Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 928: Challenging the Elite Class Alien

Nathan gritted his teeth. If there were another option than the second one, he would definitely choose it.

Although calling Evelyn could solve all the problems he was facing, the more reliant he was, the more Evelyn looked down on him. That was something he couldnʼt afford to have.

In addition, while the gap between him and the elite class alien was huge, it wasnʼt like they didnʼt have a chance at all.

While glaring at the alien, Nathan formed an explosive bullet between him and the alien.

”!!!” The alien was stunned by the speed at which Nathan was unleashing his power. In just a split second, there was something dangerous between them.

*Boom!*

The bullet exploded, knocking Nathan away and stopping the alien from cutting him in two. Meanwhile, Mae used that opportunity to form an illusion to trick the alien into letting her go. Then she moved away, gaining some distance.

Xingtian had gotten back on his feet while Alavenya raised her stance.

”Anubis!” Nathan shouted while recalling and summoning Anubis beside him, even if it meant creating a small hole in their position.

At the same time, Nathan and others suddenly sensed a massive amount of ena fluctuating from the surface.

”!!!” Even the alien was slightly startled, realizing something was going on. There was no way he could let them do it.

Nathan was the first one to react as he used his ena to pump his jump, launching himself to the surface.

Anubis, slightly startled, hurriedly activated his healing ability on both Alavenya and Xingtian.

The alien decided to focus more on the ena fluctuation, meaning he chose to go through Nathan rather than dealing with these four underground.

Mae gritted her teeth as her ena burst out of her body. She concentrated that ena on her feet and leaped up, chasing after them.

Nathan, who was at the highest position, formed bullets and tried to slow down the alien.

However, the alien simply continued as if the bullets couldnʼt hurt him.

Mae, on the other hand, decided to lend a helping hand. She suddenly split into eight and kicked the air, propelling herself up so that she caught up with the alien.

All of them clapped their hands, which surprisingly forced the floor to grow back as if no hole existed.

More importantly, the alien, who was overconfident, tried to slam the floor but found out that the floor didnʼt react as if it was made of an unbreakable material. His body ended up crashing into this floor, stopping his momentum.

The alien was bewildered, not expecting this kind of power could stop him.

Still, there was no way he could stop. The only way to go was to stop Mae from casting this ability.

He jumped toward one Mae after another, punching through her. Mae began to disappear, yet even after all Mae had been taken down, the ceiling still remained.

The alien was confused. It was searching for Mae with its instinct and finally found her, hiding in plain sight. She seemed to have blended with the air, making herself invisible.

But it was useless against such a sharp sense. The alien hurriedly launched its body toward Mae.

”!!!” Mae hurriedly jumped away, breaking her illusion.

The alien was glaring at her, planning to kill her first so that she couldnʼt get in its way anymore.

However, Xingtian had caught up, followed by Alavenya.

Even Nathan bombarded him with explosive bullets.

*Boom!*

*Boom!*

The alien simply waved his hand, showing that the explosion bullet couldnʼt hurt him. The smoke was dispersed to the side.

As the alien found Mae, Xingtian jumped up and struck him from above.

The alien gritted its teeth and raised one arm, blocking Xingtianʼs axe. It then punched Xingtian, which the latter blocked with the shield, albeit it was useless. In the end, Xingtian got blown away again. He was currently too weak against an elite class alien.

Alavenya, on the other hand, continued to the surface as if planning to block the surface so that the alien couldnʼt do anything.

The alien had to choose whether to kill Mae first or break through to the surface.

However, Anubis gave him a different option.

”Where do you think youʼre going, sinner?” The palace suddenly turned gold as, before the alien knew it, he had been trapped inside Anubisʼ domain.

”Raaaa!” The alien slammed its fist into the ground, turning the ground into a huge crater.

However, that was when Anubis deactivated his domain. If it was still inside his domain, his domain would be damaged, and Anubis would have a hard time repairing it.

But if it were the real world, that punch ended up breaking the floor again, sending him back below.

Anubis skillfully climbed up by shooting his bandage and pulled himself up.

With this, all five of them were on the surface while the alien returned to its original floor.

Realizing this situation, the alien stomped the ground and let out a huge roar. In that instant, a series of roars echoed from the outside as if they were responding to the roar of this elite class alien.

At the same time, they could hear a sudden increase in ruckuses outside, as if the aliens were doing anything they could to break through.

At this rate, it wouldnʼt be weird for them to reach the palace and destroy this place.

”…” Nathan finally understood what Mae meant by messing around with fate. At first, he thought the situation would still be under control.

Yet if any of them moved to protect Selena, they wouldnʼt have enough people to somehow stop this alien from reaching the surface. At the same time, the aliens would definitely break through. It wasnʼt a matter of how, it was a matter of when.

Selenaʼs summoning ritual couldnʼt be disrupted, but there was no way they could help her. If they summoned back one of their familiars, the aliens outside would have an easier time breaking through.

At this moment, they were completely stuck. They could only believe in Selena and somehow bought her enough time from this elite class alien.

ʼAh shit… I might be biting off more than I can chew right now…ʼ Nathan cursed his fate.
