Chapter 2494: Chapter 2494: Suggested To Move Out

Yu Qi elbowed the man’s face. The force was quite strong because two of his front teeth broke immediately. The blood poured down. He dropped the knife. Then, he could feel the force on his back. It forced him to lie on the ground.

Yu Qi called the police.

”I want to report an attempted robbery. At that house. Yes. He is planning to rob me. No. I am fine. I am currently restraining him. Yes... Yes... I will be waiting for you to come.” Yu Qi said.

”Let me go.” The man protested.

Then, he could feel the force on his back increase. If this continued, he might crush. How could a woman like this be so strong?

Yu Qi ignored the man’s crying. She contacted the management of this building. This was the second time that the robber managed to sneak into the building area. The security seemed useless here.

Yu Qi explained to the management about the incident. The person in charge was shocked to hear that. He promised that he would take a look at the incidents and improve the security and safety of the building.

15 minutes later, the police arrived. The police were stunned seeing Yu Qi stand up with one of her legs pressed against the man’s back. They thought the person on the ground was lying to them when he informed them about the pain of being crushed like that. Yu Qi just stepped on him with one leg. It would not be so painful.

The man was taken into police custody. Yu Qi gave the police her statement. The man kept complaining to the police officers about the pain. So, he was sent to the hospital for a checkup. When the police officers got the result, they were dumbfounded.

The result stated that the bones on his back and his ribs had cracks. The doctor stated it was due to the force that pressed the man down. The police officers looked at each other without saying anything.

When Yu Qi returned to the house, she sat down and began to survey the house. She felt like this place was not safe enough for her anymore. It was the second time that she had encountered an attempted robbery.

She was thinking of buying a landed house with the security check at the entrance of the area. The area, like the Tang Family Residence, would be nice. Coincidentally, she found a house in that area. Not far from the Tang Family Residence. The owner wanted to sell the house because they wanted to downgrade to a small house.

It was an old couple. They stated they did not need much space anymore. So, they wanted to sell the house. Yu Qi checked the price. 2 million yuan. Not bad. She wanted to check the house later with Long Hui.

...

Long Hui finally returned home two days later. He already sent the report to the military about their mission in the Zain Country. Yu Qi told him about her plan to move away.

”Why?” Long Hui asked.

”I don’t think this area is safe anymore. I encountered an attempted robbery two times already.” Yu Qi stated.

”What? Robbery?” Long Hui frowned.

”Yeah. The first one was when I was with Yue in the elevator. That man tried to go up to the same floor as ours. He told us that he stayed on the same floor. He did not know that on our floor, there was only our house. I restrained him right there. The second one happened recently, the night when I just came home from Zain Country. I was cleaning the house and went to take out the trash. After throwing the trash, a man came up to me and pointed his knife at my back. Of course, I restrained him after I broke his two front teeth.” Yu Qi told Long Hui.

”Are you okay?” Long Hui was more concerned about Yu Qi’s safety.

”I am fine. I am thinking of renting out this property and buying another house. Let’s buy a landed house. It would be a great investment for the family.” Yu Qi said.

”Sure.” Long Hui nodded.

The landed house was indeed good. When they got married and had children later, their children would have space to play and run around.

”Hmm... Let’s go and take a look at the house at the weekend. I found several of them.” Yu Qi said.

”Okay.” Long Hui agreed.

”Oh... Do you remember Wang Fu Ya?” Yu Qi changed the topic.

”Wang Fu Ya?” Long Hui raised his eyebrow.

The name sounded familiar. That was what Long Hui thought.

”The daughter of my former adopted family. The Wang Family.” Yu Qi said.

”Oh, her.” Long Hui suddenly remembered him. ”What’s about her?” He asked.

”While you were in Zain Country, I had a reunion with her.” Yu Qi stated.

”I heard she was in prison because of the drug problem.” Long Hui said.

”Yeah. She came out early. She became a mistress to a businessman. She and that businessman targeted me, specifically targeting my wealth. But they failed. The businessman got fired from his company and divorced his wife. The ex-wife knew Wang Fu Ya was with her ex-husband because of money. So, when Wang Fu Ya wanted to leave the businessman, his ex-wife told his ex-husband. The ex-husband had no one else to vent his frustration did not want Wang Fu Ya to leave him. So, he forced Wang Fu Ya to be his wife.” Yu Qi stated.
