Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 530: Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Bonus)

Nathan raised his eyebrows. He never thought Noelle would be asking right away. After all, she was supposed to think about this for a while before making such a big decision.

It appeared that the situation was not as big as he originally imagined.

”Hmm…” Nathan rubbed his chin.

”Never mind, I should be the one thinking about what kind of familiar I want…” Noelle waved her hands.

”Well, I do have something in mind, but I donʼt know if it is to your liking or not.”

”You do?”

”Yeah. In fact, itʼs already known in this world. Itʼs the same as the demons or the angels.” Nathan raised a finger. ”At the end of time, they are symbolic figures and are often depicted as the harbingers.

”Each of them has a different horse and carries a different item.” Nathan smiled.

”The four horsemen of the apocalypse?” Noelle asked, feeling she recognized it somewhere.

”Yes.”

”Oh! I wasnʼt religious, but I had heard of them, not that I knew much about them.” Noelle shook her head helplessly.

”The first horseman is riding a white horse and carries a bow. He is given a crown and goes out conquering. In other words, it represents conquest.

”The second horseman is a black horse, representing famine. The horse is black and its rider carries a pair of scales in his hand.

”The third horse is a pale horse, carrying the meaning of death. Its rider is named Death, followed by the realm of the dead.

”However, what I want to talk about is the last horse. The horse is fiery red and its rider is given a great sword and the power to take peace from earth, causing people to kill one another.

”This horse represents war, violence, and bloodshed. This is the only familiar I can think of that will suit your needs. After all, this horseman is carrying a sword while representing war, which is the same as your grandfather, the former marshall of the Azilia Kingdom.

”He holds the authority to protect the country or wage war while still polishing his swordsmanship.”

”War… Horseman…” Noelle muttered those two words multiple times. It indeed matched what she was trying to get.

What she wanted was something related to her grandfather, because that was the only way for her to change her path without going back to where she came from. Once she reached the correct path, she could get all the familiars with complete swordsmanship in their legend.

Besides, these four horsemen were harbingers of the end of time, so their strength should be similar to or even surpassing her latest familiar, who was a high-ranking demon.

And at a time like this, having the ability to wage war, not against humans but against aliens, was actually beneficial for humans.

If she thought about it, she might have everything necessary for the summoning. The item should be a great sword that carried a lot of blood. There should be a cursed sword in the Flamante familyʼs treasury that matched her needs.

In addition, since it was a harbinger, having the help of her demon should be enough to summon him.

Because she had never summoned another familiar after the demon, she had more than enough ena to summon it.

It was true that because of this summoning ritual, she would lose a lot of ena, but that also meant someone else would be helping her fight. No, he might even help her with the swordsmanship, like sparring or exchanging insight.

In their group, no one was using a sword after all, so she had no one to discuss.

ʼWill we have enough time if I go back first? But I have to inform my father at the very least. Or do I have to go to Grandfather? No. Father should have enough authority to open the treasury…

ʼAm I qualified to do so?ʼ Noelle shook her head. ʼNo. I wonʼt know that answer if I donʼt ask him. I need to go back…ʼ

Noelle looked at Nathan, asking, ”Ehm… Is it possible for me to go home for a bit? It wonʼt take long. I promise.”

”Sure.” Nathan nodded without hesitation. ”We have a lot of people, so we can manage. The most important battle will be after the aliens finish the tunnel, which will happen in a week or so.”

”Then… I will go back first. I will apologize to everyone after I return.”

”Yep. Donʼt worry about it. Iʼll inform Flora, so you can go back.” Nathan waved his hand.

Noelle furiously nodded before rushing back to the teleportation circle.

She had to ask the marquis to teleport her to the capital city.

Meanwhile, Nathan smiled wryly before saying, ”Why donʼt you come out already?”

Floraʼs head popped up from behind the wall. In fact, she had been tailing them and listening to their conversation from the stairs.

When Noelle was about to go back, she hurriedly jumped off the stairs and hung onto the wall, almost getting caught.

”Ehehe. Was I that obvious?” Flora asked.

”Not really. Itʼs just your eyes appeared in the corner of my vision one time. If not, I wouldnʼt have noticed.” Nathan shrugged.

Flora leaped over the wall before scratching the back of her head. ”Sorry.”

”Itʼs fine. I guess you have heard everything.”

”Yes.” Flora nodded. ”Well, Iʼm glad that she finally thinks that way. Youʼre not the only one who Sir Sullivan asked to change Noelleʼs perspective.

”However, Noelle is more stubborn than her grandfather. It appears that Sera, or more like Asmodeus, has told her something. And with the reality slapping her hard, she finally thinks about it.

”Iʼm just glad that she is going to change without straying from her path.” Flora sighed. ”Itʼs hard to be her childhood friend. I want to do something for her but continue to fail…”

Nathan shrugged. ”Anyway, you donʼt have to worry about it anymore.”

”Yes. Thank you.”

”If what you said was true, you should thank Asmodeus.”

Floraʼs expression brightened. ”Right? I should thank Asmodeus and participate in what he is doing… and there is only one male here.”

”…” Nathan gulped down. ”Never mind that. I will be the one thanking him.”

”Eh?” Flora pouted before chuckling. ”Hahaha. Thatʼs right. If I want to thank you, I should do it personally. No need to go through Asmodeus.”

Nathan smiled wryly. He just pushed Floraʼs back. ”Letʼs go back and regroup with Selena and the others.”

”Youʼre not completely denying it this time?” Flora tilted her head back but Nathan kept pushing her while saying, ”You need to clean your ears.”

”Eh. I can hear everything clearly or else how am I supposed to listen to your conversation from a distance? Hehehe.”
