Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 934: Nathan is a God?

”Is it done?” Noelle asked while looking around as Nathan finally reached her area.

”Yeah.” Nathan pointed to the side. The girls seemed to be walking toward them while the familiars checked the battlefield.

”I see… So, Selena…” Noelle glanced at Selena. Although she had the feeling that Count Ashton had returned, especially because of the ruckus he made earlier, she still wanted a confirmation.

”Donʼt worry, Count Ashton has been rescued. We can finally go home.” Nathan assured Noelle.

”I see.” Noelle let out a long sigh of relief. Noelle was close to her family, so she knew how painful it was to be separated or tortured by their own family.

Since Selena managed to save her father, she couldnʼt help but become happy for her. Noelle waved her hand. Once Selena was close enough, she finally said, ”Selena. Congratulations. You have finally saved your father.”

”Yes.” Selena nodded. She finally lowered her head and sincerely said, ”Thank you, everyone. If not for your help, I wouldnʼt be able to save my father. Really… Thank you so much. Iʼll definitely repay this favor.”

”Favor, you say?” Sera raised her eyebrows. ”Arenʼt you the one who has been taking care of us this whole time? Weʼre just repaying you.”

”Thatʼs right. What favor? There is no favor between us.” Flora nodded in agreement.

”I donʼt know whatʼs going on, but youʼre welcome and donʼt think much about it…” Alavenya tilted her head in confusion. For her, it was proper to receive the thanks no matter if they thought it was not needed. After all, this was also a recognition that the mission was successful.

Noelle crossed her arms. ”So, that was Count Ashton… Do we just need to wait here?”

”Yeah. Iʼm thinking about gathering the cores. Depending on the situation with the elite class alien, Iʼm planning to stay here until tomorrow or just head back immediately.” Nathan shrugged.

”Which route are we going to take?”

”Definitely not the mountain. Since we have Count Ashton with us, I think itʼs better to use the normal route rather than the swamp. We can somehow clear it ourselves, but I think itʼs best to have Count Ashton lead us. In the end, heʼs much more familiar with this place than us,” suggested Nathan.

Of course, Count Ashton could simply ask his familiars to fight, allowing him to have a lengthy chat with Selena.

Asking him to lead the way was simply a way to make Count Ashton not feel too indebted to them. In the end, he was Selenaʼs father.

To everyoneʼs surprise, there was actually one familiar sneaking behind everyoneʼs back. While the others were making sure all the aliens had died instead of playing dead, a certain vampire suddenly slipped past them and moved toward the group without anyone noticing it.

And her target this time was the only male in this group.

”!!!” All the girls were the first ones to see her.

Meanwhile, Nathan could only sense her the moment she hugged him from behind.

”Hello, human. That blood is yours, isnʼt it?”

”Lilith?!” Nathan and Selena called her name at the same time.

But it was a bit too late. Out of nowhere, Lilith opened her mouth and bit Nathanʼs neck.

”!!!” Everyone looked surprised. All of them suddenly picked up their weapons as though they deemed Lilith was dangerous. Although they knew Risa had been sucking Nathanʼs blood from time to time, it was with his consent.

On the other hand, Lilith sneaked up on him, making them think she was hostile.

Before everyone could unleash their anger, Lilith already released Nathan, as if she didnʼt have the intention to suck his blood. She just wanted to taste his blood.

While licking her lips, Lilith couldnʼt help but say, ”This blood… Human… no, are you… a god?”

”!!!” Everyoneʼs anger turned into confusion.

”Lilith! What are you doing?!” Selena was furious. It was thanks to Nathan that she managed to summon her. She had sworn to fight for Nathan, but she never thought her familiar would try to harm him.

But before Selena did anything, Nathan raised his hand, stopping her anger for a second. ”Wait. I didnʼt get the feeling of being sucked. She didnʼt suck my blood… maybe tasting the blood from the wound instead?”

”Yes. The blood that called me during the ritual… it was yours, right?” Lilith asked.

”Still…” Selena gritted her teeth, glaring at Lilith.

To avoid a clash here, Nathan stopped both of them by saying, ”Yes… Though, Iʼd appreciate it if you just informed me about it instead of sneaking around. Itʼs not like Iʼm going to reject it if itʼs reasonable.”

Nathan finally took a close look at Lilith. As expected of the woman who was often affiliated with a succubus. Her beauty was definitely on a par with Mae, who practiced charm.

Lilith paused for a moment before closing her eyes. She politely lowered her head and lifted up her skirt like a noble. ”I see. I had done something rude. Allow me to offer my sincerest apology, man who defies fate.”

”Huh?” Nathan didnʼt know where Lilith was coming from. He thought Lilith knew about it from the memory she got from Selena, but it seemed to be only his misunderstanding.

Lilith might be known as a vampire progenitor, but at the same time, there was one more figure that had the same name, which was often confused with the former.

It was none other than the first female ever born, who was said to be Adamʼs equal. Yes, she was none other than the first woman, a woman who was born before Eve.

Unlike Eve, who was born from Adamʼs ribs, Lilithʼs creation was similar to that of Adam.

That was why Lilith asked, ”I couldnʼt help but become curious the moment I got that blood, but from tasting it, I could say one thing…

”One hundred… No, itʼs more than that… How many times have you lived? Thousands? Tens of thousands? How many lives have you saved? Billions? Trillions?

”Your soul has the trace of innocence, but at the same time accumulates so much karma from the past, present, and future. You probably donʼt know yourself, but your soul canʼt lie. Other vampires might not be able to see it, but Iʼm different.

”That entangled mess makes you untraceable… to the point I canʼt even call you a man who defies fate… You… what are you?”
