Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 502: Return of the Principal

”Where is Principal Sullivan?”

”Where is Vice Principal Vivian?”

”We need an explanation.”

The students were raging outside the student council. In fact, the other members were already having a hard time working in the student council due to the pressure from other students. It could be said that they were terrorized by them because they wanted to know what was actually happening.

Looking at the gloomy atmosphere within the student council, Flora could only sigh. She managed to prolong it for five days, but it couldnʼt go any longer.

”Iʼm sorry, everyone.” Flora stood up. ”It must have been hard for you in the last couple of days. However, thank you for bearing with me.”

Flora walked to the door and opened it personally.

”!!!” The students were surprised because this was the first time Flora showed her face.

Before anyone could speak, Flora raised her fist, as if telling them to shut their mouth. She then started explaining, ”Iʼm sure that everyone is aware of whatʼs happening outside. Because there is a lot of uncertainty, I have kept my silence this whole time.

”However, Iʼve got confirmation about whatʼs going on. Hence, I will formally announce it in the hall three hours from now.

”Instead of forcing your way through to the student council right now, itʼs best to go to the main hall in an orderly manner. Call your friends and all other students in the academy to attend it, as this is going to be an important announcement.

”Regynar, Leon, Lovelia. Please guide them and help me organize the main hall.” Flora waved her hand.

The students looked anxious. One of them couldnʼt help but ask, ”Why would you wait for three hours from now? Why canʼt you just say it here?”

Flora sighed. ”Do you want me to repeat it to every student that I see? Or do you want me to hold it tomorrow after your head becomes cool enough to listen to my words?”

They were baffled, but before they got provoked, Regynar suddenly covered his mouth while saying, ”All right. Letʼs not make it big here. The student council president has decided to reveal the information today, so letʼs cooperate with each other, shall we?”

Regynar dragged the person so smoothly that other students couldnʼt help but give him a way.

In the end, the students began to retreat, leaving Flora in the office alone.

”Ha…” Flora let out a long sigh and walked back to her seat while covering her face. How could she announce that the world was on the verge of destruction?

”I wonder what Nathan will do in this situation? While I have been good at manipulating people, Iʼm not that good at raising their morale.” Flora shook her head. ”No. I shouldnʼt be weak now. Letʼs prepare the best speech I can…”

When Flora was about to grab a paper, someone knocked on the door.

”I have told you to gather in the main hall! Do I need to repeat my—!” Flora opened the door while reprimanding the other party, only to be dumbfounded by who she found on the other side of the door.

”What? I havenʼt heard anything. I guess our student council president is stressed enough to not see the opposite party.” He smiled.

”Principal… Leyfon…” Flora gasped. That was right. The person who had finally returned was the one the academy needed the most.

”I have been here since yesterday, but I donʼt really have much information about whatʼs going on, so I have been observing them.” Leyfon smiled. ”It seems Sullivan has gone back. What about Vivian?”

”Vice Principal Vivian has gone to another place for a different project to save humanity.”

”I see.” Leyfon thought for a moment. ”Why donʼt you brief me about whatʼs happening right now? It seems you decide to reveal it to those students…”

”Yes.” Flora nodded. ”Please enter. Iʼll tell you about everything.”

Flora told Leyfon everything from the supervolcano eruption to the aliensʼ movements.

Leyfon was surprised at first, but all the reasoning made sense that he couldnʼt refute it. Hence, he decided to believe it.

It took her two hours to just explain the situation from the school to the entire world.

Leyfon crossed his arms, pondering. ”I see. Itʼs been hard on you. Thank you for your hard work.”

”No. This is what I need to do as the student council president.” Flora shook her head.

Leyfon smiled. ”In that case, leave the rest to me. Looking at you right now, it seems you want to go to that little devil now.”

”I will at least accompany you for the announcement.” She smiled wryly. ”Iʼm sorry.”

”Itʼs fine. This is outside anyoneʼs control.” Leyfon waved his hand. ”In that case, letʼs head to the main hall. The teachers should be there as well.”

”Yes. The class is suspended for the time being.”

Leyfon nodded. He and Flora headed to the main hall carefully. As expected, the students noticed the appearance of the former principal.

They were confused because Sullivan should have been the principal, so they didnʼt know why Leyfon returned to the academy.

All the students and teachers within the academy had gathered in the main hall. No one other than Flora had a clue as to what was going on, so they were anxious.

This time, Leyfon would be the one announcing the entire thing, showing Flora why he was chosen as the principal instead of anyone else.

Leyfon stood behind the podium with a gentle smile on his face. ”Itʼs been a while, everyone. I wonder if there are people who miss me. Hahaha.

”Well, I can see a lot of anxious faces here, so I guess I shouldnʼt beat around the bush.” Leyfonʼs expression turned solemn.

The moment Leyfon continued, Flora couldnʼt help but widen her eyes. It wasnʼt because Leyfon was very direct. It was because Leyfon was straight-out lying to them.

Leyfon raised a finger. ”Why do you think Principal Sullivan replaces me? Most of you must be thinking that itʼs because of the Divine Hand Organization. Principal Sullivan must have explained it that way too, but thatʼs actually a lie.

”The reason I have to leave is due to the aliensʼ weird movement. A few months ago, I noticed a strange movement and checked it myself. I ran back as fast as I could to tell you everything Iʼd found.”
