Qin Han and the others looked at Lin Yi with interest.

At the same time, they gritted their teeth in jealousy.

It had only been a few minutes since they met, and he was already being targeted by the courtesan?

These kind of people should be drowned in a pig cage to serve as a warning to others!

“Alright, I’ll come and support you when I have time.”

“Mr. Lin left in a hurry today. I’m sure I didn’t entertain you well. When you come again in the future, I’ll make Mr. Lin returns satisfied.”

“That’s very thoughtful of you. The service is so good. I wish you a prosperous business, a bountiful income, and a steady stream of customers.”

With that, the four of them left the custom shop. The streets were still lively. In some secluded corners, they could even hear decadent music. This also proved Kabukiko’s reputation.

In front of the window on the second floor, Shoko Nakajima quietly closed the window and walked upstairs as she watched Lin Yi and the others take a taxi.

Compared to the second floor, the third floor was much quieter.

Shoko Nakajima’s footsteps were very light. She walked on the wooden floor without making a sound.

Finally, Shoko Nakajima stood in front of the innermost door and gently knocked on it.

The door opened to reveal a man with prominent cheekbones. Shoko Nakajima bowed slightly and walked in.

Inside the house, a haggard old man sat at a small square table, sipping tea.

Lin Yi also knew this person. He was the second-in-command of the drug research institute, Yushi Mitsui.

Although he had a lot of authority in the Mitsui Clan, he was not a core figure.

So, many years ago, Yushi Mitsui had already started planning within the Yamaguchi-gumi.

On one hand, he presented himself as a pharmaceutical scientist, while secretly expanding his influence.

It was only when his grandson died in Huaxia that Yushi Mitsui’s plan was disrupted, and he took action.

Yushi Mitsui’s departure dealt a massive blow to the Mitsui family.

Yushi Mitsui was in charge of the biological laboratory belonging to the Mitsui family.

Without him, the effect would be similar to Lin Yi’s photolithography machine project without Shen Tianzhuo.

Yushi Mitsui was the first to notice Lin Yi’s trip to Sunrise Land.

Caie Mitsui wasn’t the one who arranged the hotel and accommodation.

Although she liked Lin Yi very much, it wasn’t to the extent where she would be this meticulous.

“What do you think of him?” Yushi Mitsui asked softly.

“I can’t see through him.”

“Can’t see through him?” Yushi Mitsui paused for a moment. “Was there no progress at all?”

“Originally, there was, and I had a drink with him. However, before I could get any closer, he got up and left.”

“Left…”

Yuushi Mitsui’s expression froze slightly, and even the air in the room froze.

“Was he aware of it, or was it a coincidence?”

“I don’t know.”

Bang!

Yushi Mitsui raised his teacup and smashed it on Shoko Nakajima’s head.

The latter’s body trembled, but she did not dare to dodge.

There was a red mark on her smooth forehead. The tea flowed down her face, making her look exceptionally miserable.

However, Shoko Nakajima did not move. She endured the pain and did not dare to make a sound.

“He, he’s different from others,” Shoko Nakajima whispered.

“He doesn’t seem to be interested in me, unlike other men.”

Yuushi Mitsui frowned. “Do you think I’ll forgive your mistake by telling me this?”

“I wouldn’t dare.”

“If you can’t settle such a small matter, scram!”

“Yes, Boss.”

Shoko Nakajima left the room quietly. The entire room was filled with a sinister aura.

“Boss, this might be a coincidence,” said the driver, Kenji Takayama.

“Nakajima’s ability is obvious to everyone in the organization. In addition, that person called Lin Yi does have extraordinary ability. It’s impossible for him to be tempted by a woman.”

“I know,” Yushi Mitsui said.

Although he had not interacted much with Lin Yi, as an old silver coin who had lived for decades, Yushi Mitsui’s ability to read people far exceeded that of ordinary people.

Therefore, he had long believed that Lin Yi wasn’t a simple person. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be so careful.

However, Shoko Nakajima was the crux of the entire plan.

If she couldn’t take Lin Yi down, it would be very difficult for his subsequent plan to proceed.

“I’ll tell her what to do next,” said Kenji Takayama.

“Lin Yi isn’t a simple man. I don’t think he’s any inferior to Caie Mitsui, so we have to be more careful. It won’t be good if he notices something,” Yushi Mitsui said.

“Yes, Boss!” said Kenji Takayama.

“However, I think that with Nakajima’s charm, it won’t be a problem for her to attract Lin Yi’s attention. It’s just that time she lacked time, so she wasn’t too effective.”

Yushi Mitsui nodded.

“About the gene serum, the Mitsui family and I only have half of the core technology, so you have to keep a close eye on Lin Yi. If he wants to work with Caie Mitsui, kill him immediately. If we can’t get it, we can’t let others get it either.”

“Got it, Boss. I’ll take care of this.”

“How’s the situation at the Black Gold Corporation? Did they say when they’re coming?” Yushi Mitsui asked.

“Their people will arrive at Toyo Airport tomorrow afternoon, but the exact time of the transaction hasn’t been confirmed yet. They said that they want to reconsider,” said Kenji Takayama.

“Because of what happened last time, these people are already on guard, so they’re all very careful.”

“These are all trivial matters. Speaking of which, I still have to thank them.” Yushi Mitsui said,

“If it weren’t for the previous transaction that went wrong, Black Gold Corporation wouldn’t have changed their mind to working with me. This is an opportunity for us.”

“Yes, it is.”

“Keep a close eye on the deal with the Black Gold Corporation. This is the first step of our plan. We can’t make any mistakes,” Yushi Mitsui said.

“It’s the same for Caie Mitsui. We can’t let her know that the people from the Black Gold Corporation are here. Otherwise, she’ll ruin our plan!”

“Understood, Boss!”

“Go. You’re no longer needed here.”

Kenji Takayama bowed, then closed the door and retreated from the room.

When Lin Yi and the rest returned to the hotel, they realized that Ji Qingyan and the other two had already returned.

They bought a lot of things, but many of them were accessories. They were extremely exotic.

“You guys went shopping tonight?”

“What else would we be doing?” He Yuanyuan asked.

“You don’t think we went to the male strip club to watch some little brothers dance, do you?”

‘F*ck, her guess is f*cking accurate.’

“Come, come, come. Look at this hair clip 1 bought. Does it look good?”

Ji Qingyan said as she held a hair clip embedded with a blue crystal.

“It’s not bad. Your skin is noticeably fairer after you put it on.”

“Your aesthetic sense is truly good.”

“Stop showing off your hair clip. Didn’t you buy a dress as well? Hurry up and show it to him..”
