The driver soon fetched the three of them to Akihaeba.

In the past, Lin Yi had only heard that this was a paradise for otakus, but he didn’t know much about it.

However, he realized that his previous thoughts were definitely one-sided.

The level of prosperity here exceeded his imagination.

Electric, digital, peripheral, cosplay…

As long as he could think of something related to the 2D world, he could find it here.

Of course, there were also maids who invited you to visit their cafes, which made you feel very appreciated.

“Brother Lin, Old Gao, 1 think this maid outfit is pretty good. Aren’t you two going to buy a few sets?” Liang Jinming asked casually.

“This style doesn’t suit me.”

“Brother Lin, you’re being pretentious again. We’ve known each other for so long. Do you think I don’t know your preferences?”

“I mean, this kind of serious style doesn’t suit me.”

“I knew it.”

It is said that men remain young at heart until their death, and this description fits Lin Yi and the other two perfectly.

Although he only thought he would be strolling around, he still bought a lot of things after shopping for a while.

One Piece, Naruto, and EVA merchandise were all snapped up.

After throwing the things they bought into the car, the three of them arrived at a maid cafe under the lead of the flashy Liang Jinming.

All the waiters in the shop were wearing maid outfits. The skirts were so short that they reached the tops of their thighs while the secret sight was faintly discernible.

“Ah!”

Just as the three of them were chatting and waiting for coffee, they suddenly heard a scream.

They turned their head and realized that a woman carrying a canvas bag had been knocked to the ground.

“Is that her?”

Initially, the three of them did not pay much attention to it. However, after taking a closer look, they realized that the girl who had been knocked to the ground was actually Shoko Nakajima, whom they had met yesterday.

The current Shoko Nakajima was dressed differently from yesterday.

She was wearing blue jeans, white canvas shoes, and a light pink cotton T-shirt. Coupled with a canvas bag printed with cartoon characters, she was almost indistinguishable from yesterday’s geisha.

This feeling was different from when Ji Qingyan had changed into the JK uniform.

Even though Ji Qingyan was wearing the Kawai JK uniform, she still exuded the aura of a mature woman.

Her every move was calm and elegant.

However, Shoko Nakajima was different. She gave people the feeling that she had always been like this.

The geisha gig was just a job for her to support her family.

“This is too much of a coincidence. 1 just heard her sing a little song yesterday, and we are bumping into her again today.” Liang Jinming said.

“This might be fate,” Gao Zongyuan said. “Brother Lin, it’s time for you to act. Go quickly. We won’t tell Sister-in-law.”

Before Lin Yi could do anything, he was pushed out by Gao Zongyuan and Liang Jinming.

“F*ck”

“Mr. Lin?”

Seeing Lin Yi suddenly appear in front of him, Shoko Nakajima was a little surprised. After all, they had just met yesterday.

“Is everything all right?”

At this point, Lin Yi had no choice but to finish his act and extend his hand.

“Yes, I’m fine.”

Shoko Nakajima’s face was a little red. She reached out her hand in embarrassment and Lin Yi helped her to stand up.

“It’s good that you’re fine.”

“Yes, yes,” Shoko Nakajima whispered.

“Watch where you’re going next time!” The man who bumped into Shoko Nakajima said, “If you hurt my girlfriend, 1 won’t let you off!”

■Huh?’

Lin Yi looked at the man who spoke. He was in his twenties and was wearing shorts and slippers. He held Hatsune Miku merchandise tightly in his hand as if he was guarding his wife.

Lin Yi was about to give this man a thumbs up.

No matter what, Shoko Nakajima was considered a beauty. Under such circumstances, he actually dared to scold her?!

Moreover, he even called Hatsune Miku his girlfriend?

This discordant scene reminded Lin Yi of a joke.

The ant said to the elephant, ‘I am carrying your child. You are responsible for me.’

The elephant said to the ant, “Let’s do it again.”

After this, the ant was scared to death.

“I-I’m sorry.”

Shoko Nakajima bowed deeply and quietly stood behind Lin Yi.

“Fortunately, my girlfriend is fine. Otherwise, I would definitely teach you a lesson!”

After threatening her, the otaku left with his “girlfriend”.

Lin Yi had a headache. This guy was really f*cking delusional.

“Thank you, Mr. Lin.” Shoko Nakajima bowed.

“It’s a small matter.”

Lin Yi welcomed her to her seat. “Are you an anime enthusiast too?”

“No, no, no. My brother likes these things very much. He also likes to eat the cake here, so I came to buy him a slice.”

With that, Shoko Nakajima waved the small box in her hand. “I’m going to bring it back to him later.”

The cake box was very small. Lin Yi looked at it and felt that the cake inside might not even be as big as a dumpling.

“With your income, you should be very rich. Why are you buying so little?”

This was what Lin Yi and the other two were more curious about.

With her current outfit, she was not even comparable to the working class in the country. It did not match her status as a geisha.

After all, the set meal he ordered from her yesterday was already more than 50,000 yuan.

Shoko Nakajima lowered her head, combed her hair, and whispered,

“A lot of money was taken away by the boss. 1 still have to pay my family’s debts with the money I earn, so I have to use it sparingly.”

Liang Jinming and Gao Zongyuan looked at each other.

He felt that this was a script designed personally for Lin Yi.

A story of a handsome and wealthy man unexpectedly encountering a courtesan geisha, rescuing her from her profession, and eventually falling in love with her.

“That’s pretty tough.”

Lin Yi didn’t say anything. He always knew when to stop.

“It’s not hard. I’m used to it.” Shoko Nakajima combed her hair and said gently,

“Mr. Lin, are you meeting anyone else? If you don’t mind, 1 can show you around. I want to thank you.”

“Shopping isn’t a great way to show appreciation.” Liang Jinming smiled and said,

“How about you offer something more substantial as a token of appreciation?”

Shoko Nakajima blushed and lowered her head in embarrassment.

“I can buy you dinner.”

“Do you have money?” Gao Zongyuan asked with a smile.

“I do!” Shoko Nakajima said, “But I can cook too. My food is delicious. You can go to my house.”

“Shall we go to your house together?”

“Yes, yes. Do 1 have the pleasure of inviting you?”

Liang Jinming and Gao Zongyuan looked at each other. Although she had invited the three of them, they knew that they were not wanted.

She was clearly infatuated and had secretly fallen in love with Lin Yi. Thus, they had to be sensible.

They could not get involved.

Ring ring ring!

Just as the two of them were waiting for Lin Yi to speak, they heard his phone ring.

Taking out his phone, Lin Yi assumed it was a call from Ji Qingyan.

To his surprise, it was Caie Mitsui.

In an instant, Lin Yi’s heart beat faster, but it quickly calmed down!

At this moment, he could not be nervous!

“Hello?”

“You came to Sunrise Land?”
