“Haha…”

Lin Yi smiled. “He didn’t provoke you. Why are you badmouthing her?”

“Maybe it’s not to my taste. 1 still prefer Ning Che’s type. This girl is a bit too much for me.”

“She’s a geisha, a famous one at that. This might just be part of her job scope.”

Qiu Yuluo tilted her head and looked at Lin Yi in disdain.

“You haven’t had any experience with a geisha, have you?”

“What the heck?” Lin Yi was taken aback. “You’ve chosen the word ‘experience’ quite accurately.”

“Looks like you’re still a one-dimensional scumbag. You’ve got no class at all.”

“Um… should I thank you for giving me such an evaluation?”

“Let me tell you, the geishas in Sunrise Land are similar to the girls in ancient brothels in Huaxia. The ones who are considered courtesans are very popular. I’ve seen a few people who are quite aloof, appearing just like those female celebrities in the entertainment industry. It’s very rare to find one as approachable as her.” Qiu Yuluo said.

“I think she probably knows you’re rich and wants to make a fortune from you. It would be even better if she could take you down.”

“That’s a little difficult. Even someone like Old Liang, who thinks with his crotch, has no intention of touching her, let alone me.”

“I agree with that. At your level, you probably won’t fancy such a woman.”

After soaking in the hot spring for a while, they drove comfortably to Chuyun Temple Hotel a kilometer away.

The casino was located under this hotel.

The area under the hotel was very large, measuring about the size of two basketball courts.

There were surprisingly many people here, which was beyond Lin Yi and the others’ expectations.

The noise was endless, making it feel no different from the market in the morning.

The appearance of the eight of them attracted the attention of everyone in the casino. Some guests even revealed infatuated gazes.

However, the most eye-catching person was not the flirtatious Ning Che, but Shoko Nakajima.

When many people saw her, they pointed at her and discussed it non-stop. Many people recognized her.

“What are these old perverts mumbling about?” Liang Jinming said.

“Maybe they had previously seen my performances and recognized me,” Shoko Nakajima whispered.

“In that case, I understand. As expected of a top courtesan. Her status is almost comparable to a celebrity.”

“Mr. Liang, don’t tease me. There are actually many courtesans in Kabukiko. I’m just one of them.”

“I’ve been to your shop once before. It’s ranked in the top three in Kabukiko. I don’t think many people can compare to you.” Liang Jinming said.

“Then 1 guess these old perverts must have visited your shop before.”

Shoko Nakajima smiled shyly. In Sunrise Land, this was a form of praise.

Two bodyguards in black suits were guarding a baccarat table on the side of the underground casino.

At the table sat two men in casual clothes. There were more than ten million yen worth of chips in front of them. They were having a great time.

“That woman looks familiar. I think I’ve seen her somewhere before.”

The person who spoke was bald, and the pile of chips in front of the table was as high as a hill.

His name was Yoshikawa Taichi, and he was the general manager of Mitsui Heavy Industries. He was a powerful figure in the company.

Beside Yoshikawa Taichi sat a young man.

The man’s name was Ito Takuma. He was the general manager of the Izumo Temple Hotel, and his father was the co-founder of the place.

“I know her. Her name is Shoko Nakajima. She’s one of the three top courtesans in Kabukiko. She’s very famous there. I’ve even been to her show before. Her standards are indeed very high.”

“Mr. Ito, we’re going to discuss something later. Can you call her over to liven things up? I’m very interested in her.”

“Of course.” Ito smiled and said, “I’ll get someone to inform her and ask her to come over.”

On the other side, the group saw many people looking over.

Liang Jinming raised his eyebrows and glared at them, causing those who coveted Shoko Nakajima to look away.

Then, Qin Han and the others purchased hundreds of thousands in chips and went to different card tables, preparing to slaughter the masses.

Jiang Qing did not know much about these things, but she was very curious and kept following Ning Che.

Meanwhile, Lin Yi, Qiu Yuluo, and Shoko Nakajima sat in the resting area, eating and chatting.

They planned to take a break before going over to play.

“Hello, are you Miss Shoko Nakajima?”

Just as the three of them were chatting, a man in a black suit stood in front of Shoko Nakajima and spoke very politely.

Seeing the person who suddenly appeared in front of them, the three of them were a little surprised. After thinking for a long time, they came to the conclusion that they did not know this person.

“I am. May I ask who you are?”

“Let me introduce myself first. I’m the manager of the Izumoji Hotel, Haruka Taro. Our general manager, Mr. Ito Takuma, would like to invite you for a cup of tea.”

Although there was only a discrepancy of one word between the title of manager and the general manager, there was a world of difference between the two positions.

Harutaka Taro was just a worker, while the role of general manager was usually shouldered by the direct descendants of the family.

In other words, the man named Ito Takuma was the young master of the Izumo Temple Hotel.

Shoko Nakajima was a little surprised and afraid. She subconsciously leaned closer to Lin Yi.

“But 1 don’t know you.”

“Miss, I’m afraid you’ve misunderstood.”

“Mr. Ito has seen your performance before, so he recognized you immediately. That’s why he asked me to come and invite you to his room to catch up. Of course, we’ll pay the necessary fee as well.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Haruka Taro made an inviting gesture.

“I’m sorry, I’m here to have fun with a friend. If Mr. Ito wants to see my performance, he can go to Kabukikonext time.”

Haruka Taro glanced at Lin Yi and said to him,

“Mr. Ito, our general manager, will be discussing something with a business partner. He wants to invite Ms. Nakajima to liven things up. He hopes that you will agree.”

“Huh?”

Lin Yi was surprised. “She rejected you. That’s her business, so you have to tell her this. What’s the point of telling me?”

“Miss Nakajima came with you. If you’re willing, I think Miss Nakajima would come with me.”

Lin Yi shrugged. “This has nothing to do with me. Just ask her.”

“Well…”

Haruka Taro’s expression froze. “Miss Nakajima…”

“I have to accompany Mr. Lin, so I’m sorry.” Shoko Nakajima bowed.

Haruka Taro’s expression changed slightly. “Since Miss Nakajima doesn’t want to go, we won’t force you. However, Mr. Ito might not come to your place to support you in the future.”

“If Mr. Ito can’t go again, then it’s really a pity. But I have no choice. I have to accompany Mr. Lin.”

“Then I’ll leave you to it.”

Haruka Taro turned around and left, but before he left, he took a deep look at

Lin Yi..
