I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 868 - 868 Boarding the Boat

868 Boarding the Boat

Yan Ci’s speech was met with enthusiastic applause and whistles.

Their eyes were filled with desire, and they did not hide it at all.

They wished they could sleep with her right now.

For a man, the most satisfying thing is when everyone else is fantasizing about having sex with this woman a thousand times over.

!!
However, in reality, she had already slept with Lin YI.

Lin Yi kept his achievements and reputation hidden.

As there were many Huaxian contestants participating, Lin Yi stayed where he was.

The other leaders of the television station did not leave after this. They prepared to talk about the details to their respective groups here.

Facing her own people, Yan Ci relaxed a lot and said,

“I’m sure everyone saw me when they signed up. I’m the director of this show, Yan Ci.

“I’m here to reiterate the things to take note of for the show.

“The recording time is not fixed. It can start suddenly when you’re eating, sleeping, or even going to the toilet. Therefore, everyone has to be prepared to deal with all kinds of unexpected situations.”

“Is this for real? Isn’t this too serious? Why is it like a military exercise?” Someone asked.

“That’s the effect I am going for,” Yan Ci said.

“In the wild, new things can be discovered suddenly. It’s impossible for us to wait until you’re ready before we start. That’s what life is like, and so is the show.”

After that, Yan Ci looked at everyone present. “Does anyone have any other questions in this regard?”

No one answered, which was a tacit agreement.

To them, this might be more interesting.

As long as they were alert and prepared at all times, the rules would be beneficial to him.

Seeing that no one said anything else, Yan Ci continued,

“Now, I’ll briefly introduce the situation on the island. The name of the island is Kyokawa Island, but it’s not small. It measures more than 1,000 square kilometers, which is equivalent to one-sixth of Zhonghai. In the center of Kyokawa Island is an extinct volcano that rises more than 800 meters above sea level, but the terrain is steep. As long as you can successfully climb to the top of the mountain, you’ll win this event and can successfully obtain the prize money.”

Yan Ci’s words made the participants present eager to give it a try.

As long as they climbed to the top of the mountain, they would be able to obtain a huge reward. The difficulty was not as high as they had imagined. It could even be said to be a little simple.

After hearing this, Li Jiani and Huang Yunhang were very calm. They were not over-excited at all.

The production team had set up such a high prize money. It was impossible for them to get it so easily. It was a little too early for them to be happy.

Similarly, Lin Yi was bored and started watching the others.

There were indeed people who were excited, just like Chen Dongzhe and Li Sheng, whom they had met previously.

However, a small number of people already guessed that it would be impossible for the participants to obtain the prize money so easily.

There would definitely be all kinds of obstacles.

“Don’t be happy too early. You have to take this seriously,” Yan Ci said.

“According to the records, this kind of uninhabited island has no record of residence other than regular inspections by the island’s defense personnel. This means that there are no existing paths to choose from, and all paths must be broken by the participants themselves. We have also inspected the terrain in advance and found that the mountain is very steep, so it is not an easy task to scale it.”

A basin of cold water was poured over everyone, dampening their enthusiasm.

“In terms of food and equipment, we’ve already prepared everything. It’s almost enough to last you a week. However, how you will survive the rest of your days will depend on yourselves.”

In the previous simulation seminar, many experts who had survived in the wild generally believed that it would take at least a month to climb to the top of the mountain and get first place in such an environment. Therefore, they had made such preparations in advance.

The crowd listened silently without making any comments.

“In addition, because Kyokawa Island is an isolated island with no usable docks around it, the Starfish will stop about a nautical mile away from Kyokawa Island. However, we have prepared fifty small lifeboats in advance. The limit is 260 kilograms, and only three to four people can take each vessel. As for who will end up getting, it will depend on everyone’s ability.”

“F*ck, there are even these kinds of rules. Is this a race for supplies?”

“You can think of it that way,” Yan Ci said, “and different supplies will also be provided in different stages. We will notify you separately at that time.”

Hearing Yan Ci’s series of comments, Lin Yi felt that Yan Ci was clearly an experienced director. Her show was full of gimmicks.

What the audience cared about was not survival in the wild, but intense conflicts and fights.

Otherwise, period dramas would not have been so popular.

“That’s all I have to say. Until then, everyone can move around freely. You can also prepare for the future task. If there’s anything you don’t understand, you can ask the staff. Dismissed.”

After the order was given, the dozens of people dispersed.

Lin Yi turned around and walked towards the cabin. Yan Ci, on the other hand, looked at Lin Yi deeply from behind and muttered in her heart.

“Don’t I look good in this outfit? Why don’t you look at me?”

When they reached the cabin, Lin Yi was pulled into the room by Li Jiani. The three of them sat together.

“Mr. Lin, according to the production team’s rules, we can reach the island at any time, so we have prepare in advance.”

“There’s no need to rush,” Lin Yi said, “It’s already so late, let’s go eat dinner first.”

“Why aren’t you anxious?” Huang Yunhang said.

“The director has already said that the show can start at any time. If it starts during dinner, won’t we miss the best opportunity?”

“Mr. Lin, I think we should be a little more serious,” Li Jiani said.

Lin Yi sighed helplessly. “Yan Ci already said that she’d stop about a nautical mile away. Didn’t you hear her?”

“What does that have to do with anything?”

“According to the information package, the shortest distance between Zhonghai and Kyokawa Island is about 900 nautical miles, which is about 1,700 kilometers. The fastest a cruise ship as big as the Starfish can move is 28 knots per hour, which is about 50 kilometers per hour. In other words, it will take at least 36 hours for us to reach the island. Why are you in such a hurry to discuss this? Do you think they will throw you into the Terrean Ocean?”

Hearing Lin Yi’s words, the two of them realized that what he said made sense.

“So for now, let’s go eat. We can discuss the rest later.”

“Shouldn’t we make some preparations regarding the lifeboat?” Li Jiani asked. “It might be released at any time.”

“You don’t have to worry about the boat. I can definitely get one for you.”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course.”

Lin Yi said indifferently.

How could a group of normal players compare to a person like him who owns the whole ship?

The Starfish belonged to him. If he couldn’t get a lifeboat, wouldn’t that be a slap in his face?
