Chapter 895 - 895 Dog System

895 Dog System

Seeing the other party rush over, Lin Yi crossed his hands over each other, preparing to block this move first before counterattacking.

However, when the other party kicked him, Lin Yi immediately realized how strong he was.

Even with the support of his lower body, he could not defend the blow.

This kick sent Lin Yi flying a few meters away. His wrist was numb, and it took him a while to recover.

!!
Not far away, the man in black didn’t give Lin Yi any chance. After one attack, he rushed towards him again.

This time, Lin Yi became serious as well. The power accumulated in his dantian erupted in an instant, and he faced the man head-on.

Their fists collided in midair.

This time, Lin Yi wasn’t at a disadvantage. The two of them were in a deadlock, neither of them gaining the upper hand!

The man in black didn’t expect Lin Yi to be so strong.

He quickly adjusted his strategy and kicked Lin Yi’s face.

Lin Yi took a step back and raised his head to dodge the attack.

At that moment, Lin Yi felt that the wind caused by his kick was like a knife cutting his face.

Immediately afterward, Lin Yi’s shoulder slammed into the man in black’s chest.

The latter realized that something was wrong and raised his right elbow to block Lin Yi’s move.

However, because Lin Yi had seized the initiative, the man in black was caught off guard and took a step back to stabilize himself.

The distance between the two widened again, and Lin Yi couldn’t see the man’s face.

However, he felt that the mask was abnormally strange, as if it had a soul-stirring power.

The man in black casually patted the dust off his body and attacked again.

This time, Lin Yi realized that his moves were even sharper. His strength and speed had also increased greatly.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

In a few seconds, the two of them exchanged more than ten moves.

During this process, the man in black gradually gained the upper hand.

Lin Yi was forced into a passive situation. Even the wound on his shoulder hurt slightly, and the speed and strength of his punches were affected.

Whoosh!

The man in black raised his leg and kicked Lin Yi in the chest.

Lin Yi didn’t react in time and took a few steps back.

However, just as he was about to rush up, he realized that the man in black had already taken the box and ran down the mountain. It was too late to chase after him.

“F*ck!”

Lin Yi cursed. He wanted to chase after the mysterious figure, but the wound on his shoulder hurt.

He knew that even if he could catch up to him, he might not be able to defeat him.

In any case, there was no hope of chasing after him. Lin Yi sighed and calmed himself down, preparing to meet up with Zhao Yinian.

When he climbed up again, Lin Yi saw that Zhao Yinian and the crew were already standing together, preparing for the final shoot.

“Brother Lin, where did you go? Did you see that black shadow?”

“I couldn’t catch him. He’s gone.”

Initially, Lin Yi wanted to hide this news and didn’t want others to know of this, but it was obviously impossible.

Because the moment he climbed to the top of the mountain, the helicopter in charge of filming also ascended alongside him. The camera must have captured the scene of the man in black.

However, he did not know how the film crew had captured.

“Attention, all units. Prepare the equipment and film the final ascension process.”

“Got it, Director Yan.”

After giving the instructions, Yan Ci called Lin Yi to the side.

“What’s going on? Why was there someone else at the top of the mountain? Furthermore, that person seemed to be wearing a mask.”

“I don’t know,” Lin Yi shook his head.

“Didn’t you catch up with him?”

Lin Yi shrugged. “I caught up, but I didn’t manage to beat him.”

“Ah? Even you’re not his match? That’s impossible, right?”

Lin Yi lifted a corner of his shirt, and Yan Ci realized that the black undershirt inside was already wet.

She went forward to touch it and realized that it was actually stained with dark red blood. She was so frightened that her face turned pale.

“Wait a moment. I’ll get someone to help you treat your wound.”

“Don’t be so surprised. It’s not a big deal,” Lin Yi said.

“The show is coming to an end. Let’s finish recording this part first. It’s just a small injury. We’ll be able to deal with it when we get back.”

“Are you sure it’s okay?”

“Don’t worry, it won’t delay our exercise.”

Yan Ci pinched Lin Yi in embarrassment. “I’m going to kill you. How could you still say such things now?”

Lin Yi laughed and walked back with Yan Ci.

However, for the sake of the show’s entertainment value, Lin Yi and Zhao Yinian returned to their resting place and prepared to climb over again. This way, the camera could record the entire process and the show would be more complete.

After climbing back to the top of the mountain, Lin Yi took out the national flag from his backpack and plunged it into the location specified by the production team!

This was to announce that he was the first person to reach the finish line.

At this moment, the system notification sounded in Lin Yi’s mind.

[Mission completed. Reward: 200,000 proficiency points.]

[Profession Completion: 100%. Reward: D-rank combat power!]

F*ck!

Lin Yi cursed in his heart. All that work, and this is what you’re giving me?

Lin Yi rubbed his temples. If he had given the D-class combat power to him earlier, even if his shoulder was injured, it wouldn’t be a problem to deal with the man in black.

Damn it!

Although the system was useless, he still had to collect the reward.

After absorbing the D-rank combat power,

Lin Yi realized that the power accumulated in his dantian seemed to have become stronger.

If E-class combat power was equal to a value of 1, then D-class combat power was 1.5. The difference between the two was very big.

After completing the mission, Lin Yi sat cross-legged on the ground.

After living in the forest for so many days, he was a little tired.

However, for the sake of the integrity of the show, Lin Yi still cooperated with Yan Ci and said some dignified words.

However, Lin Yi had no intention of stealing the limelight. After doing what he needed to do, he stood aside and left most of the scenes for Zhao Yinian.

She was in the entertainment industry and needed this kind of exposure more than him.

For him, it was better to keep a low profile.

By the time the recording of the program ended, it was already dusk.

Lin Yi and Zhao Yinian took the helicopter back to the shore.

Sitting in the back of the helicopter, Lin Yi looked at Yan Ci and asked softly,

“The two foreigners named Owen and Jones should still be on the ship, right?”

“Yes.” Yan Ci nodded and said,

“According to the production team’s rules, contestants who have forfeited will be sent back every five days. Today is the fourth day, so the two of them are still on the ship.”

Lin Yi nodded. “I’ll go meet those two.”

“Actually, I’ve been paying attention to their actions these past few days. I really didn’t find anything strange about them. The things they talked about were very ordinary, and they seem like ordinary Meiguons. Don’t use overly aggressive methods. It won’t be good if there’s a misunderstanding.”

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing. I won’t do anything unless I’m absolutely sure.”

With that, Lin Yi sighed in his heart. Every time he reached this point, he would miss Qiao Xin dearly.
