Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 511: A Test

Nathan stood up. ”Wait a minute here. Thereʼs something Iʼd like to check.”

”Sure.” Selena was confused why Nathan looked like he was in a rush, but it might not be related to aliens. She couldnʼt see or sense any aliens in the perimeter.

Nathan, on the other hand, muttered, ”Thatʼs right. Can I get a special ability to see a familiarʼs status? This should be considered a special ability, right? In that case, can I contract it?

”The first party will be my eye, but how about the second party? To whom should I make a contract? Elements? No. The world itself? An eye ability that can see through the worldʼs record.

”In the end, all the familiars and their status should be recorded by the world, right? Itʼs not a cultivation world, so itʼs not Heavenly Dao.” Nathanʼs expression turned solemn.

Without hesitation, he took out several magazines and tried to use the contract.

[In exchange for an ability to see through the worldʼs record, specifically the record of familiars and their status, for 5 minutes. Party A will pay 1,000 ena.]

Nathanʼs heart beat rapidly, wondering if this would work.

Unfortunately for him, the contract disappeared without taking the ena.

ʼItʼs not possible?ʼ Nathan frowned. ”Is it not specific enough?”

Nathan contemplated for a moment before changing the term of the contract.

[In exchange for an eye ability to see through the worldʼs record, specifically the record of four familiars: Risa Chiline, Sasha, Yin Zhen, and Amphitrite, for 5 minutes. Party A will pay 500 ena.]

In that instant, Nathan widened his eyes in shock. After all, the contract actually took the ena from one magazine.

”Ha…” Nathan had a lot of things in mind, but he didnʼt have a lot of time.

Nathan rushed back to Selena while shouting, ”Selena. Hurry up. Summon your familiars right now!”

”Eh? Why?” Selena was baffled, thinking there was an alien.

”I canʼt explain, but please, hurry up. There are no enemies, so itʼs alright.”

”…” Selena was confused, but she still fulfilled Nathanʼs request and summoned all of her familiars.

It might be due to her excluding Sasha most of the time that she subconsciously thought she didnʼt have to.

But Nathan immediately added, ”Sasha. Please summon Sasha. Thereʼs something Iʼd like to check.”

Selena hurriedly summoned Sasha, which ended up confusing her as well. After all, Sasha thought she wouldnʼt be called again.

And that was when Nathan smiled.

Name: Risa Chiline

Level: 199

Race: Vampire (Duchess)

Quality: Excellent (Mid)

Risa was as he expected, which allowed him to confirm that what he saw was the truth. He continued to Sasha.

Name: Sasha

Level: 88

Race: Lilitu

Quality: Good (Low)

Sasha, on the other hand, was much lower compared to Risa. In the end, Sasha stopped getting cores after having about 1,500 ena in her body.

ʼThis is…ʼ Nathan was stunned inwardly. He glanced at the other two to confirm his suspicion.

Name: Yin Zhen

Level: 201

Race: Jiangshi

Quality: Excellent (Mid)

Name: Amphitrite

Level: 230

Race: Sea Nymph

Quality: Excellent (High)

He definitely could access the record of the familiars. The big question would be about other familiars. Could he just specify one familiar and get the information about them directly into his brain?

Unlike getting someoneʼs memory, this knowledge wouldnʼt change his personality or something. At the same time, he could actually use this contract to see what kind of ability they had.

The fact that he could get this access meant he could actually change the worldʼs law with his contract.

When he realized it, it felt like a huge door was opened before him. Changing the world law meant he could change oneʼs time. In other words, the dream must be sent from the future.

He could finally understand the true might of this Soul Contract.

ʼCan I change the worldʼs law yet? Itʼs going to require a huge sacrifice, so I donʼt think itʼs possible. But how about using the one million ena coming from the elite class core? Using a portion of it to change the world law while using the rest to contract an element.

ʼIn other words, I will then be registered with an element. This might allow me to gain a permanent element. While I donʼt intend to do it because it will require a huge amount of time to master all of them, getting one should have no problem, which will be similar to having a lifebound familiar.

ʼIf this works, changing Sashaʼs quality can be done as well. Sera also has two familiars in Sashaʼs situation. Alavenya should have two as well, and I donʼt know about Noelle and Flora.

ʼDoing this will require a huge amount of ena, so doing it right now might not be doable, but itʼs plausible.

ʼInnate ability… divine ability…ʼ Nathan looked at Sasha and fell into deep thought. ʼIn that case, what should I do now? Should I wait for Lilith first? Charlotte?

ʼBesides, this information is quite expensive, since itʼs equal to 500 ena. It might be lower because I donʼt haggle in the contract, but I can see not only these four but also other familiars, whether they are allies or enemies.ʼ Nathan didnʼt have any use for that information for the time being, but he might need it in the future.

Nathan took a deep breath before asking, ”By the way, do you mind if I bring Sasha away for a bit?”

”Huh?” Selena became even more confused. He didnʼt say anything to her after rushing back all of a sudden, and the next thing he said was requesting to bring Sasha elsewhere.

Amphitrite was looking at Nathan with a judging gaze because Nathan was being suspicious. He should have done it here.

Nathan, on the other hand, turned solemn as if it was a serious matter.

Selena knew Nathan meant no harm, so she just thought about it briefly and nodded her head. ”Sure, if Sasha doesnʼt mind.”

Sasha nodded her hand as Nathan immediately grabbed her wrist and dragged her away.

”What do you want?” Sasha asked.

”If youʼre presented with an opportunity to reach a much higher level, what will you do?” Nathan smiled mysteriously.
