Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 512: Finding (Bonus)

”If youʼre presented with an opportunity to reach a much higher level, what will you do?” Nathan smiled mysteriously.

”What do you mean?” Sasha tilted her head.

”Literally. I might have a way to increase your quality, but itʼs something I have never tried before. Even the theory is a bit of a stretch. Itʼs something not related to evolution, but itʼs something that can lift you up.”

Sasha widened her eyes in shock. ”I can get stronger?”

Even Sasha knew that her talent was limited, so she didnʼt expect much. Selena was already kind enough to give her a chance to evolve if she found a way in the future, but she knew she couldnʼt keep up with the rest.

Sasha thought for a moment. ”Such a thing must come with a price…”

”Indeed. Are you willing to risk your life and become my subject of experiment?” Nathan nodded with a serious expression. Although he worded it this way, it wasnʼt like Sasha would be in real danger.

After all, it would just be testing the soul contract. Still, Nathan wanted to hide it from Selena just a bit longer, so he might have to utilize the non-disclosure agreement on her.

Nathan raised two fingers. ”First of all, thereʼs a chance for you to evolve. That is, through the summoning ritual. Selena is planning to summon Lilith as her fifth familiar. Since youʼre a creature born from her, Lilith might have a way for you to evolve.

”On the other hand, my method is slightly different. It will independently increase your quality. If you agree, thereʼs a chance that you will evolve through Lilith but reach an even higher level because I increase your quality directly. For example, if youʼre supposed to reach Excellent (High) quality after you evolve, you might be able to get Perfect (Low) quality with the help of my method.”

”Is that actually possible?”

”Thatʼs what I want to test. The theory is possible, but I donʼt know if it can be done or not.”

Sasha fell silent. This was a weird and suspicious offer, but Nathan definitely wouldnʼt harm her, since he wouldnʼt be able to face Selena after that.

As a result, Sasha nodded her head. ”I understand. I will do it.”

”Thatʼs great.” Nathan grinned excitedly. He first formed the contract.

[Party A, Nathan, will conduct an experiment on Party B, Sasha, for Party Bʼs benefits. Party B will have…]

Nathan paused for a moment. ”Well, this is the related ability. A contract. This means an exchange. If I manage to do this, what will you do for me?”

Sasha tilted her head in confusion. ”I donʼt think you have much attraction to this nonhuman body of mine, so I wonder what I should do? Iʼm not really the type to work on a household chore like Risa.”

Nathan thought for a moment. ”How about serving me as a second master like Risa? Itʼs not about maids. Itʼs similar to being a godfather but for summoners.”

Sasha nodded. ”I donʼt have any problem with it.”

Considering she would receive a lot of benefits from this experiment, she wouldnʼt mind serving Nathan as her second summoner.

Nathan nodded and finalized the contract.

[Party A, Nathan, will conduct experiments on Party B, Sasha, for Party Bʼs benefits. Party B will serve Party A as a second summoner. Party B is forbidden to disclose any information related to this experiment, including the contract itself, to anyone other than Party A, even if itʼs Party Bʼs summoner. This non-disclosure agreement will be nullified if Party A discloses the information first or allows Party B to reveal it.]

”This should be enough for the time being.” Nathan showed it to her.

”Yes.” Sasha understood why Nathan wanted her to shut her mouth. Selena hadnʼt seen this ability, so it was normal for Nathan wanting to hide it first.

Sasha wouldnʼt be the only one to benefit from this. If the experiment succeeded, other familiars would definitely receive the benefits.

”In that case, please sign it. You can just use your blood and sign it with your thumb.”

Sasha followed Nathanʼs instruction, which activated the contract. Sasha sensed the change in her mind, which allowed her to understand the nature of the contract.

Without waiting for her reaction, Nathan formed the second contract. ”Letʼs begin the experiment then.”

[Party C, the world, will change Party Bʼs, Familiar Sasha, Quality to a higher rank in exchange for 1,000 ena, which will be paid by Party A, Nathan.]

Unfortunately, raising oneʼs quality was easier said than done. In the end, raising Sashaʼs Quality would impact the world. It was similar to a time element. Rewinding the time would mean affecting the whole world.

The amount of ena to rewind the entire world was something not possible for a single human. At best, he could rewind a few seconds to the past.

However, the fact that it was possible to send the dream from the future, he might only need to be creative in using his contract. Of course, he also considered the possibility that the contractʼs level was still too low to do it.

While Nathan focused on experiments, Noelle and Sera were facing a weird situation.

”Hmm?” Noelle and Sera looked at a massive entrance on the hill.

”Is this the entrance to the nest?” Noelle frowned.

”Yeah. I think so. But…” Sera tilted her head to the side. ”There are entrances on that hill too. No. The entrances are visible on all hills in this area. What is this? An ant nest or something?

”Or is this a tunnel? If theyʼre a tunnel leading to the front line, this is going to be troublesome.”

”Yeah.” Noelle nodded. ”Looking at the size alone, it can easily allow fifty aliens to pass through per second.”

”Should we split up? I can check the tunnel on that hill.” Sera pointed to the hill on the right. ”We will meet up in a few hours.”

”No. Since the entrance is rather suspicious, itʼs better to stay close. We have a lot of time, so letʼs take our time to explore each tunnel.”

”Understood.” Sera agreed.
