Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 926: Wiped Out

Outside, Flora and Noelle had a hard time fending off thousands of aliens by themselves.

Even though they were accompanied by other familiars, the number was simply too much. It wasnʼt something they could defend with unless they were moving around.

Still, Flora split up their forces into four.

Flora, with her elemental spirits, took care of the entrance facing the north.

Noelle had to protect her, so she remained not too far away. She took the east position and positioned herself in the nearest spot to Flora. This way, she could go to Flora right away in case there was a danger.

In addition, the east was the easiest part to defend, considering they came from the mountain range on the west, which was where most aliens attacked.

Hence, she placed the strongest beings to take the full brunt of the attack. Nathanʼs familiars, Selenaʼs familiars, and Seraʼs familiars.

Last but not least, they needed to create a buffer zone to block the aliens from encircling the palace, so she put Alavenyaʼs familiars there and asked Asmodeus to position himself in between.

He had the sharpest mind among them, so with Asmodeus taking care of that side, everything shouldnʼt be much of a problem.

The battle was extremely fierce. Even for Nathanʼs familiars, they couldnʼt escape unscathed.

Peng had turned into Kun and focused on using his size advantage to sweep as many aliens as possible. Even Anubis didnʼt say anything about his reckless action. This was the only way for them to have the chance to win.

Fenrir, of course, took the front and crushed the enemies head-on, but even with his extreme toughness, his body was covered in wounds. He couldnʼt block all fifty attacks at the same time, so Anubis had to heal him over and over again.

Jinwu and Nidhogg became the primary force to stop the flying aliens, which were the largest portion of the enemies.

However, they alone were not enough. Hence, they were accompanied by Seraʼs familiars, except for Brunhild and Asmodeus. Raphael became their primary guardian to ensure they could last as long as possible.

Of course, Sasha and Amphitrite could help to a certain extent, but their abilities were not suitable for numerous flying aliens since Sasha focused on a one-on-one battle while Amphitrite was good at land and sea battle.

Meanwhile, Alavenyaʼs familiars stood firm. It must be because they had gotten a lot of ena from the previous mission that they had become even fiercer individually. With the help of Asmodeus, who kept blasting the enemies whenever they needed help, they functioned properly as a wall.

The most crucial position was actually Noelle. Even though she was positioned this way, she basically had to stop all aliens coming from a single direction by herself.

She put Murmur in the furthest position since he loved to go on a rampage. The War horseman took the middle since it had the most stability among them.

Finally, Noelle took the other side, allowing her to protect this place and head to Flora in case something happened.

While they were fighting hard, there were still several noticeable things on the battlefield, especially on Floraʼs side.

With Nathanʼs help, she managed to have three Great Spirits, including the light great spirit she summoned not long ago.

These three Great Spirits went on a rampage.

The plant spirit hovered in the air. With a single clap, multiple huge plants emerged from the ground. These plants had a mouth-shaped tip, ultimately eating several aliens in a single bite.

With a wave of her hand, she called forth many vines with thorns, killing a lot of aliens and completely dominating her area.

The light spirit approached the battle in another way but was still as dangerous as the plant spirit.

The light spirit gathered his ena on his palm and somehow shot a massive beam like Nathanʼs pistol, but the size of that beam was bigger and more destructive.

It moved extremely fast, even faster than Alavenyaʼs cat girl. As a result, he managed to protect his area just fine.

Meanwhile, as Floraʼs lifebound familiar, the lightning spirit fought the fiercest to maintain his dignity.

He gathered his lightning in his palms and joined them together before shooting it toward the enemy.

It might not move as fast as real lightning, but the moment the lightning hit its target, it would cause a massive explosion that reduced a lot of aliens to ashes.

Of course, Flora also came to the front, killing as many aliens as possible.

However, they had depleted quite a lot of ena when they were crossing the mountain range.

Even with Nathanʼs efficient plan, they still lost on average 50% of their total ena. In other words, they had to fight all these aliens, not only without their big leader Nathan, but also with only half of the total ena.

It was hard even for a divine beast, let alone other lesser beings.

If Nathan didnʼt hurry, the aliens would definitely break through their rank and enter the palace even if they had to tear it down.

However, Flora noticed something weird about the aliens.

It was true that the aliens had a numerical advantage, but for some reason, the aliens were actually much fiercer than usual.

Even the aliens on the mountain were not this fierce. It was as if they were using their lives just to break through their locations.

And the answer was hidden inside this palace.

Nathan couldnʼt help but curse as much as he thanked fate.

After all, underneath the palace, Xingtian was blown away to the side, buried under the rubble. Alavenya was still standing, but her left arm snapped in a weird way.

Mae was choked on the neck, as she had a hard time freeing herself. The only reason she hadnʼt died yet was due to the other arm piercing Nathanʼs abdomen.

Nathan gritted his teeth, remembering when Mae said, ʼThe consequence of messing with fate might not be something you can handle, such as the appearance of an elite class alien instead of a warrior class alien.ʼ

Yes, a humanoid alien was right before them, crushing Nathanʼs group.
