892 Don’t Delay the Exercise

The flying bullet hit Lin Yi’s shoulder blade!

There was a muffled groan!

Fresh blood flowed down the wound. Lin Yi clutched his chest and fell to the ground.

However, Lin Yi was not in the mood to care about his injuries.

!!
As he looked in the direction of the gunshots, he saw two black shadows disappear from the forest.

However, because they were too far away and the two of them had even disguised themselves, he could not see their faces at all.

“Brother Lin!”

Seeing that Lin Yi was injured, Zhao Yinian and the cameraman hurriedly ran over.

“Don’t worry, I won’t die!” Lin Yi gritted his teeth with difficulty, his expression pained.

It was clear that his life would not be in danger.

The moment the shot was fired, Lin Yi sensed a trace of danger and changed his direction and posture.

It was also for this reason that the bullet did not hit his chest, but his shoulder blade.

If it was an ordinary person, they would naturally not be able to withstand such an injury.

However, Lin Yi’s bone density had been strengthened, increasing to twice that of a normal person.

Coupled with the effect of his perfect physique, Lin Yi’s body far exceeded that of ordinary people, so the damage was still acceptable.

“F*ck!”

Buzz buzz buzz!

There was a huge roar in the sky. A white helicopter descended from the sky and a ladder fell through the air. Two paramedics immediately climbed down.

At the same time, there were two people in Sunrise Land military uniforms beside the helicopter’s door. They were holding guns in their hands and keeping watch on the situation on the ground.

If there was any danger, they would shoot without hesitation to protect Lin Yi.

“Don’t move. We’ll check your wound now,” said the two Huaxian paramedics.

“The bullet didn’t go in. It was blocked by my shoulder blade.” Lin Yi gritted his teeth. “Help me disinfect it and take it out with the tweezers. It’s not a big problem.”

As professional assassins, Owen and Jones produced such results not because they were not capable.

It was because the situation at the scene did not allow anything better.

The production team had requested that they were not allowed to bring any additional items onto the island, they had tried their best to bring a Type 95 pistol that was easy to disassemble.

Because the power of this gun was relatively weak, Lin Yi was able to block it rather well.

If it was Desert Eagle, Lin Yi would probably be reduced into a bloody mess.

The two paramedics cut off Lin Yi’s clothes. When they checked his wounds, their expressions were shocked.

“Your bones are really hard. If it were anyone else, their shoulders would have been pierced.”

“It’s not just his bones. I feel that his muscle tissue is different from others. Ordinary people can’t train to this extent.”

“And look at his chest and abs. He’s more well-defined than most.”

“Um, ladies, I was just shot. Can you help me take out the bullet first?”

“Oh, I’m sorry. Let’s do it now.”

The two paramedics were very professional. It didn’t take long for them to help Lin Yi take out the bullets.

Zhao Yinian witnessed the entire process. When she saw the bloody scene, she felt like she was about to faint.

About two hours later, the wound was disinfected and bandaged again.

Lin Yi knew in his heart that he wouldn’t be able to do any strenuous exercise for the next few days. He would need at least a week to recover.

Buzz buzz buzz buzz…

At that moment, the rumbling sound came from the sky again. Another helicopter came to a stop above them.

Lin Yi was surprised to see that the person who got off the plane was Yan Ci.

“Why are you still here?”

“Why do you think I’m doing here? You’re badly injured.”

“It’s nothing serious. You don’t have to worry about that. It won’t affect the exercise.”

The others present were stunned.

Why was he still thinking about exercise at a time like this?

However, only Yan Ci knew that Lin Yi had an ulterior motive. He was referring to the exercise between a man and a woman.

“Come back with me now and don’t participate in the rest of the competition. I’ll send you to a hospital in Sunrise Land. You have to receive more professional treatment.”

“I’m not a teenager. There’s no need to baby me,” Lin Yi said.

“And now, what you need to pay attention to is not my injuries, but the two assassins. If they attack others again, you might as well call off the whole show.”

Yan Ci frowned. As a director, she had to take responsibility to deal with this thing.

“You asked me before if any outsiders had landed on the island. Did you mean this?”

Lin Yi thought for a moment and shook his head. “No, someone else shot me.”

Lin Yi was sure that these were two groups of people.

The person who killed the crocodile with his bare hands was not weaker than him.

Moreover, he was certain that the other party did not follow him to the island.

In other words, that mysterious person was not here to participate in the show. Instead, he had other motives.

That crocodile was just a pitiful bystander.

As for the two people who secretly attacked him, they might have another motive.

No one knew how they got here.

It was possible that he had snuck in, just like the mysterious person.

However, it was also possible for them to have blended in with the show and seized the opportunity to attack him.

Yan Ci held Lin Yi’s hand and stood to the side. Even though this was a wading area, there were people from the Sunrise Land Self-Defense Force guarding the sky. Therefore, she was not afraid.

“This is way beyond anything I can handle. Do you have any ideas on what is going on? Or maybe you’ve offended someone recently and someone came looking for you for revenge.”

“There are indeed many people who have a grudge against me, but it’s unlikely that they would chase me here to assassinate me.”

Killing someone with a knife was completely different from killing them with a gun.

Among his enemies, no one other than Caie Mitsui had the ability to do this.

However, after thinking about it, Lin Yi felt that it couldn’t be her.

Because the relationship between the two of them was very nuanced, she couldn’t wait to form a connection with him and obtain the so-called research results.

Therefore, no matter how one looked at it, it was unlikely that she was the one who did this.

Moreover, the culprit had chosen this place to attack. Along the way, he had killed a crocodile relatively easily as well.

From these points, it was obvious that the other party was an experienced veteran.

However, apart from Caie Mitsui, who else among his enemies had such ability?

After some thought, Lin Yi looked at Yan Ci and asked.

“According to my guess, the person who attacked me might have disguised himself and followed the production team to the island to attack me while I was relaxed.”

“But we did a strict check on everyone who boarded the ship. These people were very ordinary in their lives and have no bad criminal history. Logically speaking, there shouldn’t be this kind of problem when it comes to personnel…”

Yan Ci suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

Lin Yi realized that something was wrong, and his expression became serious.

“What’s wrong? Did you think of something?”
