Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 910: Five Stars

”I have researched the past, especially the phenomenon that came right after the alien invasion.

”500 years ago. A huge portal appeared on top of the Asura Palace. No one knew what kind of terrifying being was hidden inside that portal, but it was soon clear that everything inside was a being surpassing everyoneʼs imagination.

”The aliens finally invaded our world. Asura Palace was fighting relentlessly, trying to stop them. Meanwhile, the aliens were fierce, but they relied heavily on their physical strength.

”Even though Asura Palace was a kingdom filled with madness, there were so many fierce warriors residing in this place. They killed aliens again and again, but no matter how many times they fought, the aliens would continue pouring into this world.

”The Asura himself fought fiercely against an alien of their race, which was soon known as a mature class warrior, and dragged the alien with him to the afterlife.”

”!!!” This was the first time Flora heard anything about Asura himself. Although people claimed him to be barbaric, she never thought Asura would be this strong. After all, he could kill a mature class alien with his mortal body. There was no ena whatsoever in the past, so it was clear that Asura wasnʼt just a normal human being.

Even with the magic weapons Nathan invented, there might not be a person that could kill a mature class alien by themselves. Yet Asura could do it.

”If such a human were still living in this era, Iʼm afraid Asura would have become a world class summoner or even more…” Flora muttered. She soon shook her head. ”No. I shouldnʼt get distracted.”

She lowered her vision, continuing.

”Asura saved the world, whether people wanted to acknowledge it or not. Because during those three years he fought against the aliens, there was a phenomenon that happened again, specifically 880 days after the alien invasion.

”At first, I couldnʼt believe it, but I looked around the world and learned a similar thing was happening at the same time.

”Hence, I deduced the time and what happened that day.

”Day 880 after the alien invasion, the starry sky was filled with five falling stars. Most people would make a wish, but what actually happened was these five falling stars were the start of our resistance.

”From those 5 stars, three fell on the land and two fell on the sea. However, only one of them actually hit the land… or I should say, the continent we are on right now.”

”!!!” Floraʼs body shook. ”The continent we are on? So, Nathan has already known that there is another land like us across the sea? And even the people from hundreds of years ago are already aware of it? Why did we not know about it?”

Although it wasnʼt an answer, the next page contained a rather bizarre fact.

”Those five stars are not the stars in our sky. Instead, they are actually rocks that contain a lifeform.

”Thatʼs right. After dedicating my life, I have finally found out that those five rocks contain an alien inside of them.

”Although I canʼt find much proof about it, those aliens are our beginning.

”After all, one of those rocks actually fell near Hero Mikhailʼs house.”

”Hero Mikhail? The first ever summoner? No, wait. Falling near his house, the first summoner, alien core, ena… Donʼt tell me.” Flora continued, finding that her suspicion was true.

”The alien inside that rock was the one teaching humans how to become a summoner and introduced ena into this world.”

Flora took a step back. Her heart sank. Never in her wildest dream would she imagine that the reason humanity was still alive was due to alien interference.

”Donʼt tell me. Is this alien doing it for their own amusement? But they wonʼt really do it by sacrificing their own kin, right?” Flora frowned.

”I was taken aback when I learned such a thing. If humans knew that they were the result of the alien interference, I wonder if they could trust the summoners anymore.

”Thatʼs why I have decided to bury this information here. For anyone who finds this book, I hope that you can treat this book that can help humanity.

”The record of that day has been erased. I was lucky to find a trace of it and reconstruct what happened, but that might not be important right now. There is something even more important than this information. Unlike any other aliens I have seen, there is a rumor that this alien doesnʼt have a black cell in it.

”Unfortunately, this is the end of my research. The only one who knows the exact truth is Hero Mikhail himself.

”Thatʼs why I have been trying to separate the black cell from the alienʼs body to see if itʼs possible to converse with them.

”From what I have found so far, there is only one hypothesis I can form from my lifelong research.

”That is… the aliens are also fighting against the black cell. Presumably, the black cell is invading their world, just like how the aliens invade us.

”Those who havenʼt been infected or controlled by the black cell choose to resist against the black cell.

”By making contact with us and teaching us how to fight them, the aliens hope we can grow strong enough to fight alongside them to take down this mysterious black cell. Even after so much research, I canʼt figure out the existence of this black cell, so there are still a lot of mysteries regarding this black cell.

”However, if my theory is right, we have to go into the alien world by using the gate they used to come to this world. Or we can gain some more truth by discovering the other rocks.

”No matter how hard I try, I canʼt find them. Maybe you, who will find this book, will be able to travel across the sea and find the other four rocks to get the truth behind the invasion.”

Flora dropped on her butt. Although it was just a hypothesis, it was quite logical for him to arrive at that conclusion. If the aliens were also resisting the black cell, once they defeated the black cell, the aliens might retreat from this world.

Flora breathed heavily, overwhelmed by the information she had just found. ”I have to inform Nathan and the others about this… Should I inform my father as well?”

While confused, Flora opened the next page, wondering if he had written anything else.

”P.S. If you find this note, you must know Charlotte, since sheʼs the only one who knows about the entrance. However, I asked her for materials and other things and built it myself. She didnʼt get involved in the construction directly.

”So, please pass this message to her. ʼI swear I didnʼt build this place so that I could escape from my wife. She… she sucked me dry every night and I couldnʼt last any longer. I would have died if I didnʼt escape.ʼ”

”…” Flora hurriedly closed the book while pinching the bridge of her nose. ”I read too far.”
