Chapter 2467: Chapter 2467: Well Played

So, after being lectured by the police, the police released him back. When he thought again about sleeping in jail, he felt embarrassed and angry. He wanted to teach the woman who sent him to jail some lessons. That was why he was here.

”If I call the police again on you, what do you think they will do to you? It will not be just sleeping one night in jail. And I can make sure it will be much longer. So, do you want to leave or spend another night in jail?” Yu Qi crossed her arms waiting for the man’s response.

The man was silent. That meant he was thinking. Yu Qi gave another push.

”As you can see, if you try to do something to me, you should know where you will end up.” Yu Qi said.

”Fine. I am leaving.” The man ran away from the parking lot.

Yu Qi was about to walk to the elevator, when she saw Feng Yue’s car coming into the parking lot. She decided to wait for Feng Yue to come out.

”Do you just arrive too?” Feng Yue asked when she saw Yu Qi.

”Not really.” Yu Qi said.

”Then, are you waiting for me?” Feng Yue grinned.

”I was blocked by the same man who tried to rob my house another day.” Yu Qi stated.

”What? He comes back? What is the police doing?” Feng Yue was surprised.

”That must be his first time wanting to do the crime. No criminal record before. The police are probably just going to give some lectures to the man and let him sleep for a night in jail.” Yu Qi said.

”Then, why is he coming back here, stopping you at the parking lot?” Feng Yue asked.

”Probably want to teach me some lessons. However, I manage to tell him to leave by telling him that if he does not leave, I will make sure he sleeps in jail for more nights.” Yu Qi said.

Feng Yue was speechless for a moment before laughing. ”You threatened him to scare him and he believed you. That’s funny.”

”Well, he is naive since he is still young.” Yu Qi said.

They entered the elevator and went up to Yu Qi’s floor.

”By the way, what is it about that Wang Girl?” Feng Yue suddenly remembered the matter.

”Well, let’s talk when we are in the house.” Yu Qi said.

They arrived at Yu Qi’s penthouse and entered the house. Feng Yue did not let Yu Qi rest before she listened to the story.

”Fine... Fine... I will talk. Let’s sit down first.” Yu Qi said.

Feng Yue put her handbag on the table and sat down on the sofa. Yu Qi followed the same.

”So, what is the story?” Feng Yue asked.

”I went to the hotel like Wang Fu Ya asked, just to play with her.” Yu Qi chuckled.

”Play with her?” Feng Yue raised her eyebrow.

”Yeah. Remember yesterday, when she spoke to me about the clue to my real family. She told me that if I wanted to know, I should come to the hotel and inform the receptionist at the front desk. The receptionist will call her about that. So, I just went there, informed the receptionist to deliver my message to Wang Fu Ya that I was not interested in knowing about the clue that she had. She could bring the information to her grave.” Yu Qi said.

Feng Yue started to laugh. ”Well played.”

”Well, that is because she never has any clue about my real family. She just wants to trick me into going to see her.” Yu Qi said.

”Why?” Feng Yue asked.

Yu Qi took out her phone and clicked something on it. Then, a conversation between Wang Fu Ya and CEO Zhao could be heard. How Wang Fu Ya spoke to drug Yu Qi’s tea and how CEO Zhao planned to do something to Yu Qi and used that to blackmail Yu Qi, everything was in the conversation.

”That stupid bitch! That old pig! They really dare to plot something sinister for you.” Feng Yue gritted her teeth. She continued. ”Let’s report this to the police.”

”No.” Yu Qi shook her head.

”Why not?” Feng Yue was confused.

”Because the recording is illegal. It can not be used.” Yu Qi stated.

”What do you mean by that?” Feng Yue was still confused.

”After Wang Fu Ya and I finished talking yesterday, I put the bug into Wang Fu Ya’s purse. So, I recorded the conversation without their consent. So, technically, it is illegal. It will give me more problems than help me.” Yu Qi made up some stories.

She could not seriously tell Feng Yue that she recorded the conversation herself. It would be so ridiculous.

”Oh... That is why you want to play a joke on Wang Fu Ya.” Feng Yue nodded.

”Indeed.” Yu Qi chuckled.

”But we can not let Wang Fu Ya just like that.” Feng Yue said.

”Don’t worry too much. It will be fine.” Yu Qi said.

Yu Qi did not want to talk about this topic anymore. So, she changed the topic.

”When are you going home?” Yu Qi asked.

”What? Are you chasing me out?” Feng Yue made a crying voice.

”Stupid. I am just worried about your relationship. What will your boyfriend think if you want to stay apart from him?” Yu Qi asked.
