“Huh? An instructor at the police academy?”

After knowing the young man’s identity, the other contestants were a little surprised.

This was a professional. Ordinary people were definitely not his match.

He would probably snatch first place.

“Yes, I work at the Zhonghai Police Academy.”

“Then you have to show us mercy later. Don’t leave the rest of us too far behind,” the other contestants said with a smile.

“You’re too kind. I’m not that good. I’m just here to participate.”

The young man smiled, but his expression was abnormally confident.

With his physiology, it would not be a problem for him to win such a small game. These people were not his match.

In addition, the two of them had long known about the event and had secretly practiced at home for a few days, so they would handle this easily.

Seeing that everyone was complimenting her boyfriend, the short-haired saleswoman looked smug.

She subconsciously glanced at Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan. ‘The first place will definitely be ours!’

“I didn’t expect a professional player to join the second group. It’s getting more and more intense.” The host smiled and said.

“But I want to tell the other teams that even though an expert came today, the rest shouldn’t give up. You might be able to take him down and snatch first place. Therefore, everyone has to work hard.”

Ji Qingyan stood not far away and glanced at the man who had just spoken.

She knew that she was useless, but she was still unconvinced. She was still going to try for first place since no one knew who would win.

“Cough, cough, cough…” The host cleared his throat. “Now, the contestants of Group 9, listen to the signal. Once you’re ready, please raise your hand.”

There were no issues here. The contestants of the nine groups raised their hands to indicate that they were ready.

“Alright, all contestants, please get ready. Three, two, one, begin!”

With the order, the nine groups of people in the second round rushed out at the same time.

The young man’s reaction speed was very fast, constantly switching the wooden bricks between his hands. In the blink of an eye, he had taken the lead by more than half a meter.

“Oh my god, this is too fast. Is this kid inhuman?!”

“I’m not even as fast as him when I jog normally. This is too godly!”

Hearing other people’s praises, the young man felt proud.

This kind of competition was child’s play to him. How could these people compare to him?

It was like a joke!

“Yang Long, hurry up. We’re falling behind!”

Hearing his girlfriend’s shout, the young man was stunned.

The young man thought he was already in the first place with his fast speed. Who could compete with him?

He glanced up and saw the person in the third lane had already surged ahead to a position more than ten meters away, moving at a speed twice as fast as his!

Yang Long was stunned for a second. He could not believe that someone was faster than him.

While he was in a daze, Lin Yi rushed another meter ahead, leaving everyone behind.

Ji Qingyan, who was standing at the starting point of the second round, jumped up and down in excitement.

“Lin Yi, you can do it! You’re amazing!”

Ji Qingyan’s beautiful eyes were filled with stars. The feeling of pride she felt was indescribable.

It was as if no one in this world was as powerful as Lin Yi.

“I thought that guy was the most professional. I didn’t expect there to be a god hidden here. There are really crouching tigers and hidden dragons all around us.”

“You can’t judge a book by its cover. Even professional instructors can’t be judged by how they look.”

Hearing the other’s discussions, the short-haired shop assistant and Yang Long’s expressions were a little unnatural. They looked at Lin Yi with even more displeasure.

Ten seconds later, Lin Yi arrived in front of Ji Qingyan.

Ji Qingyan’s excitement was like an irrepressible wave as she gave a thumbs up.

“You’re amazing. I didn’t think you’d be so fast. You’ve left everyone else behind.”

“Now’s not the time to be happy. There’s still the second part to complete.”

“Um…”

After hearing Lin Yi’s words, Ji Qingyan remembered that they still had to start the jumping rope segment.

“Come on, let’s get started.”

Ji Qingyan stood in front of Lin Yi, the distance between them being less than half a meter.

“Did you forget what I told you just now?” Lin Yi reminded softly.

“I didn’t forget. I’ll just jump to my own rhythm. I don’t have to care about anything, right?”

“Yes, are you ready?”

“Yes, yes. Let’s go.”

Piack!

Before the battle is won, the hero falls. Ji Qingyan only managed to get one foot over the rope before she fell.

“I-I’m a little nervous.” Ji Qingyan’s expression was agitated. Although she was a coward on the outside, she still had a competitive spirit.

She didn’t want to be left behind!

“Phew… I’m ready!”

At this moment, someone else also moved on to the second stage.

However, unlike the others, Ji Qingyan did not hold onto her male partner’s shoulders so that they could jump together. Instead, she followed the technique Lin Yi had taught her and jumped at her own pace.

“One, two, three…”

“Eight, nine, ten…”

“Fourteen, fifteen…”

On the sixteenth jump, the two of them made another mistake.

“Quick, quick, five more and we’ll be done.” Ji Qingyan urged, even more anxious than Lin Yi.

Lin Yi smiled and nodded. He could see the passion to win in Ji Qingyan’s eyes.

After this, the two of them did not make any mistakes and easily completed the remaining five repetitions.

At the same time, the short-haired shop assistant and her boyfriend had also completed the second jump rope event. After all, they had secretly practiced it and had a tacit understanding of each other’s rhthyms.

When they reached the third event, Ji Qingyan placed the balloons against their waists and asked, “Are you ready?”

“Alright,” Lin Yi said with a smile. Ji Qingyan was now in charge.

Her desire to win was stronger than he had imagined.

The good thing was that she wasn’t nervous anymore, and she was more focused than before. Halfway through the event, she even ordered Lin Yi around in a serious manner.

Even so, she did not move very fast.

Soon, the third round was over. In order to maintain her stability, Ji Qingyan slowed down a little.

The short-haired saleswoman’s group had already started the last phase.

“It’s over. We’ve been left behind.” Ji Qingyan pursed her lips, unable to hide the disappointment in her eyes.

“The last round is a princess carry. One lap is about 50 meters. They’re only a few meters ahead. It’ll be easy to catch up to them.”

“Really?”

“Of course.”

Lin Yi reached out and pulled Ji Qingyan into his arms, beginning the last phase of the competition.

Seeing Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan behind her, the short-haired saleswoman did not panic at all.

“Tsk, my boyfriend is an instructor at the police academy. His physical fitness is top-notch. You won’t be able to catch up to us even if you work yourself to death!”

“Darling, hurry up and show them what true strength is!”

“No problem!” Yang Long said proudly.

“This last test is about stamina, not technique. No one can compare to me!”

“Hehe, I agree with you!”

“Look, the guy behind is pretty fast!”

Just as the short-haired shop assistant was feeling smug, she suddenly heard someone else’s voice.

He suddenly realized that Lin Yi was getting closer and closer!
