Lin Yi raised his eyebrows and glanced at Ito Takuma.

“From the looks of it, it seems you’re here to stand up for them.”

“You hit my people, so I naturally have to stand up for them.”

Originally, Ito Takuma and Yoshikawa Taichi were waiting for Haruka Taro to send Shoko Nakajima over.

Unexpectedly, in the end, Ito Takuma received news that his people had been beaten up. He hurriedly put on his clothes and came over to see what was going on.

He did not expect the situation at the scene to be so horrible.

If this matter was not handled properly, it would have a huge impact on the family’s reputation.

“Alright, send the two bodyguards behind you out.”

Ito Takuma shook his head with a disdainful smile.

“What kind of person do you think I am? Do you think I will fight with you?”

Ito Takuma had just finished speaking when one of the bodyguards took out a gun and aimed it at Lin Yi’s head.

In an instant, the atmosphere in the casino became solemn.

Most of the people here were ordinary people. This was the first time they had seen this kind of thing, and they felt an instinctive fear.

Only then did they realize that the boss of the Chuyun Temple Hotel was more powerful than they had imagined.

Qiu Yukio and Ning Che looked at each other, and their expressions became serious.

Ito Takuma’s expression was arrogant, and his eyes were filled with disdain. “Weren’t you quite arrogant just now? Why aren’t you saying anything now? This is what allows me to look down on you, Huaxian.”

Lin Yi stood rooted to the ground with a smile on his face. Just as he was about to speak, he heard footsteps coming from the door.

Three men in casual clothes walked in.

“W-what’s going on?”

Seeing the situation in the casino, the leader said in surprise.

The leader was Yushi Mitsui’s driver and assistant, Kenji Takayama!

Ito Takuma’s pupils constricted when he saw Kenji Takayama enter.

This kan was a powerful figure in the Yamaguchi-gumi. In terms of influence, his family could not compare to the latter’s.

He did not expect him to come here today!

“Mr. Takayama, I didn’t expect you to be here. You should have called me in advance.”

“I’m here to deal with some personal matters. It’s late and I was preparing to go back tomorrow. I thought I’d hang out here, but you seem to be involved in an accident.”

“These Huaxian people cheated on me. After I caught them, they even hit my men. I was about to teach them a lesson.”

Kenji Takayama snorted coldly. “There’s actually such a thing? Then we really have to teach them a lesson. This is not a place for them to act arrogant!” “Mr. Takayama!”

Shoko Nakajima exclaimed in surprise.

“Miss Nakajima, you’re here too?”

Ito Takuma was stunned.

“Mr. Takayama, do you know each other?”

“Of course. I love Ms. Nakajima’s performances. 1 often go to her shows to support her.”

“I see.”

Ito Takuma’s expression was complicated, but he did not say anything. “Miss Nakajima, what’s going on? Why are you with these Huaxian people?” “They’re my friends. We came to Mount Huji to visit today.” Shoko Nakajima said.

“But they framed us for cheating. That’s not the truth. They framed us. Mr. Takayama, I hope you can help me.”

Kenji Takayama’s expression changed as he looked at Ito Takuma.

“Is what she said true?”

Ito Takuma’s expression was conflicted. In the end, he nodded reluctantly. “This Huaxian was very arrogant, so 1 wanted to teach him a lesson!” “I understand now that you put it that way,” said Kenji Takayama seriously. “Miss Nakajima is my friend. In addition, this matter was originally your fault. Why don’t we forget about it?”

“Since Mr. Takayama has spoken, I’ll give you face and not pursue this matter.” Takayama Kenji nodded in satisfaction.

“Miss Nakajima, the matter has been settled. Do you think this is okay?”

Shoko Nakajima bowed to Kenji Takayama.

“Thank you, Mr. Takayama. I’ll invite you upstairs when you go to the cabaret again.”

“Thank you, Ms. Nakajima.”

“Mr. Lin, this matter has been settled. Let’s go.” Shoko Nakajima said gently. “Why should we leave? We’ll have nothing to do if we go back,” Lin Yi said lightly.

“But…”

Lin Yi didn’t answer him. Instead, he looked at Ito Takuma and said.

“You don’t have to give anyone face. I just want to know how you’re going to handle this.”

Takuma Ito and Kenji Takayama’s expressions changed.

Neither of them expected Lin Yi to say such a thing, and neither did Shoko Nakajima.

Only the people from his group saw this coming.

If Lin Yi left just like that, his name wouldn’t be Lin Yi anymore.

He would go to great lengths for his friends, but in the face of enemies, he becomes an unstoppable force, crushing them ruthlessly like a relentless steamroller, leaving no room for their survival.

Ito Takuma’s expression was cold, and his voice was low.

“I’m not arguing with you out of respect for Mr. Takayama. Don’t go too far.”

Lin Yi shrugged. “Didn’t I tell you? You don’t have to give anyone face.”

Ito Takuma looked at Kenji Takayama.

“Mr. Takayama, I’ve already done as you said, but he’s too arrogant. I think I have to teach him a lesson.”

Kenji Takayama frowned. This was something he had not expected.

Originally, he thought that after cooperating with Shoko Nakajima to finish this show, the plan would move on to the next step.

He did not expect Lin Yi to be so arrogant and bold.

Kenji Takayama’s brain was spinning rapidly. The situation in front of him was escalating very rapidly.

Ito really wanted to attack Lin Yi, but Lin Yi had no intention of leaving.

As an outsider, it was not good for him to interfere. If he acted again, he might give himself away.

Doing so would be unreasonable.

The group might even start to suspect his identity.

“This is a private matter between the two of you. I won’t get involved. You can decide how you want to handle it.”

Kenji Takayama had already made up his mind. With Ito’s guts, he wouldn’t dare to kill Lin Yi. At most, he would cripple him. This ending might be more beneficial to his side.

“Mr. Takayama, Mr. Lin Yi is my friend. Please help him again.” Shoko Nakajima begged.

“I’ve already interceded once for you. Since he doesn’t want to leave, there’s nothing 1 can do,” said Kenji Takayama coldly. He had no intention of helping anymore.

Shoko Nakajima was stunned, not understanding why he was doing this.

If something unexpected were to happen to Lin Yi, the original plan would indeed deviate from its course.

At the same time, Ito Takuma laughed.

“You had a chance to get out of here, but you didn’t cherish it. I hope you don’t regret your decision just now.”

The corners of Lin Yi’s mouth curled up into a smile. Then, he pointed at his head and said in a low voice with a hint of mockery.

“Tell your men to shoot here..”
