“Mrs. Lin, have you thought about it and decided you want to travel to Sunrise Land with us?”

Lin Yi joked in the office.

“It’s mainly because you’re so sincere. i can’t bear to reject you, so I reluctantly agreed.”

“Alright, alright. Thank you, Mrs. Lin.” Lin Yi smiled.

“It’s really our Lin family’s honor that you can come with me.”

“It’s good that you know this.”

“It’s three o’clock now. Pick me up. We’ll go over now and have meal after we’re done.”

“Alright, I’ll come over now.”

“Yes, yes. Drive slowly. There’s no hurry.”

After hanging up, Lin Yi packed his things and prepared to leave.

However, at this moment, the office door was pushed open.

He Yuanyuan was wearing a long dress and light makeup. She carried an LV bag as she walked in.

“Huh? What are you doing here?”

“I’m going to pick up my senior sister with you. Let’s go shopping.”

“We’re going shopping. Why are you getting involved?”

“My senior sister asked me to go.” He Yuanyuan said with a straight face.

“I’m leaving for Sunrise Land tomorrow. I naturally have to buy some new clothes. 1 want to look beautiful.”

“No matter how beautiful you are, you’re not as beautiful as my wife.”

“I know. I still have some self-awareness.” He Yuanyuan said.

“But Senior Sister is from the Chaoyang Group and I’m from the Lingyun Group, so she doesn’t count. I want to defend my reputation as the number one beautiful executive of Lingyun Group.”

“Don’t joke around, Tian Yan is not inferior to you in any way.”

“She might be tougher than me, but in other aspects, we are quite similar. I won’t be outdone by her either.”

“You have to look for Old Gao for this. Let him pamper you more. Since Tian Yan doesn’t have a boyfriend yet, this is a good opportunity for you to surpass her.”

“That makes sense. That’s why our Old Gao will join too.”

“Huh? You still want to bring another family member? There’s no such thing as family member in a company trip. Don’t talk nonsense with me. Other than myself, the other employees can’t be freeloaders.”

“Who said I would bring family members? Old Gao assigned me to the logistics team. I’m also a member of Lingyun Group, so it’s legitimate for me to participate in the company’s team-building activities. It can’t be considered freeloading.”

“I never thought you guys, the so-called prestigious university graduates, would scheme against me and set me up with your little plan.”

“Alright, stop wasting time. Let’s go. Senior Sister is still waiting.”

“Why are you so anxious? Shouldn’t you call Old Gao over?”

“Why would I ask him to buy me clothes today?” He Yuanyuan asked.

“In any case, if you go and help fund my purchases, this will save my Old Gao some money.”

“Awesome. You are really one of a kind.”

Lin Yi was speechless. He really hadn’t argue against He Yuanyuan this time around.

With the car keys in hand, the two of them made their way to the entrance of Chaoyang Group. A few minutes later, Ji Qingyan came down gracefully.

“Are we going to Times Square?”

“Let’s go to Henglong. It’s better than Times Square,” Ji Qingyan said.

“Also, 1 heard that Henglong Plaza is holding a shopping celebration and an event. Let’s go and check it out.”

“Let’s go.”

Lin Yi searched for the location of Henglong Plaza on his phone and drove over with the two of them.

After driving for more than an hour, Lin Yi parked the car at Henglong Plaza.

He looked up and realized that this place was indeed a little more upscale than Times Square and Wanda Plaza. It was comparable to the SKP in Yanjing.

Furthermore, a banner had already been raised outside the mall. On it was written: “Warmly celebrating Henglong Plaza’s fifth anniversary shop celebration.”

“Time flies. I recall that Henglong Plaza has only been open for a few years, but it seems that it’s already the fifth anniversary of the store’s opening,” Ji Qingyan said.

“You’re busy with work every day, and this place is far from your company. You don’t come here often, so it’s natural that you wouldn’t realize this.” He Yuanyuan said,

“I remember it clearly. It’s five years old.”

“How do you remember it so clearly?”

“Because I’m very sensitive to time,” He Yuanyuan said pretentiously.

This scene carried a taste of Lin Yi’s usual arrogant charm.

Just then, two young women dressed in short skirts and uniforms passed by the three of them while chatting.

“Our boss is really good at pulling tricks. It’s not even the fourth anniversary yet, and he’s already throwing the fifth-anniversary celebration. What a marketing genius!”

He Yuanyuan,”…”

“Aren’t you supposed to be very sensitive to time?” Lin Yi asked.

“That’s normal. Who hasn’t made a mistake before? I’m not a robot.” He Yuanyuan said.

“If I continue to be so outstanding, how can others live with themselves?”

Ji Qingyan glanced at He Yuanyuan, then at Lin Yi.

These two people were really becoming more and more alike.

“Let’s go, let’s go. Don’t just stand here. Let’s go in quickly.” He Yuanyuan also felt a little awkward. She wanted to go in quickly to avoid this topic.

Although she was becoming more and more like Lin Yi, she wasn’t as extreme as Lin Yi.

“Eh, look at these two flower baskets!”

As it was a store celebration, there was a thick red carpet at the entrance. On both sides of the red carpet were two rows of large flower baskets to celebrate the complex’s fifth anniversary.

The reason for her exclamation was because there were two flower baskets from Lingyun Group and Didi.

Lin Yi shook his head, indicating that he didn’t know about this.

“Previously, Henglong Plaza had a collaboration with Didi. Now that the mall is celebrating their anniversary, Director Tian sent two flower baskets over. One was sent by Didi, and the other was sent by Lingyun Group,” He Yuanyuan said.

“So that’s what happened.”

“Let’s go in and take a look.” He Yuanyuan pulled Ji Qingyan inside. “We’re in time for the store’s celebration today. Who knows, we might even get a discount.”

“Yes, yes. Let’s go.”

Although Ji Qingyan was rich, discounts were always nice to have. This was a woman’s nature.

The moment the three of them entered, they were attracted by the festive decorations.

“Yuanyuan, look, there are a lot of people gathered there. It seems to be a shop celebration. Let’s go over and take a look.”

Ji Qingyan held He Yuanyuan’s hand and walked toward the signboard not far away.

“Second event of the shop celebration.

“Tonight, at 5:30 pm, Henglong Plaza will hold the second round of the shop’s celebration, featuring a couples’ obstacle race.

“The first-place winner will receive an unconditional discount of 20,000 yuan for purchases over 40,000 yuan + a Pikachu plush toy (168cm).

“The second-place winner will receive an unconditional discount of 10,000 yuan for purchases over 20,000 yuan + a Hello Kitty plush toy (143cm).

“The third-place winner will receive an unconditional discount of 5,000 yuan for purchases over 10,000 yuan + a Doraemon plush toy (122cm).”

When Ji Qingyan and He Yuanyuan saw the reward on the poster, they turned around and looked at him with burning eyes.

Lin Yi stepped forward and held He Yuanyuan’s head, turning it around forcefully.

“It’s a couples obstacle race, not a leader-subordinate race. Why are you looking at me?”

“I can pretend. My senior sister is such a proper lady. How could she possibly play this kind of game?”

“Hmm… You make a valid point, but you’re not worthy of joining me.”

“Damn..”
