together with him because of the money. Otherwise, why would she be with a greasy old man like him?

Wang Fu Ya began to pack all of the designer items that she got from Zhao Cheng. It belonged to her. She could sell the item in the marketplace if she needed the money. It went the same for the jewellery.
