Chapter 2468: Chapter 2468: Still Want To Try To Trick Yu Qi

”Well, he will understand.” Feng Yue said.

”Don’t come to me if you are fighting.” Yu Qi replied.

”Fine... I know. I will go home tomorrow.” Feng Yue said.

”Good girl.” Yu Qi patted Feng Yue’s forehead.

”Let’s sleep together again tonight.” Feng Yue said.

They took a shower and changed into pyjamas. Once they were in bed, Feng Yue took a selfie with Yu Qi.

”Nice.” Feng Yue said.

”What are you going to do with the picture?” Yu Qi said.

She noticed Feng Yue taking a selfie with her when they were about to sleep.

Feng Yue grinned. ”I am sending the pictures to Brother Hui. He will be jealous seeing the picture.”

”I don’t think he could see the picture if you send it now. He usually turned off the phone during the mission.” Yu Qi stated.

”It’s fine. It works well that way. Once he turns on the phone, he will be jealous when he sees the pictures at once. However, he could not do anything about that.” Feng Yue laughed.

”Why do you always want to irritate her cousin?” Yu Qi sighed.

”Humph! Because he always wants to try to make me train. I am not a soldier.” Feng Yue pouted.

”Well, because of that training, you don’t have any problem fighting with people who try to disturb you.” Yu Qi said.

Feng Yue did not comment about that because she knew that part was right.

....

Feng Yue returned to her city when Yu Qi left for work. Yu Qi was busy, treating the patients all morning into the afternoon. She did not care about her phone, which she left in the locker. So, she had a lot of missed calls from an unknown number.

She had a late lunch. That was when she had some time to take a look at her phone. She frowned when she saw the missed calls. It was about 40 missed calls.

Yu Qi decided to call the number back. However, before she had the chance to do so, the number called her again. She let the number ring a few times before answering it.

”Hello. Who is this?” Yu Qi answered the call.

”Finally, you answer it. I have been calling you since this morning, you know. Are you ignoring my call on purpose?” The person on the other side began to question Yu Qi.

”Who are you? Why are you calling me? And I am not ignoring the calls on purpose. I am working all morning. Not to mention, I don’t know this number. So, who are you?” Yu Qi asked the first question again.

”You... I am Wang Fu Ya.” The person on the other side revealed her identity.

”First of all, how do you get my number? Second one, why are you calling me?” Yu Qi asked calmly.

”Why did you come to the hotel yesterday and decide not to meet me in the end?” Wang Fu Ya asked back.

”I am not planning to see you from the start. I just want to play a trick on you.” Yu Qi said.

”You...” Wang Fu Ya wanted to shout at Yu Qi for playing with her, but she forced herself to calm down. She needed to handle this task correctly. ”I just want to tell you about your biological family.”

”Then, tell me right now.” Yu Qi demanded.

”That... That information can not be said on the phone. Because it might be recorded by others, like the phone provider. So, it will be great if I tell you in person.” Wang Fu Ya tried to trick Yu Qi again.

”Fu Ya, do you think I am stupid or what?” Yu Qi asked.

”What are you talking about?” Wang Fu Ya asked defensively.

Yu Qi chuckled. ”Don’t put yourself too high. I don’t think you have the information about my biological family.”

”Of course, I have it. My parent told me so.” Wang Fu Ya tried to make a point.

”Your parent adopted me from the orphanage. Even the orphanage itself has no information about my biological family, how could your parent have it?” Yu Qi scoffed.

”Well, my parent searched for your parents’ information after they adopted you. It cost them a fortune.” Wang Fu Ya argued.

”Yeah... Yeah... Do you think I am going to believe your parent, who was stingy with the money, will spend a fortune to find information about my parent? I am highly doubtful about that.” Yu Qi snorted.

Madam Wang, Wang Fu Ya’s mother, was the most stingy person she ever knew. That woman would never spend a single cent on a stranger. Sometimes, she also acted the same way toward her family.

”Fine... I will tell the truth. I ask someone else for the information. You should know that I have a rich backer at the moment. I can ask him for anything.” Wang Fu Yu changed her technique.

”Oh... Really? He will spend a fortune to find information about my biological family just because you ask him? You really paid him a lot, with that body of yours.” Yu Qi chuckled.

”You!!!” Wang Fu Ya’s blood pressure rose when talking to Yu Qi.

”Wang Fu Ya, just stop pretending. You don’t have any information about my biological family. If the information about my parent is so easy to get, do you think I will not going to do anything about it?” Yu Qi snorted.

”That...” Wang Fu Ya still wanted to pretend.
