Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 901: Alavenyaʼs New Familiar

”I will go!” Alavenya nodded without hesitation after hearing the order from Fenrir.

”Alavenya?”

”Trust me. Although my fighting ability is still lacking compared to you, what Nathan wants is something Iʼm good at. We just need to break through, right?” Alavenya looked at the incoming aliens. There were close to a thousand aliens with seven warrior class aliens trying to stop them.

Even if they could break through, it was enough to just slow them down so that the elite class alien could kill them personally.

Alavenya understood it and chose to fight.

”Letʼs go!” Alavenya didnʼt wait for Noelle to answer. She just rushed forward while summoning her four familiars.

”W-Wai—!” Noelle was speechless. She let out a sigh before chasing after her.

The moment they noticed Alavenyaʼs advance, the aliens started to surround her from all directions, trying to overwhelm her with their numbers.

But that was a foolish move.

”Haaaa!” Alavenya shouted, her ena flaring up. They soon flowed toward her hand as it formed a dragon head. ”With the power left behind by my mother, I shall open up a path. Dragon Fist Manifestation.”

Alavenya and the Dragon King already knew that a male body and a female body were fundamentally different. Even if no one wanted to acknowledge it, the male body was much more robust due to human evolution for thousands, if not tens of thousands, of years. However, it didnʼt mean a female body didnʼt have any advantages.

What Alavenya had and realized was that her body excelled more in its flexibility. All this time, she had been fighting like that of a man. Whether it was the Dragon Martial Art or the Second Drive, they relied on their explosive power.

On the other hand, her true strength had been buried because of her pursuit. But there was no need for such a thing anymore.

The moment she let go of that obsession, her fighting style transformed to a more terrifying form.

If she used the Dragon Fist for its explosive power, the Second Drive was implemented to boost the lack of explosive power because of her gender. But what if the Second Drive was not used to boost her power, but her stability?

After seeing Nathanʼs fight, she hesitated no longer. With her fatherʼs approval, she finally chased after the form she had always admired… her motherʼs way of fighting.

The dragon on each hand suddenly transformed to that of claws like the extension of her hands.

”Come!” Alavenya shouted. The aliens closed in and pounced on her, but the latter waved her claws and shredded them apart.

”!!!” Noelle dropped her jaw in disbelief.

After all, Alavenya easily killed so many aliens. There was no sign of her stopping either.

But what she didnʼt realize was that because she continuously used this power, her hands gradually broke apart. This was what made the Dragon King stop his wife from practicing it.

There was nothing to stop her anymore. Alavenyaʼs advance was like that of a bullet. In just a few seconds, she covered two-thirds of the distance between her and the closest warrior class alien. No aliens could reach her before they got sliced apart.

Two mature class aliens suddenly came her way. The lamia struck the one on the right while the cat girl kicked the one on the left, as if telling them not to get in the way.

As if planning to stop her himself, the warrior class alien didnʼt wait for the other warrior class aliens to join him and just confronted her head-on.

Alavenya smirked as she sped up.

The humanoid alien turned its fingers into tentacles. They grew in all directions, trying to distract her.

Alavenya, on the other hand, waved her hands to cut them into pieces. But that motion stopped her from being able to launch the most optimal attack against the alien.

The tentacles turned back as the alien punched Alavenya from above, taking advantage of its height to suppress her.

*Bam!*

Alavenya put both hands on top of her hand, stopping the alienʼs punch, albeit barely. The ground underneath her cracked, and it looked like Alavenya would soon be pinned down to the ground.

”Alavenya!” Noelle clicked her tongue. ”Murmur. War. Stop the aliens around her. I will be helping her.”

Before they could move, Fenrir simply smiled. ”It appears thereʼs no need to do so. Instead, you should focus on the remaining aliens.”

”Huh? What are you talking about?!” Noelle was confused. If it was Nathan who said such a thing, she would believe him right away, but Fenrir was never really in charge.

But Fenrir was correct this time. Even Alavenya knew what it meant to change her form.

The lack of explosive power to take down the enemy would return, meaning there was no way for her to defeat this guy in one go. That was why she discussed the next familiar with Nathan.

After all, the draconian wouldnʼt cut it. The draconian might be a top-tier familiar because not only did they possess a huge strength like that of a dragon, but their ena and ability to use the element was excellent.

It was a familiar that could do anything, but that was the exact reason it wasnʼt suitable for her. This familiar was lacking in explosive power.

What she was lacking was that necessary explosive power that could kill anything in her path, especially the stronger foe.

And this new familiar fixed that problem.

”!!!” The alienʼs body shook as though it noticed the extraordinary power that suddenly appeared out of thin air.

”Kill him!” Alavenya grinned. The alien tried to retract its hand to block the attack, but Alavenya skillfully moved around the hand and locked him in place by utilizing her flexibility.

The alien let out a roar, but it couldnʼt do anything else as an axe cleaved him in two.

…

A few days ago.

Mae raised one finger. ”If you wish for someone like that, I do have a candidate that can help you.”

”Really? What kind of familiar is it? Who?”

”A warrior who doesnʼt know how to admit defeat and keeps challenging the Supreme Divinity. Headless Warrior Xingtian.”
