Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 519: Royal Vampire (Bonus)

If this was Risa a few months ago, she would be launched away without a fight.

However, even if she took damage, Risa was still able to control her blood.

”Blood Mark!” Risa smirked.

The blood she spat earlier landed on the mutantʼs skin and expanded, turning into a huge tattoo. In that instant, she could sense the alien clearly, while the others would definitely see that huge mark on its skin.

Even if the alien changed his skin, he couldnʼt erase that mark. She still crashed into a tree, though.

On the other hand, Selena had reached him and captured the alien with her avatar.

The alien spread his arms to stop it, but Selena was pouring her ena into the palms, gradually overwhelming the alien.

At the same time, Fenrir waved his tail, releasing a crescent-shaped attack toward the alien. Nathan launched his bullets from the other side. The alien tried to catch the tail attack, but the bullets ended up changing its path, preventing the mutant from finding their exact trajectory.

As a result, nine bullets hit the mutant, destabilizing his stance. Selena injected more power to overpower him, but it was a bit too late.

”Watch out!”

”!!!” Nathan and Selena raised their heads after hearing Fenrirʼs warning.

There was a mature class alien leaping into the air and diving straight toward the avatarʼs arm.

It punched the right arm down, loosening its grip. The mutant immediately hurriedly escaped and changed his skin once again.

Nathan ran toward the mature class alien. The latter wanted to punch Nathan but the latter skillfully avoided his attack and shot the mature class alienʼs stomach at point-blank range.

The bullet pierced through and created a huge hole in its stomach, but the mature class alien could still move. He grabbed Nathanʼs wrist and threw him into the air.

In addition, the mutant jumped toward Nathan to deliver the killing blow, but Fenrir pounced on him at the last second.

The battlefield became chaotic the moment the mature class alien entered. In addition, they could hear the approaching aliens. It was most likely that they would be overrun by them at this rate.

Nathan gritted his teeth. If he ran away from here, it would be impossible to find the mutant again. In addition, he had wasted so much ena that it would be a waste.

Still, could they actually hold the attack from over a thousand aliens on top of the current number?

ʼI can kill those aliens, but I will have to use a lot of ena to do it. In addition, the number is a bit too much for a single person. Jinwu should go, but they will have a hard time against the mutant…ʼ Nathan scanned the area.

He doubted they could kill the mutant before the rest of the aliens reached them, so he had to find the path.

ʼWhat should I do?ʼ Nathan gritted his teeth.

”Nathan. Are you alright?” After recovering from her wound, Risa came to Nathan. ”I have marked him, so we should be able to defeat it.”

”Can you sense your mark even from far away? Like from outside this mountain range? Or maybe tomorrow?”

Risa shook her head. ”No. The Blood Mark is used to mark the enemy and absorb the blood that leaks out of his body. In other words, it will increase the effect of the bleeding. Its purpose is to weaken the enemy.”

Nathanʼs expression turned dark.

”Sorry. I guess Iʼm not useful enough.”

”Enough?” Nathan raised his eyebrows, realizing something. Risa was only 4 times away from becoming a royal vampire. In that case, couldnʼt she evolve if she drank four times worth of blood right now? He was planning to give her his blood after this mission was over, but they couldnʼt really choose.

If they retreated, the mission would be a failure. He had prepared an escape route earlier, but he didnʼt want to fail anymore after he activated that contract.

He might have to risk his life a bit, but he just had to accelerate fast enough to replenish the blood at the same rate as Risa sucking him.

When that idea flashed in his mind, he immediately saw the path to victory.

Nathan immediately shouted, ”Fenrir, Selena, buy us some time. Anubis, heal me.”

The three of them were confused. Even Risa wondered what kind of plan Nathan had just come up with.

Nathan turned to Risa. ”Risa. Suck my blood. You will become a royal vampire now.”

”What? If I do that, you will…” Risa stopped, realizing why Nathan was confident. He wouldnʼt die because his metabolism was accelerated as well.

Still, the amount of blood she sucked was a lot. In fact, Nathan usually needed a few hours to recover even with Anubisʼ help. If she sucked four times worth, Nathan might have to waste a day of his bodyʼs life to replenish the blood.

”I don—!” She wanted to refuse. As Anubis said, Nathan would be suffering a lot more during this period.

Nathan just grabbed her wrist and said, ”Listen to me. Do it now or we wonʼt be able to complete the mission.

”Itʼs just going to be a dayʼs worth, so itʼs fine. The situation is the one forcing me to make this decision, so itʼs not your fault.

”Besides, if you become a royal vampire now, we can just skip one or two sessions, allowing me to rest. Thatʼs why it wonʼt be a problem.

”If we donʼt do this, the alien will disappear or even bring the rest of the aliens elsewhere and we canʼt track them anymore. On the other hand, if you agree, we can defeat not only the mutant but also the rest of the aliens. Jinwu will be fighting with you.”

Risa was speechless. She didnʼt really want to do it, but Nathan added, ”If thatʼs enough, then I order you. Suck my blood and become a royal vampire now!”

”You…” Risa wanted to reject, but both of them heard a series of screeching voices, implying that the aliens were about to reach them.

Nathan was staring deep into her eyes, pleading with her to just suck his blood.

Risa bit her lips before opening her mouth right to his neck.

Nathan smiled even though it hurt. He immediately activated his acceleration, adjusting its speed until his body produced fast enough blood.

Of course, because he sped up his metabolism, it didnʼt take long before he became hungry. He just said, ”Haha. Make me something good after this, will you?” so that Risa didnʼt have to worry.

”!!!” The others gritted their teeth. The mutant was trying to get away and take advantage of the rest of the aliens to disappear, but both Fenrir and Selena made sure that he couldnʼt achieve it. Anubis had sent forth his guardian to take care of the mature class alien that brought the rest of the aliens here.

However, the aliens started reaching their positions, which put them at a disadvantage. Jinwu let Nidhogg and Selenaʼs familiars take care of that side while he headed to Nathanʼs side, releasing all his attacks to stop the aliens.

Sadly for him, that wasnʼt enough.

”Tsk.” Jinwu clicked his tongue. Since there were several of them breaking through, he had to use his physical body to kill them directly, since he had to maintain his ability for the majority of aliens.

Of course, his target of protection was Nathan. Selena and Fenrir should be able to protect themselves, so he could focus on Nathan, albeit it might not even be necessary.

Risaʼs wings suddenly expanded as blood mist began to fill the entire area. Her eyes were closed, but the tears, or, more like blood tears, were streaming down the corner of her eyes. Although the situation forced them, she didnʼt really want to evolve under these circumstances.

The moment she felt her body start changing, she opened her eyes, showing blood-red eyes filled with anger and madness. The blood flared up from the ground like her main ability, the tornado, as a massive amount of ena erupted.

Kill. That was the first thing she wanted to do after becoming a royal vampire.
