With that, Lin Yi continued typing on his phone as if he was explaining something.

Caie Mitsui’s eyebrows furrowed slightly. Then, she also began to make a call on her phone.

However, she was trying her best to keep the conversation to herself. She didn’t want Lin Yi to know too much.

Lin Yi glanced at Caie Mitsui out of the corner of his eye and deleted the two WeChat messages.

“Fortunately, it didn’t take more than two minutes. Otherwise, I’d have to waste my breath explaining again,” Lin Yi said in his heart.

About ten minutes later, Caie Mitsui finished arranging everything and said,

“Let’s go to the office. I’ll show you around.”

“I saw that you were quite busy just now. If you have something to do, I’ll head back first.”

“It’s nothing. Nothing is more important than you.”

“Then let’s go. I have nothing to do.”

Lin Yi’s plan had thoroughly deceived Caie Mitsui. She was not suspicious of him at all.

She had already reserved the afternoon and evening for him, so it would be rude to let him go just like that.

It might just be impossible to meet him again in the future.

That afternoon, Caie Mitsui brought Lin Yi to Mitsui Heavy Industries and Mitsui Precision.

These two industries were the pillars of the Mitsui family. To a certain extent, they represented the development of heavy industry and technology in Sunrise Land.

Lingyun Group was not involved in the heavy industry, so they did not know much about it.

However, some of the secrets could be seen from the various equipment in the factory.

As an international powerhouse in the field of mechanical engineering, the island nation’s strength and foundation were indeed robust, placing it alongside Deguo at the forefront of the world.

In the field of technology, although Lingyuan Group was considered outstanding, there was still a gap between them and Sunrise Land.

These things were objectively true and could not be denied.

However, Lin Yi was not discouraged. In just a few decades, Huaxia had developed to this point. Such results were already gratifying enough.

The road had to be walked step by step. Food had to be eaten spoonful by spoonful. The country had to be given some time to catch up.

However, Lin Yi did not care about this. What he wanted was to find clues about Black Gold Corporation.

However, Caie Mitsui did not mention this matter for the entire afternoon. She only received a phone call and made some simple arrangements. She did not expose any useful information to him.

“Mr. Lin, how is it? Can you offer me any comments?” Caie Mitsui asked with a smile. She was even a little proud.

“It’s indeed not bad. It’s a pity that we don’t have any projects in this area and can’t cooperate.”

“Actually, we are performing a lot of research in the field of artificial intelligence and chips. In this aspect, we have business with the Lingyun Group. It just depends on whether you’re willing to give us an opportunity to work together.”

“Don’t panic. You’ll get a chance.”

Caie Mitsui smiled shyly, like a young girl who had just fallen in love.

“Mr. Lin, it’s getting late. Let’s go eat something.”

“As the host wishes. I am just accompanying you today, so you can arrange the schedule as you see fit.”

“I usually make some food myself. If Mr. Lin doesn’t mind, 1 can make some for you too.”

“I wouldn’t say I’m avoiding it, but I don’t want you to trouble yourself. Let’s find a place and grab a quick bite.”

“Good. There’s a very tasty tempura shop nearby. 1’11 take you to try it.”

“Okay.”

After making up her mind, Caie Mitsui brought Lin Yi to dinner.

The place where they ate was a little different from what he had imagined. It was a very small restaurant, and they had to go up to the second floor.

However, as soon as he walked in, he could smell a faint fragrance. It was a little like the fragrance of tea and was not pungent at all.

The wooden steps and decorations, as well as the pale yellow light, made his tired heart relax at this moment.

The two of them went upstairs. The decoration here was a little like a bar counter.

There were four chairs in front, which meant that only four diners could eat at the same time.

Inside the bar was an old man and two middle-aged men.

Judging from their tone and attitude, they should be master and disciples.

“Mr. Hayashi.”

When they reached the second floor, Caie Mitsui bowed slightly.

The old man’s name was Saitome Hayashi, and he was a Master of tempura in Sunrise Land.

In this chuunibyou country, he was also given the name of “God of Tempura”.

Saitome Hayashi, who was reprimanding his disciple, immediately changed his expression into a smile when he saw Caie Mitsui.

“Miss Mitsui, this way please.”

“Thank you.”

Caie Mitsui took the menu and ordered some signature dishes before handing them back.

“Mr. Hayashi’s culinary skills are very good. He’s very famous within the world’s gourmet circles. Anything you order is sure to taste good.”

Caie Mitsui was like a woman in love. It was hard to imagine that she was the one who shot and killed Ito Mitsui back then.

“I believe in his skills, but why do 1 feel that he has been looking at you with a lecherous gaze?”

“You’re right. Other than being a tempura master, Mr. Hayashi’s greatest hobby is to look at young and beautiful girls.”

Caie Mitsui covered her face with a smile. “That’s why many girls will deliberately come here. If Mr. Hayashi is willing to smile and watch them talk, it means that they are beautiful enough. This is a symbol of status for them.”

Lin Yi was speechless.

This old pervert was really something.

Lin Yi felt that he was inferior to this man. His life was not as carefree as his.

Soon, the dishes that Caie Mitsui ordered were served one by one.

Lin Yi felt that Sunrise Land was really a magical country.

It would just be called a fried skewer by the roadside in Huaxia, but it was rebranded to be called tempura? here. Moreover, it almost seemed like a premium item.

Most importantly, a lecherous old man who sold fried skewers had received three-star Michelin stars. It was really awesome.

However, after tasting it, Lin Yi found that the taste was indeed not bad.

This was especially true for the prawn heads and mushrooms. The heat and taste were controlled very well. This was elevated when coupled with a bowl of clear vegetable soup, which erased the greasy texture very well. It seemed that the title of God of Tempura was not without reason. He deserved it.

“How do you feel?” Caie Mitsui asked expectantly.

“It’s alright, but the batter can be improved. If that happens, it will taste different.”

“Oh?”

Caie Mitsui was slightly surprised. “Do you think that it’s not perfect enough in terms of taste?”

“That’s not what I meant. It’s already very good. It’s just that it can improve a little more.”

Because he had opened a restaurant before, the system had given him a master-level culinary reward, so Lin Yi had a lot of say about this.

“Sir from Huaxia, I don’t think you should be bold enough to evaluate my work based on your preferences. This is wrong,” Saitome Hayashi said coldly.

“Don’t be angry. If you don’t believe me, you can add a little lemon juice and sea salt to it and see how it tastes.”
