I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 896 - 896 Do You Think I Donʼt Dare?

896 Do You Think I Don’t Dare?

The Starfish, Room 2020.

Owen and Jones were eating in the room and talking non-stop.

“Have you heard? It seems that someone has already reached the top. They’re so fast,” Jones said.

“I know,” Owen replied concisely. “But this has nothing to do with us. We didn’t kill him that day. We still have to think of a way to attack him again.”

!!
When the two of them left, they knew that the bullet had hit Lin Yi’s shoulder blade.

As professional assassins, they knew very well that such an injury could not kill him.

“But it’s strange that he didn’t give up on the competition. There’s been no news of him for so many days. Is it possible that he continued participating?”

“Not likely,” Owen said.

“Don’t forget that he’s a rich man and doesn’t lack money. He came here to record a show to satisfy his interests. After being shot, he naturally wouldn’t be able to stay here anymore. His life is worth more than that of ordinary people. He wouldn’t stay here and continue to take risks.”

“Then our next plan is to go to Zhonghai,” Jones said.

“But I am guessing it will take a lot of effort to attack him next time around. He won’t give us such a good opportunity. Moreover, he has the ability to kill crocodiles with his bare hands. It’s unbelievable.”

“If he wasn’t powerful, his life wouldn’t be worth two million dollars,” Owen said.

“Let’s stay for another day. We’ll take action when we return to Zhonghai tomorrow.”

“I can finally do something big. In a place like this, it’s inconvenient to do anything. If I were using my old friend, even if I hit him in the shoulder blade, he would be dead.”

Owen nodded noncommittally. “We already have his information in our hands. Let’s formulate the next step of the plan and try to complete this contract as soon as possible.”

“Okay.”

Sizzle! Sizzle!

Crack!

As the two of them spoke, there was the sound of electricity crackling, then the sound of the door lock being unlocked.

Their expressions suddenly froze, and their eyes were filled with surprise.

This was their room. Without a key card, outsiders could not enter at all.

Even so, the two of them quickly regained their composure.

As professional assassins, the art of disguise was a compulsory course for them.

However, when they saw the person who came in, their expressions were extremely surprised!

Because the person who entered was Lin Yi!

“Hello, you are…”

Seeing Lin Yi, the two of them pretended to be surprised and confused.

“It’s only been a few days, and you don’t even recognize me?” Lin Yi smiled.

“When you shot me, your memory didn’t seem to be that bad.”

“Huh?”

Owen’s expression was exaggerated. “Sir, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Besides, this is my room. Why would you suddenly barge in here? It’s against the law to do that.”

Whoosh!

Lin Yi raised his leg and kicked Owen in the chest.

The latter could not react in time. His body was sent flying, and the coffee table behind him was shattered.

“What are you doing?!”

Jones roared out, his eyes hostile and defensive.

“I’ve already investigated your background,” Lin Yi said.

“You’re a famous assassin on the dark web, so stop pretending. It’s quite boring.”

Their expressions changed. No one expected Lin Yi to investigate all these things as soon as they met.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m just an ordinary cashier. I’m not a killer. Don’t randomly accuse us.”

“I’ve always done things in a methodical manner. I’ve never done anything that I’m not confident in. Since I’m here, I’ve naturally investigated everything about you clearly. It’s useless to pretend. You don’t have a choice. Just cooperate with me.” Lin Yi said.

“Now, you’d better tell me who sent you. Don’t make me keep wasting my breath.”

The two of them looked at each other and felt the terrifying aura of the man in front of them.

At this point, there was no need to continue hiding.

The look in his eyes said it all. No matter what they said, he would not waver.

Owen’s eyes darted around, trying to come up with a new idea.

The most important thing now was to think of a way to get rid of him and escape from here.

Thinking of this, Owen clasped his hands behind his back and made a small gesture at Jones.

The latter understood and quietly moved to the side of the sofa.

However, this small action could not escape Lin Yi’s eyes. He rushed straight toward Jones and kicked him away!

“There’s a gun hidden on the sofa, right? Save your small tricks. I’m already here. Do you think I’d give you a chance?”

“What are you trying to do?!”

Jones clutched his chest, feeling as if his bones were falling apart.

“Tell me who sent you.”

“I can’t tell you that. Just stop.”

“Why are you guys acting like Sunrise Landese ninjas? Why are you all so stubborn?” Lin Yi said.

“Or do you think that I won’t dare to continue attacking you?”

“We’re Meiguons,” Owen said. “If anything happens to us, you won’t have it easy either.”

“There’s no way for an entrepreneur like you to survive if your reputation is ruined.”

Lin Yi looked down at the two of them with a smile. “If you say that, it means you don’t know me well. To be honest, I’ve already killed a few foreigners like you. Aren’t I still alive and well now?”

With that, Lin Yi shrugged.

“I know you won’t believe me, but it doesn’t matter. It just so happens that there are two of you here, so I can give one of you a demonstration.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Lin Yi grabbed Jones’ clothes and walked to the window, opening it.

“What are you doing? Let me go!” Jones struggled loudly.

No matter how tall he was, he was like a little chick in front of Lin Yi. There was no room for resistance.

“You’re already at death’s door, yet you still want to act so arrogantly.”

Lin Yi’s hand landed on Jones’ neck, and Jones fainted immediately.

The sea breeze blew in from outside. Lin Yi didn’t waste any time and threw Jones into the sea.

Owen, who sat paralyzed on the ground, was dumbfounded. The Starfish had been anchored at sea, one nautical mile away from the shore.

Jones would definitely not survive if he was thrown down like this!

Was he really a company boss? He was too bold!

Even a professional assassin like him did not use such ruthless methods!

Lin Yi crossed his legs and sat on the sofa. Then, he took out the scalpel he carried with him.

“To tell you the truth, this Starfish is mine, so no matter what happens, no one will come here. You’re very unlucky. Even if you want to die, I won’t give you such a quick death unless you’re willing to give up the mastermind behind this plan.”
